Thanks OneFireBoy. Guys I have been reading lot of negative reports about so many incidents in Cartegana. My suggestion for newbies and veterans please use OneFireBoy. You will be very safe with him as he is local to the area and knows in and out of everything in the city. He also has beautiful non pro girls he can hook you up. Every time I go to cartegana I meet him and always safe even in the clubs and surrounding areas.

Stumbled upon some horror stories about Androgeno Latin club.

That is called being a non-streetwise inexperienced traveler. First there is no need for you to befriend local men. Say Hello, and exchange a few words, but do not go accepting drinks from people. Second, do not ask for anything that you have not seen or gotten the price for ahead of time.

About 20 years ago me and 2 buddies walked into a Cabaret in Nice, France. They straight ordered drinks while I asked for a menu. Upon opening the menu, I saw that the cheapest thing there was water st 35 euro. Their drinks were 40 euro each. Do not allow someone to capitalize from your ignorance. Ask for a menu and / or get prices up front.

If you're a tourist, AVOID this place! While in Cartagena Colombia, I went to this bar with some people from the UK. Once we got to the bar, we met some locals who offered us some drinks. Everything seemed fine, everybody seemed nice. Eventually as the night went on, the people from the UK decided to leave, and I decided to stay as I didn't feel at risk.

After being with the locals for a few minutes, I ordered two beers. One for me, and one for the local guy I had been chatting with. This is when things quickly escalated. The bar owner came over with a bill, asking for me to pay 10 X the price for two beers. Initially I said no, and asked them to correct it. He walked away for a moment, then returned back. "No, you must pay the bill or you're not going to leave the bar". I turned to go to the bathroom and as I came out, three men were standing next to the door with the EFTPOS machine asking me for even more money. I then realized I was in a lot of trouble. They grabbed me, took my visa and phone from my pocket, and began charging my card without my consent.

I then tried to exit the bar without my visa or phone. The bouncer at the exit said, "You're not leaving". I walked off and tried to find another way out. Eventually, I found an exit and took off running out of the exit. As I got through the door, I was chased by around 20 Colombians. I think I was also drugged before at the bar (this is common in Colombia), because as I was running, my legs gave out and I collapsed on the ground.

Once on the ground, I was attacked. I was kicked and punched repeatedly by multiple Colombian criminals. They carried me back to the bar, where they threw me on the floor, dragged me around, kicked me, and punched me. The police then came. These particular Colombian police were corrupt (also common in Colombia). They hogtied my legs, and handcuffed me. The police were laughing as the bar owners and their friends took their EFTPOS machine and continually transacted my VISA card.

After two hours of being kicked, punched, and having my money stolen, the police un-handcuffed me and left me with the criminals. The criminals then loaded me in a van. While I was getting into the van, one of the guys pulled out ammunition and cocked his pistol directly in my face. His friend waved a baseball bat; insinuating that I had better oblige, or be killed.

They drove me around to different little local ATMs and tried to make me withdraw more cash but the limit had already been reached. Once they realized there were no more funds for them to withdraw, they drove me down a side-road and dumped me out of the van. I then had to find my way back to my hostel. They still have my phone and VISA card.

