There are a few good restaurants with top floor vistas. Cafe del Mar is the most obvious and busy. The Townhouse is a little out of the way, but it's interesting, although often busy. The top floor of San Pedro Cafe / Mirador has good food and less people than you'll find on other roof top venues. Quiebra Canto is a good place to dance or hangout; good view back to the clock tower, great for people watching, when they have live music it fills up; the other Salsa venues down Calle 30 can be a lot of fun. With shopping. Centro Comercial La Serrezuela is interesting and pretty new, I imagine she might like checking it out. Getsemani has a bohemian vibe and walking there at night has some pulse to it. The Arab restaurant in Bocogrande sometimes surprises costenas.

My gal is a costena and will be checking out the city today. I know it is her home base but anyone have any suggestions for good couple's activities?

I flew American from Miami here, really cheap flight like under $200 and I bought it last minute because Spirit cancelled my flight to Fort Lauderdale. Airplane had full sockets so you could plug in a laptop or phone which was nice. The last minute flight to Miami was more than the one to Cartagena. Spirit is giving refunds for the cancelled flight and added a $50 voucher as well.

Migracion app is now asking for vaccine status. They do not require proof of anything. Colombia is just asking for it. I think if you say no, you can still come, for now. I imagine this will change soon.

I am at the Hyatt, real nice place. I tried this beef called something like Bistec Cartagena. It was really good. It had a nice and different local sauce on the beef. The Mrs. Had ceviche. Then had a desert called the Costeno. It is like a coffee ice cream with coconut style cakes, very good as well. Price was crazy as expected in a hotel. Waiter was thrilled at 15% tip.

I might persuade the Mrs. To check out one of the clubs and hope to give you guys an update on the Clock Tower scene.

To add to this. Do not! I repeat do not exceed the limit of the apartment that is listed. For instance if the limit of the apartment is 6 individuals and 3 mongers rents it, you can only have 1 chica each simultaneously. If a monger decides to have trio bringing the head count to 7 total and the host find out and can prove it they can cancel your reservation and kick you out with no refund because the rules were violated. Pay attention to those rules. Do not get cops involved on the property for loud noises after hours, they can also cancel your reservation due to that.

Sometimes you can talk your way out of it but expect to pay on the spot extra money to the host.

Everyone should take note of this excellent advice especially newbies!!

If you have an issue with the rules ask for clarification just don't willfully violate them expecting no consequences. Don't ruin your vacation.

I had a couple of options available on Airbnb for an upcoming trip which I've since postponed. Both are in Getsemenai.

You will need to write to the hosts for confirmation, but make sure that they are aware that you will not be having wild parties, accept full responsibility for your guests, and that you will be bringing different girls with you.

Absolutely correct I should have clarified that it's not a guest policy it's a "visitor " policy, as far as Airbnb goes you can almost always find this under "house rules". The language will be something like only registered guests allowed or in some cases only "previously registered guests'
Believe it or not most of the people who operate these airbnbs don't want to have their time wasted and they are aware of the situations involving chicas!

It's not ruled out then then message and ask if guests are allowed and add that you're not going to have large parties. The biggest concern really is groups of dudes who bring girls in for large parties. Most of the no visitor policies as a result of the few people who just can't tone it down.

I can't post his contact info here, but do the search in this or Hotels and Apartments thread, and you'll find Juan who rents apartments in Laquito and Centro. His building in Laquito is called Marinero or Marin. Many members including me highly recommend this guy, he speaks English and is super reliable.

I have a nice hotel for 3 days, girl visitors over night approved and a Airbnb for 3 days also girl friendly with over nights visitors. RTFF send some messages and make some calls.

Go to the web-site for Airbnb, see if you can get luckily by sending out lots of messages to the apartment owners be up front tell them you want to be able to have visitors over night and you are will to pay a fee. They reply fast. Next, see what hotel that are listed on the map found on this forum that are open for your dates and girl friendly in hopes you find one that has cancelations. Read the forum hotel and apartment rental section. Go on line to Booking.com, Vrbo, Home to go. Read the forum and look for Juan's contact information he has nice apartments all over. Good luck.

When they reply its usually "bien why tu" and you can follow back with "Muy bien" then ask "Prepargo?" or "Tu cobras?" and they usually come back with "Si" or "Obvio" if by chance you get a "no" then immediately unmatch. If you get a "Si" you next step is to take the conversation outside of tinder and continue it on whatsapp or instagram where you can discuss prices and services. Once you start the conversation outside of Tinder, go back and unmatch them because they can be vindictive and report you, once you get too many reports, they will ban you. I've been there, had to make a whole new Facebook with fake name and a new phone number just to use Tinder again.

You are however beginning talks way too early. Once they find out when you are coming they will most likely say they will wait for you, or see you when you get here, and then they will stop responding to you until you actually get there. I usually start swiping a few days before my arrival date and line them up.

How about this If you too lazy to actually read through the thread even from yesterday why should we bother answering any of your questions.? This isn't a tourist agency we're here to share information and the things that you're asking about have been gone over again and again and again...... Look at the map the Chica friendly places are listed there..... Unfortunately it's not as easy as it wants was to find someplace that will allow you to bring these girls in but trust me once you pick the girls you'll find a place for you to fuck If you can't or don't want to go back to your own place..... If you want to stay someplace nice this is really the best option. Otherwise just keep in mind the beach is not a strip club go have fun and just to respect the fact that You're not a VIP cuz you buy a beach chair for 5 bucks and buy a girl a drink. Lol

Okay so me and a couple of friends will be going to Cartagena next week Friday-Sunday. I read through these posts and know where to find chicas at and also for how much. The issue I am having is where do you guys say? I know how the city is broken down between San Diego, Centro, Bocagrande, etc. The question I have is can I find an airbnb that is located in Bocagrande that is guest friendly. It seems like every Airbnb does not allow guest down there. I was deciding on staying in Centro and San Diego near the action but also want to be somewhat of a tourist and get a nice 13th floor penthouse with a pool and view of the ocean. LOL guess you can not have both. So I need some advice.

1. even though they say guest are not allowed can I use pay the security guard to allow us to bring chicas up.

2. should I just stay in Centro near the action? A hotel or Airbnb y'all recommend?

3. Just get short time hotels (never tried this). How was it?

You really have the expectation to find a guest friendly apartment that will be available in 1 week? Unless someone canceled, Doubt it. Every monger already booked their guest friendly places way in advance, they don't wait 1 week out to make the most critical decision that will effect their stay.

1. Yes you can sometimes pay security to let the girl up but then they get greedy and will want $XX per chica you bring in, that won't be fun after the third chica.

2. Hotels are an option you can try but I don't know what their updated guest policy are due to COVID. Apartments in Centro can be a hit or miss when it comes to hot water and many of them do not allow guests, some even go as far as putting in the house rules they do not rent to men.

3. Check the map or when you pick up the chica, ask her and she will tell you. I've never done it because I don't like to be on a time limit and I like to move freely.
