Nice pics Sylvester!, but why have you not posted field reports so people who have never been to lets say Cartagena, or have not been there for some time can gain some knowlege from your experiences for there future stays?. Same thing to the other destinations you have been to. Please share with the members of the ISG the places you have partied at, the places you stayed at, ate at, e.t.c. I am sure many will benefit from it, and will really appreciate your contributions. You have criticized many in your previous 70+ posts, without really contributing anything of value, so now continue to contribute with your pics and posts some field reports to go along with them.

By the way to future travelers to Cartagena and Laguito. Here is some good advice to you that I have not seen posted previously, if you want to meet some of the most beautiful girls during the day, go to the internet cafe in the afternoon that is located next to Prestos. Very nice quality girls both the p4p types, as well as some non-pros. Ask anyone in Laguito where Prestos is, and they will direct you to it.

You are speaking of Puntocom. I would prefer to hang out at the Israeli restaurant next door. You can sit at the tables outside and chat with any chicas that come by while having some food or drink. I used to hang at the Loco Gringo before it was sold.

Of course Riquissimo across the street is a great place to hang as well. You can see everyone coming and going. And the girls can see you.

Or I would bring a chair out from the building and sit in front of Playa Mar. Or have a meal at Julia's next door to Playa Mar.

All you really need to do in Laguito is hang around. The girls will find you. And you really don't need to go to the beach unless you want to.

And don't forget your building porteros(doormen). One time I got a call from one of my porteros around 2:00 pm. There were a couple of girls in the lobby who were looking for work. He thought that I might be able to provide some. I did. Several times I have been given phone numbers or introductions from the porteros. And they know that my standards are high.

Well after several trips to Brazil and Thailand I discovered this site. To my suprise much of the legwork that took me several trips to discover was conviently posted here. God knows how much time I would have saved if I only knew. Since from my personal Rio experience I was able to not only verify from memory I gained a little extra insight. (thanks)

So needless to save this site saved the day for me when I was in the mountains of Peru (and I mean SAVED), so I am turning to the board yet again.

I will be arriving in Cartagena on Oct 15 I have utilized Mr. Juan for the apartments as recommended and I am looking for any direct contacts for females who wanna spend a little time with a traveling american.

If you are staying in Laguito at or near the playa mar building you won't be lonely very long, they will find you!

You have made 70 reports, but not one actual field report to show you have been in Colombia, moreless in Cartagena, the Isla de Rosarios, or even in Colombia for that matter. Your 70 posts are consumed with criticizing others, asking questions, or posting information that you more than likely gained from reading other members reports here on the ISG.

My question is why have you not posted any field reports of your actual trip experiences in Colombia? I again just went back through your 70 posts, which are all about Colombia and the Dominican Republic, BUT NOT ONE TIME have you posted any first hand information. Your credibility my friend I am sorry to say is zero!

Those of us who have ACTUALLY BEEN TO COLOMBIA should recognize some landmarks and views of Laguito, El Centro, etc. Those of you who can read should be able to see what is written on the licence plate of the san andres buggy picture. Note that I am standing right next to vehicle. I drove around the entire island in 20 minutes.

As you will clearly see, your "FANSTASY THEORY" has ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY NO BASIS IN FACT!

You're not known yet, so getting direct contacts # probably won't happen. But here's some advice:

- if you're staying in laguito, hang outside your apartment late in the afternoon

- go to the beach around 5PM, especially around Tony's area in Playa Hollywood (read previous posts)

The ladies will find you!

Don't worry, you'll make contact by the chicas themselves or their front men (not pimps, just many guys willing to hook you up for a service charge from you or the chica).

Then there's always LDV, the centro clubs, and some of casas (though I've not been to those). No lack of supply, I assure you.

3. How safe is CTG? What is the culture towards african americans; although all my experiences with colombianas have been great?

I awaken with a couple of loose rocks in my head from the previous night's over-indulgence. A pot of coffee, a cold glass of water and 3 Advil provide relief and the necessary courage to open my eyelids beyond a squint.

A call to the Fraud Dept. To find out how many failed attempts on my ATM card will freeze me out and for how long, and to see if there is any other solution besides my remembering the correct PIN. Based on what I'm informed by the Rep. , absent me getting the number right within 4 tries, I'm going to have to see the Casino Manager each time I need more cash from my account.

I enjoy a delicious steak smothered in a tomato and onion paste and then topped with a couple of fried eggs at Riquizimo. My fragile memory seems to think they keep raising the price on this breakfast feature every couple of months. They keep adding a couple more thousand pesos on to their price every other month and I'll start cooking more back at the apartamento.

I head on down to la playa, Hollywood to be exact. Wow! Where are the touristas? Hey, except for the lack of bikinis, I think I like this sparse crowd. What, no Tony here yet? What, only a few vendores? Uh oh, you mean I have the upper hand in the negotions this trip? Ah yes, where's those fake Cubano cigars? I'll give you 25 mil for a box of 25 fellas and I want the fresca ones, ok.

Well, it's about time Tony showed-up. You know my gringo ass needs some a carpa or otherwise I'm gonna look like pink shrimp tomorrow. Ahhh, this is relaxing. A manicure, pedicure and massage from cute Diana, along with receiving a few lessons in Espanol on the side. I'm feeling great and she seems pleased to have a customer today. I pull out 25 mil pesos and don't even receive a hassle for more. Note to self, I like visiting in September. Note to self, I like Diana's non-aggressive approach. Hey Tony, did you take note that she didn't hassle me for more than I handed her?

Ok Tony, it's about time. Diana's gone and I'm getting lonely for some company. Any prospects today? Oh, you have just the one for me, huh? Flacco? Really? I'll be here.

Well, Tony shows up with two chicas and grabs a couple of extra chairs so they can join me under the carpa. One of the chicas is extremely attractive with a nice body. Neither come across as Miss Congeniality, but I do receive an occassional smile and laugh at my humor.

After confirming that they like whiskey, I break out the bourbon, pour four cups (you know Tony wants one) and "Salud". Let's loosen things up here a little, ok girls.

That's it for Day 2. Of course I'm ready for some action, but that's gonna have to wait until this evening. Dammit.

Tip of the day- order the plato del dia at riquissmo's. It is not on the menu and only costs 8K, usually soup, rice, beans, sald and either beef or pork, good filing mid day meal, without spending 30K on lunch. IMHO
