I tried search for threads that discuss mongering prices / rates as to what's the norm or acceptable, I could not find any, but I admit I did a brief search. I know Cartagena is more expensive as opposed to Bogota and other places. A friend told me his buddy is currently in Bogota and the rates for the girls he meets are unbelievably inexpensive. If I am not allowed to discuss rates please advise me. If the preferred way to ask is through PM's let me know as well. If the moderators need to delete this I understand. Thanks.

Unfortunately the CC processor went down on this site. I don't see a point to get a bitcoin wallet for Mongering. Chala, if your staying in the walled city, we can use the hotel front desk idea. I am staying at the palmetto beach tower and leave your name at the front desk. Worst come to worst, we setup a meet up at one of the bars at night and then go looking for the girls. Please stop posting names of hotels or apartment buildings and asking about policies. You'll ruin them. Within a few months the rules will be changed because everyone on the Internet can see them and bad apples will start showing up.

This is a question to all. I recently traveled to CTG with a buddy, who insisted that the best place to find girls is to visit a special upmarket casino. He states that he did this eight years ago with great results. Therefore, one night he and I visited three casinos on the main drag in Boca Grande and saw NO CHICAS. He adamantly insisted that we just hadn't found the "right casino. " One he said that had a round building, a rotunda he said. I took him to the Clock Tower, and told him about Playa Hollywood. Still, he felt we had missed something. Any of you guys have any comments about Chicas and casinos?

Once you're promoted to Senior member your posts go up immediately. At least until you annoy the admins and they put your posts back on moderation. I believe it takes a post count above 25, plus 3 or 6 months without breaking any of the written or unwritten rules to get moved to Senior member.

Thanks JjBee62 I stand corrected. I was not aware of that, I do not think I noticed the transition of my posts going up instantly, but its been a long time also. I do remember being a little excited about being able to access photos after paying my subscription and being terribly disappointed because many of the photos were of women who would have to pay me to have sex.

I have seen where phone numbers are deleted by the administrator, so I don't think it is allowed anymore than personal email addresses. As for reading posts before they go up (if I understand you correctly) I am fairly certain that is done by the bots built into the forum, no way anybody has time to read every post that goes into every thread in this world wide forum. I imagine that the bots look for the stuff that is not allowed, like email addresses, phone numbers, and any other info the admistrator bans on the website. So none of your posts get treated any other way when you subscribe, you simply get more privalages, like PM, and access to images etc.

Thanks Mojo, a couple of things. I am not new to forums been browsing and have had memberships for almost 20 years since the late nineties. As far as my Spanish is concerned, although I stated its "meager" I can carry out a conversation or two. It might not be as good as many of the members in this group but I have been getting by in the Caribbean for years. Ill be fine, the good thing is I am eager to learn.

With respect to the phone number, I would never put my main number out in any community. This number I have is very expendable to say the least, it would be no harm at all posting it, but if the other member never saw it would be all for naught.

With respect to YippieKayay I appreciate his input and I have responded to him, I guess I have to wait till a moderator approves it for it to be posted hopefully Mojo you will see it when posted.

Finally a subscription definitely would be in my best interest, in part to be able to PM helpful folks as yourself when needed. However other then subscribing to communicate with Joe who will be in Cartagena same time I will, I would not do that until the moderators of this forum allow my posts up without having me me wait for them to review them. I understand totally why they do it, I just am not going to pay for that.

All in all I look forward to getting to Cartagena and visiting, the Clock Tower ("la Puerta why la Torre del Reloj" Space, Playa Hollywood and LDV with or without a fellow mongerer. Thanks Mojo!

Please consider.

1. Two months is not a "long term rental".

2. In Strata 6 neighborhoods, monthly electricity can run $250 - $350 month when running the air conditioning all the time. Therein lies a big hurdle: foreigner not used to heat and humidity in CTG likes to run air conditioning 24/7, which then creates a monthly electric bill equivalent to a 3000 square foot home in FL during the month of August, even though you're renting an 800 square foot apartment.

To give you an idea of the prices in Bocagrande, I rent an apartment that's facing the beach, clean, with modern furniture. One bedroom and two bathrooms. It's about 65 USD a night up to 90 USD a night during busy season. The same type of apartment in the same building is also being rented out for 100-200 USD a night by other real estate companies. Looking for deals is key.

That's out of the range of the budget you mention but if you are alright renting a room you can get into the 10 USD to 20 USD territory. There are hostels like that in Bocagrande.

I am returning to CTG in 4 days. This will be my trip 2. Trip 1 was a disaster. I'm not going to dwell on trip 1 but now for trip 2, I am excited. For me it is so much easier to get to CTG than were I have been visiting, RIO. From were I live in the midwest RIO is at least 16 hours with lay overs. It takes several days to recoup. Its half that time to CTG. I like the clock tower. This is what I liked about RIO. A local bar near the beach after about 11 pm was loaded with chicas. But not near as many as the clock tower. I will report.

2 months is not long term. You will need a guarantor or deposit for longer term. However, this budget can get you a room in good area if shared with other 2 travellers in an older building. The other option is to rent in non-touristy areas, which I personally would not do: not very safe and far away from action.

Cruise ships and their sailors don't care what the price is, as do a lot of tourists.

That is why the price for pussy is higher. Also there is not much day time places for action.
