What I have been told is that the issue is not if they have a cedula, it's that if they are not Colombian they must have a passport.

The problem is that their passports do not have stamps due to them crossing the border illegally or they over staying the visa.

I think the government is putting pressure on lodging not to accept Venezuelan passports without the proper stamps.

Depending on where you are staying, you could or could not have a problem. Most places in El Liquito don't even bother to register in the girl if build a little rapport with the night security, just walk in and smile and nod and walk like a boss to the elevator. As long as she doesn't look [CodeWord903], you should be good to go.

I mostly fucked out of my own stable but did pick up a couple of new chicas.

I don't feel Cartagena is a discount destination. Even with the great exchange rate and low prices on most apartments (in Bocagrande and Laguito) you still are competing with other tourists. Many of those tourists tend to stay in the old city, or in a hotel and just throw their money around. Almost every time on the plane the person sitting next to me asks if they "accept dollars" in Cartagena. You can't fix stupid so prices will go up, and the locals will try to squeeze you with shit like minimums.
I keep telling friends never ever pay in dollars and use debit cards. I learned a lot from your posts over the past few years. I scored one nice girl from LDV last trip otherwise wasn't impressed at all with the ratio of girls to guys and at most the girls were 6-7. I miss Electra!

I always stayed in an apartment in El Laguito because it simplified things, in those days LDV (La Dolce Vita) was at the little shopping center place in El Laguito and walking distance to my apartment. I most frequently got chicas out of there and sometimes Elektra. I never had any luck at Playa Hollywood, but also avoided Tony like the plague. Now it seems to me that the dynamic there has changed. I did use a short time hotel once but did not like it, I always want to take the chica to my place. So I have been watching some of the videos on YouTube shot in Plaza de LOS Coches (Clock Tower) around the clock tower and they show all these women there. This was not the case I my visits "back in the day". I don't know when all the Venezuelans showed up there, but is this why the Plaza de LOS Coches is now? I can count how many streetwalkers I saw in that area on one hand most of the time (I did pull a Chica off the benches across from where Tu Candelas was at the time but she was a 6 in the face a 9 in the body)..

    Cartagena Dynamic Changes

Yes that is a stupid heading for a post but I could not think of any better term for the question that I am about to ask. I have been to Cartagena a few times. I can count how many streetwalkers I saw in that area on one hand most of the time (I did pull a Chica off the benches across from where Tu Candelas was at the time but she was a 6 in the face a 9 in the body).

In the YouTube videos of women in Plaza de LOS Coches (Clock Tower) where you can see the girls clearly, my guess is that 1 out of 10 are beautiful. When I used to go in LDV I would say the ratio was much better than this for beauties. So is this still true if you go into Dolce Vita? Is the quality better there and in Space than what you see in Plaza de LOS Coches?

I have read that most of the women are Venezuelans, and it makes sense that these are migrants driven out of Venezuela by the crappy economy and as I'm sure most people know it is basically a failed state. I would have also thought that this would have driven prices down but since I read that prices are the same as the first time I ever visited maybe it is what is keeping prices from rising. Cartagena has had a lot of good press as a must-see tourism spot. Forbes Magazine called the Getsemani neighborhood one of the Ten Coolest Neighborhoods in the world. I can see on Google Street View that there are much more buildings that have been renovated and painted up to look nice than when I visited, and there seems to be many many more people from the SA visiting than when I was there (I hardly ever saw an American). So with an increase in visitors, the law of economics would say that prices should have risen, but they remain the same (Yes you could argue that not every tourist is a monger, but I would argue that many tourist will turn monger when they see those gorgeous chicas, and there are many more conventions there now so that's when boys will be boys).

I am heading back down there in either late September or October, and I am not sure I will go anywhere to search for chicas other than the clock tower area. I am curious about the new Dolce Vita and I amy check it out, but I don't drink and I don't see the need to meet there drink minimums if I don't have to. If I have to I usually just buy drinks for chicas I am interested in or just in general to try to get the chicas loosened up a little.

Ny thoughts, comments, or suggestions related to about this ranting are appreciated.

I also found an apartment, with no front desk after 7, so all you can eat buffet from 7 pm onwards. I took 2 friends down with me and after showing them the ropes, they were able to fend for themselves, including 2 3 some at 80 in total. I encourage anyone going down now to be careful though. The Venezuelans have really took over the place and the men and street kids are very aggressive in begging and touching you as they beg. So watch your wallets. I also encourage you, since it is slow, to not be too hard on the negotiations. The girls do this for work and need to eat!

I am working on a membership, and senior members, I will share the apartment info. It is literally by the Clocktower!

I also have numbers to share if you want to hit the ground running hard.
Can you OK me some info? Tonight is my last night here.

    First time ctg

Today I finished my research for my first trip to CTG. Reviewing the last 20 pages of this site all of my questions have been answered. Normally for a city on my first visit I study the last 50 pages. This time I only looked at the last 20 and it worked out. I will tell my bank I'm on my way to Colombia so they don't freeze up my account. This has happened to me several times. Mostly my fault. That's why I carry more cash than I should. Once I had a prob in Ukraine. I was in Odessa my credit card was frozen and I was 1100 miles from the airport for my return flight. Its a good story check the Ukraine site.

As I said this is my first trip to CTG so I'm only staying for four days. In those days I hope to get a understanding of where to stay and where to look for chicas.

Too expensive. Amsterdam may still has this kind on show but anyway I'm looking for it in this part of the world.

    Thanks.
Chicas will do a "lesbian show" but I have never seen it done at a strip club. Its usually done in private. You could try places like Pley Club but its outside of the tourist areas.

Keep in mind that Colombia has a fairly conservative society despite the prostitution and drugs.

I have been in similar situations.

One thing you can do is contact who you rented from and give them the names and details of the people you want to let visit.

They can call the building and add those people to the rental. I have done this several times.

There are plenty of places that allow unrestricted guest access, you just have to do the work to find them.

There is a section in the Air BnB description of the unit per location that addresses and publishes the house rules the owners wish for you to abide. It's been four years since my last visit and I have been several times prior but so much has changed and little for the better.

And plenty that don't care. You just need to ask. It's not hard. Tell them you will have guests at night and if it is permitted. You will either get a yes or no response. It's that simple.
