I would advise if it does not say it on the official embassy site then it is not official yet. Site shows Last updated 2021/6/2 but perhaps by 6/7 it will be updated to reflect no PCR required.

Until the section of Entry and Exit Requirements, bullet point #3 is updated to reflect no PCR is required I would still go with the negative PCR test.

- Are USA Citizens permitted to enter? Yes.

- Limited international flights have resumed to eight of Colombia's busiest airports Bogota, Cartagena, Medellin (Rio Negro), Cali, Barranquilla, Armenia, Pereira, and Bucaramanga. Colombia re-opened most land and water borders for travel on May 19; the borders with Panama and Ecuador remains closed. Further details can be found in the PDF file on this page. Until June 30, travelers coming from India or have been in India during the last 14 days are prohibited from entering.

- Is a negative COVID-19 test (PCR and / or serology) required for entry?

Several airlines have already updated their websites that the COVID test is no longer available to enter Colombia but filling out CheckMig is still required. Also the IATA has stated it. Don't worry because the embassy website will update soon. Good times are ahead.

Got up bright and early this morning and headed for the airport ready to get to one of my favorite destinations Cartagena. Everything on my check list was crossed off. First leg of the flight was no problem. Getting ready to board the plane in Fort Lauderdale show the gate agent my COVID test and to my horror, it's the wrong one. I got the Antigen test but to get into Colombia you need the PCR test. If you're headed down make sure you get the PCR test. Oh well I made it back home and will make plans to try again in a week or two. In the meantime have fun boys!

I had a very similar experience the last time I flew down in March of this year. I got the PCR test but the results were on a hand written form with a cover letter. I flew Tampa to Ft Lauderdale and once in Lauderdale the agent took so long reviewing my documents I missed the flight out. I had a 16 day trip planned so I got a room for the night and they changed my flight for the next morning. Originally I was to go to BAQ but I ended up flying into CTG and and taking a bus over. Once I got to CTG for entrance the same thing happened and I got delayed there for an hour while they scrambled around to get approval.

Thank God I am very fluent in Spanish and was able to chat my way through it playing the "I'm sorry but this is what they gave me" routine.

Going back for July 4th weekend and will check all the boxes this time.

You are correct but read back through the past week in the Medellin thread. Right now you really have to keep your head on a swivel in Medellin some of the protests have been turning into riots and some Regular board members that frequent Medellin are urging extreme caution.

Here right now. 200 K for an hour unless you are some kind of mark. It's a little more stressed here at night than it was in February. But the beach had been great and plenty of fun to be had all over. Many chicas in the street in Laguito. A little more aggressive than normal. Walk around borracho at your own risk at night especially around the Torte Reloj where there are many more police and small time hustles. 10 pm curfew every night. And no restrictions going into hotels and the kind of girls I choose are not going to slip anything into my drink....lol.
