I awaken with a couple of loose rocks in my head from the previous night's over-indulgence. A pot of coffee, a cold glass of water and 3 Advil provide relief and the necessary courage to open my eyelids beyond a squint.

A call to the Fraud Dept. To find out how many failed attempts on my ATM card will freeze me out and for how long, and to see if there is any other solution besides my remembering the correct PIN. Based on what I'm informed by the Rep. , absent me getting the number right within 4 tries, I'm going to have to see the Casino Manager each time I need more cash from my account.

I enjoy a delicious steak smothered in a tomato and onion paste and then topped with a couple of fried eggs at Riquizimo. My fragile memory seems to think they keep raising the price on this breakfast feature every couple of months. They keep adding a couple more thousand pesos on to their price every other month and I'll start cooking more back at the apartamento.

I head on down to la playa, Hollywood to be exact. Wow! Where are the touristas? Hey, except for the lack of bikinis, I think I like this sparse crowd. What, no Tony here yet? What, only a few vendores? Uh oh, you mean I have the upper hand in the negotions this trip? Ah yes, where's those fake Cubano cigars? I'll give you 25 mil for a box of 25 fellas and I want the fresca ones, ok.

Well, it's about time Tony showed-up. You know my gringo ass needs some a carpa or otherwise I'm gonna look like pink shrimp tomorrow. Ahhh, this is relaxing. A manicure, pedicure and massage from cute Diana, along with receiving a few lessons in Espanol on the side. I'm feeling great and she seems pleased to have a customer today. I pull out 25 mil pesos and don't even receive a hassle for more. Note to self, I like visiting in September. Note to self, I like Diana's non-aggressive approach. Hey Tony, did you take note that she didn't hassle me for more than I handed her?

Ok Tony, it's about time. Diana's gone and I'm getting lonely for some company. Any prospects today? Oh, you have just the one for me, huh? Flacco? Really? I'll be here.

Well, Tony shows up with two chicas and grabs a couple of extra chairs so they can join me under the carpa. One of the chicas is extremely attractive with a nice body. Neither come across as Miss Congeniality, but I do receive an occassional smile and laugh at my humor.

After confirming that they like whiskey, I break out the bourbon, pour four cups (you know Tony wants one) and "Salud". Let's loosen things up here a little, ok girls.

That's it for Day 2. Of course I'm ready for some action, but that's gonna have to wait until this evening. Dammit.

Tip of the day- order the plato del dia at riquissmo's. It is not on the menu and only costs 8K, usually soup, rice, beans, sald and either beef or pork, good filing mid day meal, without spending 30K on lunch. IMHO

Another important question: anyone heard of anyone drugged with scopolamine in Cartagena or anywhere else for that matter? I guess you wouldn't remember if it happened to you? :)

Happened to a local guy I knew in Bogotá: left him in a pretty bad way.

The girls as my usual watering hole always made sure my drinks were safe when I was away from them.

Well, first time post here. Didn't even know about ISG until I stumbled upon it last month before my latest trip to Cartagena. Last month was my 5th trip to Carta since Oct. 2007, so it was kind of humorous to stumble upon this forum to find photos and reports about the chicas one runs into hangin' out in Laguito.

I'll be back in Carta this month for a week starting on the 22nd. All my trips except one have been sans wingman. I'm content doing my own thing, but would be open to sharing a cabana and a few cold ones en la playa. Let me know---I'll have a bottle of bourbon, ice and cups with me at the beach at least one day and would be happy to share a couple (as long as you're not the overbearing know-it-all type who is insists on continuously telling others what and how they should do things in Colombia).

Unless I already have a chica with me, I typically go visit Tony in Hollywood and joke around with him and his attempt to extract more propina than is necessary for a chair, beers, etc. In reading through this forum, I wasn't surprised to find that Tony isn't loved by all. While I joke around with him alot, his continuous attempts to add his self-determined propina to the price of your tab for the day does get a little annoying.

If I have a chica with me when heading to the beach, I prefer to just pay Fred a visit behind Playa Mar en Laguito. Less hassle all the way around, and I will already have the eye candy sitting next to me.

While dealing with Tony can be a hassle, especially if you aren't used to his ways, I've found that he does come up with a new gem every now and then. The chicas who have just arrived in town seem to utilize him for introductions to gringos as they learn their way around town.

Okay, on to my first report.

