My friends an I usually bring our own liquor on the plane with us due to they do not sell what we drink here. We usually do not buy bottles in the club either but when we do, or have to, its mostly for the Chicas to drink in the club. When we bring them back to the apartment to party in private they drink less of our liquor since they already had plenty at the Disco. What got me annoyed is that they did not allow us to buy the small bottle, it was the large bottle only, then after we opened and started talking to girls and having them sit and drink to feel out their personality, all of them cleared out of the club and we had so much left to get rid of. We didn't even get a chance to get whatsap numbers so we can text them to have them come back with us.

But you are indeed right, we could have taken the bottle with us but I was so annoyed I just told them dump it since we are not going to drink it, and no girls there to drink it either.

Sounds like going to CTG is a pain in the ass right now. I want to go in Dec, hopefully the situations will improve. What liquors do you bring with you? Good luck with the loco chicas.

Me and another board member were at a spot in Medellin. I sat at a table 20 minutes waiting for them to come clean the table and take the order. So the guy went to the bar and bought 2 beers for us. They finally cleaned the table. When he came back with the beers and they saw us sitting there drinking them, they came and took the table from in front of us. So we were just sitting there tableless. They said you have to buy a bottle to sit. I said mf we been here 20 minutes waiting for you to get this table together. Four Colombian guys came and they ordered a bottle and they gave the table to them. The guys had us join them and asked us to drink with them.

Why not just tell them to bring the bottle with them?

Leaving Cartagena today on American I did not fill mine out until I got to the airport, Checked in for my flight than was sent to customer service and guest what she fill the whole thing out for me and once it is done I got the return email in about 5 seconds. She used the airport internet it is out side the customer service office back in the corner and that where you get the internet. I played confused and take out my wallet and she came outside the office walked me to the corner and fill out the whole form. Take less than 10 min. For the whole thing and the return email. My suggestion, act confuse but with money my cost 5 one dollar bills. Skip that long line out side too with a few $ and he took me right to the girl checking everyone in.

I ill try that in due course if my plan B fails. But part of the problem may well be that I applied too early. I have to wait until 22nd.

Thanks for the input. As I explained to Mojo, my previous visit to the site has me locked into a password that it will no longer recognise, so I am going with the plan be I mentioned to him. The worry is that if that does not work, by the time I find out and am able to come up with an alternate plan such as contacting the Colombian Immigration Office, I am only 15 hours from takeoff.

Last night was terrible!

Ok we agreed, got the bottle, got the table, then 15 minutes later one of the bouncers started walking around whispering in the girls ears and it was like the flood gates opened as 90% of the girls left the club. Now we are sitting there with a bottle of liquor more than half full surrounded by mostly men.

Trying to figure out what the fuck is going on I texted 3 chicas who were in there that I have a history with and they all said the same thing. The police were doing operations and immigration, so all the Venezuelan chicas left the clubs and all the girls are now at the Clock Tower. I went outside to confirm and indeed cops everywhere, about 15 alone in front of Dulce and Space. I try to go back inside the bouncer won't let me in, saying he cannot let anyone in because of the cops. So I just paid for a table, with bottle service, and cannot even finish the bottle because he won't let me in. I text my friends to pour out the liquor in the bucket of ice (for principle), pay the bill and lets go to the Clock Tower. My friends come out the club with blue masks on saying the bouncer went around handing out masks like crazy, telling every one mask up.

We started walking around to get new girls but the sewage smell was too strong in some places that didn't drain properly from the rain earlier in the day. We walking around until almost 2 am and called it a night of wasted time and money.

Despite it raining every day, the sewage smell, and the random police raid, this is still by far one of the best times I'm having here. I have not heard a single leche papi and hearing more duro papi duro, and mas papi mas. Jajajaja.

Before I decided to go Airbnb, I made inquiries with some hotels, and it appears that the booking is dedicated to the girl you sign in with. If you get rid of the original girl, most will require you to make a new booking or pay a joiner fee. I am still a virgin regarding Colombia, so it is best that you check directly with the hotel, but as I understand it, you will not have any probs as long as you are monogamous.

Well, as far as they know I will be monogamous, at least in their hotel. In the airbnb apartment a few blocks away I plan to be decidedly not monogamous.

I have a "Plan be" in place. The lady who is hosting my Airbnb, has a sister that is a travel agent. She will fill the form out for me and use my alternate email address so that I can print off the paperwork when it hits my inbox at this end. I've given her all the necessary details, and I am now waiting to take my PCR test on Saturday.

I am going to Cartagena next month. A girl from Barranquilla that I met a few months ago in Miami is meeting me there and will be staying with me the entire stay. If I register her as the 2nd guest in the room, will hotels have a problem?

Thre is no restriction that says a man and a woman cannot check into a hotel together, no matter thier nationalities either. Think of it this way if there is a restricion it is for "visitors" not "guests", You and the chica will both be guests. You make the registration with your name and her name on the registration then show up with your respective IDs and you should be good to go.

That's what I figured, was just making sure. I will probably get an apartment as well so I can entertain visitors.

Think of it this way if there is a restricion it is for "visitors" not "guests", You and the chica will both be guests. You make the registration with your name and her name on the registration then show up with your respective IDs and you should be good to go.

I am in the same boat as you: a 1st time refugee from SEA, and the perceived wisdom seems to be that you are more likely to find success with Airbnb. But ypu will need to clarify with the hosts in advance.

Look through recent posts on this section, and there is plenty of advice from regular mongers.

Thanks but I am talking about 4 or 5 star hotels. I am sure there are some hotels who allow guests. I looked on the video and one he showed looked okay 2 star.

I see from your screenshots that this is entirely different from the site I've been using. Also if you read you read the post by Lefeu, he pretty much complains of identical problems to that which I had including password probs.
