Yes it will kill the game but we won't know if this is the case until Colombia actually opens up. I see in the DR a lot of places are just happy to have customers again and are not giving them a hard time If they have guests. Let's hope Colombia is also the case. I'm going to sit back and wait on reports before I book anything or I may email Airbnb hosts and see what their policy is on guests once Colombia is open.

Are you actually in Cartagena? I'm curious about the situation of the Venezolanas in Colombia. I have heard conflicting reports. On the one hand a few mongers have told me, like you, that most of the venezuelans have gone back to Venezuela and there are mostly only Colombianas working. On the other hand, I've heard from multiple people that Santa Fe is still filled with Venezolanas. Muchisimas. I've also heard that Maduro closed his borders and even heard news about venezuelans being stuck in Colombia.

This is the Cartagena thread not the Bogota thread. All my Venezuelan chica contacts in Cartagena left the city. Some went back to Venezuela. Others went to cities like Bogota or Cali. The one who is left tells me things are starting to open up but all of her working girl friends are out of the city. Again, I'm referring to Cartagena and not every city in Colombia. I don't visit the other cities often so I can't tell you what's up there.

No, of course I am not in Cartagena. The city has been a ghost town for a while now. Even the real estate agents I know who rent me the apartments told me the buildings were shut down tight when the lock down first started back end of March.

EDIT: I just whatsapped the real estate agent who usually rents me an apartment. She straight up told me no access to the roof top pool and no visitors allowed. Only registered guests or guests coming to register are allowed in. You can't even get to the reception area if you're not supposed to be there.

Why not wait until flights resume and verify the current situation before making a decision? YippieKayay might be right, or he might be wrong. At this point it's premature to make plans either way.

I cannot imagine anywhere is going to be happy with women being paraded in and out of rooms. Thing is you bring in women for a day or two and book for two people and then switch hotels or residences if you want to have more than one chica. The previously chica friendly hotels in Mexico City were anything but when Covid hit. I had to get one chica a separate room one night to get her into my hotel.

One option is having a residence that allows for multiple bonings a day is like an airBNB style apartment that is very private, but I do not know how you find that. The only other possibility I can think of are multiple cheap hotel rooms which I did in Mexico City as well but even that option was not that great due to no shows.

Granted, this is from Santa Marta but not Cartagena but here are the rules at the Marirott there:

Fitness Center: Open from 6 am to 9 pm, we have established a maximum capacity of people and we have a number of furniture in accordance with the regulations in order to respect social distancing guidelines. Reservation required and facemasks are required at all times.

Spa: Open, from 8 am to 8 pm, reservation required.

Beach: Open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. There are limited chairs available as we encourage our guests to respect social distancing guidelines and for fulfill the local regulations.

Kids Club / Playground: Closed until further notice.

Our Restaurants are open every day in different schedules:

1525 Restaurant.

For Breakfast: On Weekdays from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM and on weekends from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Only available Á la carte service.

For Dinner: Every day from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM.

Cayeye Restaurant.

Open for lunch and dinner every day from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

You will likely find a route and get a seat on a plane landing in Cartagena. You won't find many restaurants or clubs open (many have closed permanently). Venezuelan border is closed and many of the chicas are long gone not to return for a while. The beaches will have social distancing rules that will be enforced so good luck meeting chicas there. The buildings where you generally rent an apartment that is chica friendly will deny entry to any visitors due to social distancing.

It's done. It won't be back for a while. It's going to be at least a year or two before Cartagena is back as a mongering destination.

I think for the most part you are right. I know many Venezuelans who are still there. I mostly met women online so that doesn't change but with the clubs closed and social distance on the beach no place to really party. Then if the apartments don't allow guests it's done. It was work finding chica friendly apartments before COVID. It was much easier to find them in Medellin. Colombia took COVID very seriously and shut things down. Which why I'm in another country where finding chica friendly spots is no problem. I'm going to sit back and let all the people who are waiting on Colombia to open go and see how they fare. No point on going if I can't bring chicas back to my apartment.

Good news is that the new report showed direct statements from the President.

The President said in the reports, international flights will be open in September. However, he did not say which day.

I can't remember what it's called, but the laminated one is what they get if they lose their cedula and are waiting for a new one. It's basically a letter with their information on it, but no picture. It's incredibly easy to fake.

The US, Canada and Central America are on November schedule for Avianca. The question is not how to reach CTG, but when at the earliest on the balance the trip may be nice and with less issues on the ground (no quarantine, no sanitary measures, no curfews, no closures, nice weather and girls are there).

I just got off the phone with Spirit airlines for the flight I booked from South Florida to Cartagena for the end of September. I explicitly asked the rep what the requirements were for entering the country as well if the flight is still going to happen and she told me I need a negative COVID test. No more than 72 hours and that the flight was still going. Now I'm confused because some of you are saying Colombia might be closed until October. Anyone have any sources they can cite?
