Doesn't matter how hot it is. Lack of hot water is misery and it's bad hygiene for the girls. I read every single review for an apartment rental, and move to the next one if there are any mentions of the lack of hot water even if it "didn't bother them much. ".

Hot water in the shower, hah! The vast majority of Colombian chicas have no idea that hot water in a shower is even possible, seriously here in my apartment in Medellin and I regularly get questions from my chicas such as "why are there two nobs in the shower" and "which one do I use to turn on the water", I have to show most of them how to use so much that I have even posted a laminated sign in my shower, in Spanish, on how to operate the hot water and more importantly how to adjust the water temperature.

Of course these are more the barrio chicas from the higher barrios in the mountains of Medellin, where the air temp is colder than the valley floor. Just in the past 3 months I have had about 5 different chicas enjoy the hot shower.

I have had costenas over for longer stays in my apartment, these are from the coasta areas of Cartagena and Barranquilla and they prefer to take cold showers although hot water is readily available.

Tell you boy T I thought I was the only person walking around calling it a curse. Yes in DR it can be a curse. You win some, you lose some. No telling who can take the the. But in Cartagena, I didn't get not one damn complaint or I can't, I can't. They try it and they do enjoy it. But doesn't allow smoking. Many places don't allow smoking. Many places have checked the marks, but no hot water. A balcony is nice, but only necessary if I can't smoke inside the unit. I'm on vacation. I need the place to allow smoking. I have a nice place, balcony, seems like comfy bed from reviews, decent wifi, guest friendly. But no hot water. It is what it is. Won't stay at a place without hot water for hygiene reason and general quality of the building: good places tend to have hot water. Also, it's not how tepid or cold water is but how comfortable are you and your girls with cold water; also heat takes its toll on the body, you don't need to feel temperature contrasts.
