Sorry but this is a funny letter I think all the letters in gringos emails say the same thing. 4 mounths ago my husband meet a person who is from usa and he show to us a email say the same thing from a girl name jennifer I remember that because was to funny. whatever you think but about every two months i enter the country and very seldom do i see another american do anything other than walk through. yes i know that some get screened but it is a very small percentage. i think it depends on if the officer got laid the night before. maybe i always get the ones who's wife's fuck the shit out of them the night before.

I, too, am an American citizen, born and bred. These fuckwads in ICE have a stick up their asses. My instances totalled 13 straight "secondary" searches in 2006, stateside before being allowed to "officially" enter the USA. I called out one asshole (he really was) directly in front of his supervisor one time, but dude was being a complete ass.

Then, I pulled out my official note from Washington DC, their end-all, be-all response to those pricks behind the glass. Basically stating national security bullshit, and apologies for the inconvenience, yada yada yada, but that I shouldn't be harrassed anymore. It was also notated in their system.

Haven't been bothered now going on 7+ international trips this year alone. Maybe I should knock on wood. It did take about 3-4 months, but resolved eventually. Score one for the American citizen who fights back, rather than take it up the ass.

I know it is much worse for our international friends. I apologize to you for the stupidity and rudeness of our immigration people. Please don't judge all of us by the way they treat you. We are not all "Ugly Americans."

Don't take it personal Katharin. The government bureaucrats believe that they have the right to be a jerk to anyone.

Well I read all the reports and one part of me say wow is god I'm glad this guys can see the real world, and other side of me say fuck this guys what I can say to thems theys just are talking shit or theys want to the people don't visit more Colombia (Cartagena) but guys I'm not are a prostitue but I know many because I love the musik electronik and in the disco where in Cartagena listen that musik is in the putas disco, and I am living in bocagrande the place where is the turist people. I understand some girls, why theys do that job, and sometimes you understand and you agree with thems.

Katherin I understand your frustration. I have been traveling internationally for 15 years and only one time ever have I been held up, maybe 30 minutes returing from Costa Rica. My travels have been to many suspect places too, Nigeria, Angola, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Colombia, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, ect. Unless a drug dog singles an American out returning less than .001% get held up. My wife is from Cartagena and the day she arrived in the United States she had a valid K-1 visa. Her flight arrived in Miami at 5:50 and she did not get through immigration until 1:00 a.m. Spent her first night in the United States sleeping in the fucking airport. US Customs and Immigration officers are required to take an advanced course in arrogance and unless they graduate witrh honors they become rent-a-cops.