I literally just witnessed the WORST situation I could possibly think of concerning drugging and robbing. I was at Androgeno's nightclub in Cartagena which I found randomly on Google. Upon entering, I immediately felt as if something was off because the girl to guy ratio was insane. I could count the amount of men there were on my two hands. However there were at least 40 women. I stayed for about 20 minutes and waited for my uber inside before it arrived. Towards the entrance, there was a a white man that looked like the typical "gringo" who was falling over, couldn't keep his head up, and could barely stand. Because of the small amount of men present, I precisely remembered him dancing with a drink in his hand when I first arrived. The club's security was holding him up while a young girl was going through his pockets and unzipping his pants. This was also the same girl who briefly tried to talk to my brother when we first entered the club and she immediately asked if she could go back with him and have drinks, but he politely declined. The security guards at this club were holding up the man while the girl searched his pockets and quickly ran to get her two other friends. I tried to intervene and act like I knew the man and they quickly shut me down and told me to back off. They had a car outside waiting in which the clubs security carried the unconscious man inside first and the three girls got into the car. They tapped the car and screamed "hurry up, get out of here". And the car sped off, I tried to take a picture of the car and the security guard threatened me and put his hand up over my phone. In order to protect myself, I just walked away and kept quiet. Hearing all of the stories of foreigners robbed brings awareness however seeing it with my own bare eyes literally brought chills to my body. I'm up at 5 am writing this because I can't sleep thinking about this. Literally thinking that this was the same girl trying to talk to my 18 year old brother minutes before made it almost hit very close to home. Myself knowing that I put in all the effort I could to prevent anything else bad happening to this man but I wasn't able to do a single thing left me upset. The typical story of someone being drugged and robbed typically happens when they invite someone to their home, however this was a public place with many people around. I'm not sure how he could've played it any safer. Also seeing the employees contributing to such an awful crime literally shows that no one can be safe or trusted. I really hope there is some sort of action that can be taken from now on to ensure the safety of tourists in Colombia.

I've gone to this place a couple times but I've always had a local tour guide (those club promoters on the street) with me. It's definitely sketch but like all of Colombia you got to be on high alert all the time. I've had great times there but I surrounded myself with people that were-trusted. I was told by a local that there's locals that go there specifically to pickpocket foreigners. Even felt my pockets tugged a couple times that night but I already had the tip and one of those man purses on me with all my stuff. Sad to hear about what happened to everyone here with those bad experiences.

I went to this after hour club one time, by myself and completely blacked out. Don't remember anything that happened. Don't know how I got home and woke up to my phone missing. Had my watch, credit cards and some cash in my pocket. The worst hangover I had in my life woke up dizzy and tired for like 3 days. This club is in a shady industrial area near the port outside of the tourist zone. Promoters usually say this club is in Manga it's be. S it's after Manga in a shady zone where there is other burdels.

I feel like reading the posts the last 2 months, the issues arise from not following rules, procedures. Whatever you want to call it that you should in this hobby.

First everything stays in the safe. Everything car keys, phone, passport, credit cards, extra cash, phone, jewelry, iPad, anything you don't want to lose! The second I get in the apartment my things go right in unless I'm absolutely alone.

If it's not a girl I really know, phone goes in the safe. Otherwise that's only thing I would keep out even with a known girl.

Your suggestion is super simple yet EXTREMELY Important. Yet you'd be surprise on how many fail to follow these basic guides. I think it's bc of the new younger generation that doesn't have the discipline yet in this hobby. This used to be an older men's game as we all know. I'm lucky to have learned from them in my first days. But many many of these guys incl some of my friends think they're in Miami partying when in CTG or other spots. I even decided to not take anyone with me on these trips since I get too busy watching and coaching new dudes acting like they never see pussy, acting a fool LOL.

This make take years before we see a change. Cause once we fix we the way we move and act, the petty criminals drugging will move on to another hobby if they can't find no victim. It's all on us.

My thing is this. You go there to fuck, yeah a little dance and have a good time, but first and foremost we can all get drunk at home or a local bar. Focus on the pussy, drink moderately, keep your eyes on the prize. That's what's forgotten.

I also can't stress this enough always maintain possession of your drink. Even when in your room (apartment / hotel / etc.) and you have a visitor, and especially in clubs, and etc. If you have to go to the bathroom, take it with you. When drinking you never know who is working against your best interest.

Since you are arriving during the daylight hours, there will be little or zero action on the streets of El Centro. I don't know whether the site you mentioned has woman who host but would think that is highly doubtful, which means you have to arrange a short time hotel for your liaison. When I was in Cartagena a few months ago, I met a friend and his wife who happened to be in Cartagena on a port of call visit. They had very little time to even meet me so you may want to check how long you can stay to catch the return to your cruise ship. Doesn't really seem worth the effort.

