As mentioned in many posts before, chica friendly places are to be found. Rules vary a lot from place to place. A safe and secure option are motels. Bring the lady there for 2 hours and get back to your hotels without worries. Cost: around 20 usd for a good one.

I was just in ctg 1 week ago and that worked out perfectly.

That's Juan so I think it should be fine. Then again people here won't post saying its chica friendly or not because lots of people going to these buildings for mongering means there will always be a bad apple or two. Explore and learn which buildings have rules.

(Hint, most allow some visitors up to a curfew).

Will be taking my first trip to Cartagena May 15, been to Medellin many times and Bogota as well. Found a super cheap flight so I figured I would give Cartagena a sfhot.

I am looking to make my first trip to Cartagena. I have a couple of questions:

1. Are the buildings on the beach girl friendly? On Airbnb I am seeing a lot of buildings say that visitors are not allowed. I would like to stay near the beach and casinos. Any recommendations?

2. Anyone know if the casinos have poker rooms and what games they spread?

Planning my first trip to Cartagena and seeing that a lot of buildings (especially right on the beach) on Airbnb say that visitors are not allowed. Is this true? What are recommendations as to where to stay? Are the beaches in Cartagena nice for swimming, laying out?

There had been a casino next door. Last time I went by there was a sign in the window the space was for rent and was closed. Has it moved to a new location?

Its in the old city now. It moved a long time ago.