Day 1. Arrive late afternoon. Too late to go to la playa for scouting, so after unpacking in Laguito apartamento, I walk over to mini market for a couple bags of ice, etc. , in order to enjoy a bourbon or two with a smoke. Immediately run into several local SW's. One I know from previous trips has a new-to-me friend with her. Of course they'd love to come join me back in the apartamento for a couple of drinks and some fun.

I tell them to come pay me a visit in 30 minutes at my apartment. I want a few minutes to relax by myself after the flight and to be frank, I prefer not to be with the SW's walking up to the apartment building and checking-in with security. Just seems a little more appropriate to be a little discreet given that there are non-mongers who live in some of the apartments.

The two chicas show-up as scheduled and the three of us enjoy a couple of drinks out on the balcony. Of course they take turns in groping and playing with my manhood as we drink and carry on conversation. They are fun chicas who make me feel at ease and who know how to get me aroused and ready to rumble.

While I get complete action from both of them, it is not what I call a true threesome. I've had threesomes with bi-chicks where the three of you completely enjoy each other, but this wasn't the case with these two chicas. They completely attended to me, and while I was laying the wood to one, the other would find a spot on me to enhance my pleasure.

I get covered BJ from both, alternating back-n-forth between the two and between the family room and the bedroom. We then enjoy covered mish, doggie, cowgirl and scissors in the bedroom.

Neither price or time ever mentioned. We end up spending around 2 1/2 hours together and I hand the one that I've known from before 150 mil for the both of them. The one new to me writes down her phone number and I exchange a goodbye beso with each of them.

As they head out the door and into the hallway, I whisper to myself. Welcome back to Cartagena, LOL.

Evening 1: After showering-up and relaxing for a bit, I head down to Riquizimo's for some baby beef medium rare. I enjoy joking around with all the waiters there. They're good guys who enjoy the laughs and nodding to each other about an attractive chica sitting down or walking past.

Well, the pesos that I brought with me (I always take 200 mil pesos or so home with me each trip to have upon my next arrival, including small bills as they come in handy right off the bat for tipping the guy who helps with your bag) are running low so I head to La Perla Casino to hit the ATM.

I have a brand new ATM card from an internet bank in the States that doesn't charge any ATM or international transactions fees. Previously I had used my local bank card that charges a 3% fee on all international transactions. Much to my dismay, I can't seem to get my new card's PIN number right. I keep getting rejected for cash and I know that if I keep trying I will get locked out for the whole trip. A slight tinge of anxiety hits me as I think about the possibility of not being able to pull pesos from the ATM machine while in Cartagena. Not a pleasing prospect on your first evening when you had planned to mozy on over to LDV.

I end-up chatting with a few poker players and asking the Casino manager for some cash off of my ATM card since it always acts as a MasterCard. He balks at first when seeing that it says "debit card", but tries it anyway when I assure him that it will function the same as a MasterCard credit card.

He comes back with a slip of paper for me to sign and says "no problem". I sign off for 500 mil pesos. Expecting cash, he takes me to the cage and they give me casino chips. Well, they've done me a favor, so I guess I'll sit down to play a little to give them some action as a courtesy.

Well, to get to the point, a few hours and many whiskeys later, I've lost a couple hundered pesos and I'm pissed at myself for doing so, LOL. I've drank a little too much for the day of a flight and decide to call it a night. My punishment for dropping 200 mil at the casino is no LDV chica. I walk back to the apartamento a little ticked at myself and a little concerned about the prospect being able to pull cash from the ATM and having to get chips from the Casino Manager.

I lay my head down to call it a night. Day one started off with a bang within an hour of checking-in to my apartamento, but the first day's pleasures have been subdued by too much whiskey and my self-punishment for not memorizing my new ATM PIN.

Well, there's always tomoroow, or shall we say, Day 2.

Yes, it happens in Cartagena. But I lived there for 4 years and never got scoped.

Actually Cartagena does have seasons. But you are right its always HOT! There, its just a matter of HOT or HOT AND RAINY. It has been my observation that September thru mid November is the rainy season there.

Late November is the Miss Colombia pagent VERY CROWEDED indeed!

IMHO best time to hit CTG is just after the Miss Colombia, in early December. Girls are trying hard to earn extra christmas money!

For roughly the same price I think Avianca is a much better service than Spirit. Spirit is inferior in my opinion.

For me it's not "roughly the same price". I save around 500 dollars on my round trip. Have used them 4 times with no problems.
