Playa Azul has been opened, Bocagrande beach to be opened next week. I don't know which bars are opened, not a big deal to call each place you are planning to visit. Visitors: Call / email the owner or management about their current policy or just rent a place without a security / concierge. I would still wait until next month. The statements that all girls have left are obviously false.

No guests is a game killer! Are the beaches open? I'm hearing conflicting reports.

Not Playa Hollywood. They have opened some small beach areas. That's what I was told last week.

EDIT: There's a reason for this. You can't just turn on an entire tourist economy in a day. Most hotels and businesses will want to wait until at least mid November as a start date. They need a percentage of business to justify being open. That's not going to happen immediately. Until that critical mass hits Cartagena will be in this weird half-opening stage.

It's not a rumor. You can't register visitors. Pools are closed. I posted about this a while ago. This may change in the future but that's the status right now. All the chicas I know have gone to Bogota and a few to Medellin.

It's not a rumor. You can't register visitors. Pools are closed. I posted about this a while ago. This may change in the future but that's the status right now. All the chicas I know have gone to Bogota and a few to Medellin.

For Cartagena 2020, it is no blow and no ho. Though there was one guy trying to sell me something. It is nowhere close to what is being described in Medellin or Bogota. I would only go if you had someone lined up like I did. There literally were no working girls around the clock tower that I saw.

That is interesting. I did a search and noticed some hotels available for booking; however, a lot of hotels did not offer availability.

Maybe someone with boots on the ground can help us out.

I just verified with Avianca no covid test needed to fly within Colombia except. If your flying to San Andres and one other small airport in the Amazonia. In that case you need a test 48 hrs before takeoff and the 48 hrs start clicking from the moment you get the test. A pain in the ass but if you want to fly to those places you got to do it.

I thought you meant international.
