You can try muscle your way into Medellin thread just to see how promptly other BM are going to react. You have been asked to share information about apartments but you refused. Instead you tried to question if other BM has even been to the city, all without any merit. This Super Bowl I was at the Hilton, El Laguito. If you think all visitors should stay at Palmetto or similar buildings only and never step outside imaginary tourist boundary, you're just plain wrong, there are much more to the city.

Don't forget the VAT or IVA issue; if she a Colombian (in most cases) or a person with a visa of a particular kind, you have to pay the hotel tax. I understand the idea well, why not to sample all the best hotels in the city night by night, and bring in a guest for the night, register her, right? Sounds nice, but as I posted, a time gap and a tax, and you have to pack and unpack, and eventually it raises all kinds of questions with authorities.

I am comparing what happened in Mexico with Corona with what it was like before. In the past, I would have hotel concierges bring women to my room in the past. Now, those same hotels have freaked out with Covid. Comparing what is going on in Thailand now with what is going on now in Mexico and what will be happening in Colombia is apples to oranges.

I have no clue what the CTG apartment scene is like, but I know in Mexico, bringing in a woman not on the guest list in multiple hotels was not allowed and before Covid it was. Hotels are tracking people, and I would think that the government will force them to. Maybe you can get by seeing some multiple women with some cheaper ones where the women do not pass the front desk.

As for the VAT, I have never paid it when I have had a Colombian guest in a hotel. Maybe it was just lucky, but I have not had to.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the states". In any case, whether you are referring to the United States, to Colombia, or any other country, the bilateral agreement would cover departures and arrivals between Colombia and another country, including the so-called "biosecurity measures". Those measures may or may not include quarantines. In spite of very definitive statements on this website and others, no such measures have been announced by the Colombian government. That may yet happen but it has not happened yet. I appreciate that it is frustrating and tedious to deal with facts but in the end it saves inconvenience and further frustration. I speculate as much as anyone but I make a point to say I am speculating when I don't know the facts.

So how the US going to sign off on anything if quarantines are imposed by the states. ?

I cannot recall being denied a late check out by anyone. If you are members of clubs like Marriott, even the silver membership gets you a late checkout at 2 PM. 4 PM if you are gold. And the hotels are not very full anyway. They will more than likely let you check in early as well.

YK makes a good point, but if you check in with two people and your chica is with you at the time of check in or if you just have her name, it is no problem. But having a CTG fuckathon with multiple women does not look good for now.

Why are people who have never been to Cartagena or understand how things work there posting advice like this? Can you find a building without a security desk? Sure. You're going to spend your entire vacation searching and this building won't be anywhere near the attractions. Do you want to stay at a building without a security desk? I doubt it. The whole point of Cartagena is you pay a little more for a more touristy experience and piece of mind.

I've seen this time and time again. The last time I was there I met a guy who only booked two days because he "wasn't sure. " he thought he could just book an apartment for as long as he wished at a moments notice. The guy spent more time dealing with living arrangements than doing anything else. He was exhausted by it. The only bookings he could find were for 2-3 days at a time in between the longer bookings other people were making. He must have moved five times total. Oh, and not everywhere he went was chica friendly or an apartment I'd stay at.

Also forget hotels in Cartagena. Generally they'll discourage mongering as much as they can.

It's pretty normal in Bangkok. I always request multiple set of towels upon check-in and everyday afterwards. You can have different people regardless gender come in the whole day even at the best hotel without any issues.

Not only in Bangkok. In all hotels I have been in Singapore, KL and Batam nobody asks the ID to guests. They can come and go as many times you want. The first thing I do there (I must say: I DID THERE. Who knows when I will do it again?) is to ask housekeeping to leave me a stock of 3-4 bath towels, multiple toiletries, etc, to cover any possible future event. Once in Batam I brought 4 young girls to sleep to my room, because they shared a room in a poor hotel without air condition.

You are correct. I always select two 2 people staying in the hotels even though it is just me. Hotels check ID and if they remember the girl and she is not the same one you brought in before they won't let her in. I stopped using hotels and started with Airbnb's. I had to message each potential place and ask them if guests are allowed. Most say no. The ones that allowed it I saved them in Airbnb and use them over and over again. Then I one chance his policy and only would allow the guess I registered. So then I had to check before renting apartments again if their policy had changed. They do try to discourage mongering in Cartagena. I found Medellin easier, I still would check with the Airbnb owners before booking but a lot more were chica friendly.

Thing is you bring in women for a day or two and book for two people and then switch hotels or residences if you want to have more than one chica. The previously chica friendly hotels in Mexico City were anything but when Covid hit. I had to get one chica a separate room one night to get her into my hotel.

One option is having a residence that allows for multiple bonings a day is like an airBNB style apartment that is very private, but I do not know how you find that. The only other possibility I can think of are multiple cheap hotel rooms which I did in Mexico City as well but even that option was not that great due to no shows.
