yes I agree the Hotel Del rey is truly a place that no one should ever miss. san jose is much much safer at night also. If you guys don't speak much Espanol, I highly suggest you go to Costa Rica rather than CTG. It's closer, the Del Rey is an experience not to be missed in your lifetime, and there's a lot more Ingles spoken there. In CTG, there's almost 0% Ingles spoken, among the chicas and most everyone else. There's also a lot more fun (relative term) non-monger activities in CR than CTG for you young pups, beaches, skin diving, volcanos, aerial trams in the jungle, ATV tours. CR is also safer outside of the cities.

In February they were doing a lot of renovations in tripletera. I thought they wanted to be more "upscale".