Out there. With these posts and some of the content I've been watching online, it seems like Colombia is a different animal in comparison to other mongering spots. I tend to keep a low profile in general when I travel as I usually go solo. This time will be no different.

In regards to playing safe, I'm travelling to Cartagena for my first time in late April. I've already found myself appropriate accommodations based on this site. What I need is advice about which girls to choose when I'm there considering all the druggings. I'm not going to lie, I love to party hard and I'm already prepping myself to take it easy in this regard. Getting too drunk or high will leave me exposed. What about only asking girls to come back to my place from established clubs in the city? Is that a safer bet for me than bringing girls home from the clock tower or tinder? I know some of the beach vendors offer girls to some of the tourists, should I go that way and does it reduce my risk of getting drugged if I use these guys and the girls they know? This being my first time, I don't expect to get top quality because I literally have no contacts out there. I monger in some other countries and have regulars there I could call for good, affordable, and most of all safe fun. However I've put my work in with those places, multiple trips, multiple years, etc. I just want to approach this town as cautious as possible without being a prude. 1. No one can tel you which girls to choose and your type f girl is your personal pefrance.

2. You can get drunk and high all you want just make sure you trust the girl who is there with you won't fuck you over. (I've blacked out a few times with different girls and when I came to about 12 hours later they were right there with me and they didn't ask for a penny extra from the agreed price before I blacked out) those girls have earned my trust I always se ethem when I return and can always recommend them to others.

3. Established clubs don't matter. The girls there don't work for the clubs and are all just random girls. If a girl fucks you over you can't go back to the club and complain one of their girls fucked you over.

4. ClockTower is bottom of the barrel. Tinder is basically everyone, I've met girls in then club who also had tinder profiles. But in my 5 years of experience going to Colombia I can tell you that I had a way more natural experience with the Tinder ones that picking them up off the street. Matter a fact, my Tinder ones are usually BBFS and the ones from the Club or ClockTower are usually hard hat for the little guy.

5. If you want to pay a premium then by all means go with the vendors catalog. Just know that many other lazy mongers did as well and you can get the hotdog down the hallway feeling. (I've been there, its both fascinating and sad at the same time).

6. There is no "game". Leave your jordans, gold chains, all your bling, wife beaters, and Yankee fitteds at home. Game will get you got and you don't want to be another story on youtube about another Gringo ending up dead because he tried to run game or swag.

To sum it up, your risk is how stupid you want to be out there. If you want to go with the purpose of getting ass then they will see you coming and take full advantage because lets face it the majority of people always go to the same exact places, Clocktower after dark, Playa Hollywood during the day, then at night Space, Dolce and Delirium. The girls already know this and the take advantage, Once you get outside of these 5 place things become better.

Your choice. Either take the advice from others whose been there and made the mistakes or go in blind.

I don't think there's a safe way to monger in Cartagena right now. Even guys who live there are getting got.

1. If you are going to drink, do it in the clubs. And never leave it unattended. If you have your shot, take it there.

2. Never bring a muchacha back your place for the first time. Colombian women are shy, even the working ladies. If she offers to come to your place without having met you, it's a huge red flag. That's where you will be drugged. If you are going to meet a girl, take her to a short time hotel first to try her out. Hotel Mar Y Sol in Bocagrande (literally the only reason I go to Bocagrande anymore) is my favorite. Try her out a few times and if she behaves, then bring her back.

And you won't need contacts to get the best girls. You are not going to meet any full time working girls from Cartagena in Centro. These girls have families and word travels fast. The vast majority are Venezuelans or Colombians from other parts of the country, and they have no real network there.

If you want girls, don't use Tinder. The girls you see on Tinder will be in the clubs, Torre del Reloj, or the beaches in Bocagrande.

Pick your poison. Is fucking more important or is getting fucked up more important? You do not have to choose a chick in order to get drugged or robbed. You are the mark. Somebody can see you from far off and get you on gp. You do not want to be in a public space and not have your wits about you. Some chick drugging you is only part of a possible equation, while there are a myriad of other ways to get got.
