Well, if you take a taxi to laguito, from the airport, you will find various buildings, I recommend, Torres Del lago, Mirador Del laguito, and Playamar. They are close to the beach, and to the LDV. The college locals hang out in centro, mostly near the clock tower, or at the malls, CASTELLANA MALL or Caribe Plaza.

Daytime, well, maybe the beach in Bocagrande, or laguito, or the malls, the ones I mentioned before.

I am thinking about going down to Cartagena the weekend before July 4th, anyone know if that is a particularly good or bad time to go? I believe it is university holiday during that time.

Also, it will be a national holiday for San Pedro why San Pablo, do you know if this is a holiday where people will be celebrating a lot or if there is a possibility of them cracking down and closing the bars? Given Cartagena is a coastal town, I imagine it would be the former, but prefer to confirm before booking the trip.

I agree with this rant; 100% The pics a few post ago of Alejandra (?) she was PERFECT the way she was. It's a "Keeping up with the Jones" attitude that is fueling this gross over the top plastic surgery. I know too many girls who have destroyed their perfect. I hit all these clubs Tu Candela, Elektra, La Dolce Vida (LDV) mainly to check out the eye candy, have fun, enjoy, dance to the music. Most of these girls just seem way to hardcore (only looking for $$) , I'm quite sure they will be watching the clock, looking for a good tip and all business. Too mechanical for me. I have travelled ALL over Colombia numerous times and know the game very well. I'm a gringo yet half Colombian so speak perfect Spanish yet look very gringo. The best GEMS were girls I met simply tooling around and having fun. Playa Hollywood beach girls are getting very greedy and ones from Medellin in Cartagena even worse. Years back it was so layed back and relaxed. Things seem to have really changed and its all a big business. LDV La Dolce Vita Club in El Laquito has great music, yet is it me or the girls looking and acting way too business like? Its like not fun anymore.
