First of all, I would like to say thank you guys for all this amazing advice. This is a great an awesome community. If any of you guys are in Medellin in August, I would live to link up and check out a couple spots. I'm a 30 year old (pretty young in the game) and been mongering in SF for a couple years now. Medellin sounds like a mongers paradise and would live to explore with one of you fine gentlemen.

Now my question is about Lutron. I read many amazing but older reviews. Has anybody been there lately? Any good talent?

Also any good alternatives?

Super excited! I got a SWEET fare through JetBlue. I'll be down there mid-April. Down to hangout / connect with cool people. I'm a laid-back, no drama, fun-loving dude and seek the same. Probably not going to hardcore monger, but will definitely test the waters. Looking forward to non-mongering activities as well as relax.

Working with Juan to hopefully secure my accommodations. I know Airbnb can be a dicey situation with guests, but if someone can recommend a a place that doesn't cause issues. Please let me know.

Oh gawd I remember in my past life, it seems like another life at times, the obligations I use to have and carry and deal with, no more, dios mio.

I would suggest that you do make a visit to Bogota if you can make room for it, heck that would round off your visit as you would experience Medellin and Cartagena and Bogota.

I'm a frequent Tijuana monger, but its my first timer going to Colombia.

Did some reading on this thread and rented an airbnb for the week.

Hope to meet some nice chicas.

Any tips / advice welcomed.

The CoronaApp was surely required in December. It worked fine on both iPhone and Android. And it worked fine with international numbers. I assume it is still required to travel domestically. It was not hard to use if you understand Spanish.

Junior, it may have changed but the corona app (I think that is the one Colombians use to fly domestically if not pardon me) does not work with US numbers. When American citizens enter the airport, they show their boarding pass and passport.

Just had a great 3 days at the Hyatt with someone I met on line and checked her on with me as a girlfriend. Coming back next month and want to have fun with many. Thinking of booking a 5 star hotel for $100 at the Hyatt and then another apartment to bring the girls back to rather than a short term hotel on case any are worth staying the night. Has anyone else done this. Appreciate the advice!

Had a great dinner of Red Snapper and shrimp and decided to check out La Dolce Vida. It was pretty early around 8:00 pm but there were at least 40 girls in there and things were only heating up. Maybe one other group of a party of 5 guys in there and then there was me haha. Grabbed a beer and surveyed the land as I was getting constant smiles from Chicas eager to head out with someone.

Hahaha, we must have been there the same time GoodTimes. You weren't lying about the 40 girls. My and my friends counted 4-5 guys and all those girls, but we didn't stay. We couldn't deal with the music so we left after I got one number. We went to the plaza then off to Delirium where the music was just right and the crowd was enjoying it.

The Corona App was not required for me in Bogota or Barranquilla in December. I used it in October, but a board member (I think it was Elvis) posted it was not required in November, therefore I did not use it in December and nobody even said anything about it.

Surfer500 posted this question in Medellin thread and then in the Travel thread and then got some weird message from the administrator because it was though he posted something he did not post, it is an important question for anyone traveling around inside Colombia:

" I'm going to be travelling from MDE to Santa Marta next month. Is there a requirement that you have a Colombian App on your phone to get into the airport to board a domestic flight. Will the App work on a USA cell phone, if not, how is this handled. In other words if you don't have a Colombian cell number on a smartphone will you be able to get inside the airport. Nature of trip is to suck on those nipples besides penetrating some holes. Any help would be appreciated. ".

That's a good point, but I can only travel a few times a year, and my trips are short. Nice amenities are important to me. And mongering while staying in nice places seems to be problematic in Cartagena.

Another thing is that I'm a shorttimer. I really pay them to leave, as the joke goes. I'm very nice to girls, but I'm not looking for a girlfriend. I don't need them to hang out with.

That is, of course, until or unless you really meet a girl who is so much fun you do want to spend more time with her. Then I could just check her in with me, as I always book double. Problem solved.
