Whats up guys, I don't normally post but am bored and thought this would be a good story. Mind you I speak no spanish and it was my first night in Cartegena with my boy Aybolit. After we went to a casa to celebrate our first night in Cartegena we went to LDV. I noticed a cute little chica from Baranquilla and told her friend who speaks 3 words of English to tell her friend that I liked her. With my como estas, and tu es bonita and after 5 beers we were dancing and she was rubbing up against me all night. I think I got more lap dances from her in those 3 hours than I did all my life. At 3a. M. We went to another non pro club in the old city. I thought I was gonna get hijacked because I had no clue where we were going, I couldn't even tell the taxi where to go. After that she dragged me to another club where all the ho's meet after LDV and sniff coke and party together. I was so horny that I started regreting not paying some chick to bang me and going with this crazy chick. Around 5a. M. I had my boy translate to her that I'm taking her home, and with her little be/S resistance I dragged her into the car and we went towards my hotel. In the taxi I started attacking her and grabing her and she started jumping on me, and jerking me off and squeezing my balls and penis, whatever her little hand could grab. The taxi guy was smilling and adjusting his mirror (No be/S) In the end I somehow ended up with her in my room and banged her a few times (No money, and no Spanish). She wasn't good but it was a good memory. Two days later she shows up at my hotel room door at 9A. M.

Thank god I wasn't with another chick. In the end I realized she was psycho, and when we did it I slapped her around a few times, and she smacked me back, I think she liked that rough stuff. Anyway my boy Aybolit decided he wanted to bang her, but I don't know if she wanted him or she was mad at me for not saying "I don't want you to go with him and stay with me" Anyway I told her it was her choice but didn't restrain her and as my boy was in my room trying to take her with him she jumped on me and dragged me into the bathroom and blew me on the spot. If she wasn't so crazy I would have chilled with her longer, but I let her go. She banged my boy, and I never saw her again. Welcome to Cartagena! I will never forget it.

Hey Beavis, there are a couple of guys on the CRT board with their panties all bunched up because we are making remarks about Tony Lama Butch. Tony lama Butch is still an idol to the CRT ( costa rica ticas) crowd.

I was the one at CRT that first made a comment about the loss of TLButch because there won't be another Delrey in CTG, noting that there was a lot of schadenfreude going on here. It seems that TLB represents the loud, Hawaiian shirt, shorts, sandals, overweight crowd that can be seen at the DR. Here's my latest:

uhh...do you have a single clue as to what schadenfreude means? If you had went over to ISG and had read the posts, the mongers there were equally delighted (actually much more so, and much more crudely so) that there won't be another Del Rey in CTG.

Let them whine all they want to. It isn't our fault that they are obnoxious and haven't a clue how to behave in another country. I still wish a couple of these loudmouth assholes would go to Colombia and wind up with an ass whipping like they deserve. I think it would be great if they found Tony lama Butch butt naked on the beach, tied up and gaged, bleeding from the asshole after he had been repeatedly butt fucked by a gang of rebels that didn't like his attitude towards their country. I think that would make a great headline for any newspaper.

Rumor was there was a restriction on how high he could build from his lot in Laguito, but I do not know. It seems this sort of thing would have been understood ahead of buying the land.

I hope this means the Perro Hawaino stand is coming back. I think that got nuked when that lot was sold.

Can anyone tell me the better places to stay in Cartagena?
Laguito will suit you. It's a safe part of town.

I will be making my first trip to Cartagena later this month. Would like to stay in an area that is relatively safe, where there are a good amount of non-pro and good looking females. Does anyone have any advice?
The answer depends on who you are - here are some reports from a guy in his 20's, a guy in his '30's' and a guy in his 50's. They all have different backgrounds and had different experiences.

20s & 30s
Atlantas Finest's posts are a couple of years old, but are some of the best written on the scene from a young guy who mixed pro and non-pro in Cartagena. He is in his twenties, knows Spanish and so forth - he has almost everything a guy needs to work the beachs of Bocogrande and Laguito. Here are his reports:

Black Page is a stand-up guy for posting the report below. He's got 10 years on Atlanta's Finest, but still worked the beaches. But I believe there's a cautionary tale here. It does not make sense to me that a person would give 170.000 to a "non-pro" for a two-hour session off the beach. I have sat on the beach and watched girls go from being "non-pro" to being "pro" with a shift of the eye. I remember a conversation with a pro I met last year in LDV. She had grown attached to me. She lamented "I wish we had just met on the beach, everthing would be different." At any rate, BP's beach girl got a lot of money and BP walked away very content, so it was a happy ending for all involved:

What kind of things are there to do in Cartagena?
This is a big question and depends on who you are and what sort of things you enjoy.

Cartagena is a classic Spanish colonial city. If you spring for a guide book it should give you a complete idea of the standard tourist venues.

Personally, it's a fantastic location for kiteboarding between January and March.

Holy week starts on Palm Sunday. There are two official holidays between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday, Holy Thursday and Good Friday. The date for Easter Sunday changes from year to year, it is the first Sunday, after the first full moon of spring. In 2008, Easter will be March 23. In 2009, Easter will be April 12.
