Day two at Ermita. Sat and Sun I explored downtown, DV, Delirium, and Watch tower. Talent that was most my style (young spinners) were walking around near the clock tower. Day one at Ermita was smooth bringing back a cutie, no one at the front desk and just breezed through.

But. I just brought back a Venezuelan chica on day two and the guy at the front copied her docs and had her sign a paper, AND then charged me 380.000. WTF that cost way more than the chica! Anybody have any ideas what's going on here and how to get out of this? There's no way I can pay that for each visitor I bring back. This forum says clearly it's allowed and so does the questions on booking. Any ideas on what to do?

This is the new mentality in Sosua which has been completely destroyed. Just walk into Rumbas on the strip.

The Colombians won't sell out and don't want the urban vibe BS. The Dominicans sold out.

If reports of violence in Centro start popping up the Colombians will start enforcing new rules.

I spent 8 days in Cartagena before flying to Dominican Republic back in September.

Upon arrival to Centro I noticed packs of the younger hip / hop crowd from the States drawing alot of attention to themselves and making alot of mistakes.

I've been mongering for 20 years throughout the Caribbean and have some experience which I can share if interested.

1) Respect the Colombian culture. Cognac, oxtails and the Lakers should be left home in the USA.

2) Learn some Spanish. Hola and cuanto don't cut it here as almost no-one speaks English.

3) Monger independently or with 1 wingman not in packs.

4) Blend in as much as possible and dress simply with tee / polo shirt, jeans and sneakers. The black hats, black shirts, black shorts, black socks and flip flops are a mistake IMHO.

3) Negotiate and execute the terms accordingly and remember the the clock starts ticking once she arrives. If you bought her dinner or drinks that's not part of the agreed upon price. Most of these.

These girls can be very slick so watch them. The last thing you want is a confrontation over money unfortunately everyone on this board has experienced this and it requires quick thinking.

4) Pay the girls inside the apartment not in the hallway, lobby or especially not in front of the building. Bring them in quietly and get them out quietly.

5) don't hang out in front of the Clubs taking pictures of yourself with 6 girls hanging on you for your Facebook page nobody cares.

6) The Colombian policeman standing on the corner near the Club is watching you closely and looking to cash in on anyone smoking cannabis, fighting, urinating in public ect.

7) Collecting 200 telephone numbers for Whats app is useless. Get 15 numbers of girls who provide great service and with whom you are comfortable with and continue to build the book over time.

8) don't hang out with the girls using Cocaine regardless of how much fun they are -- watch the nose and the rolling jaw side effects.

You got good points but they are too busy trying to get attention to care.

I had a trio of brothers who decide to have the loudest aggressive conversation ever, while eating breakfast. It was so bad the people who looked like they were from Germany started getting nervous turning and looking at my table with a face of fear like a fight is going to break out the only thing I could say was "that's how they are in the hood, it's normal" one of them decided to have a full phone conversation on speakerphone, everyone knew his whole convo cause he there yelling into the phone.

Thursday at Dolce I was walking by and a whole team of brothers 12 came walking out each pulling out girls, then they stood infront of the club yelling at each other then started yelling at cabs. It was funny to watch at first, then about 10 who looked like they from the Middle East came out and did the same shit. That hip hop "I need attention" mentally is sad.

My chica is starting to understand why I avoid Centro Thursday-Saturday.

Del Marina is VIP type club about 20 minutes from Cartagena.

When you enter you will patted down by security then proceed to a small indoor pool bar area where appx 15 girls will come over and introduce themselves to you.

They are all available but extracurricular activities are conducted on the premises in the upstairs bedrooms. These girls are not independent and work for Del Marino.

Most of the girls are Venezuelan and live in small rooms upstairs -- Everything is way overpriced and all employees are expecting tips. IMHO its nothing great.

What's a good short term hotel close to the clock tower. My hotel is being a pain in the butt about guests. I can only have 1 register guest. Meaning I can't bring different girls in daily. I found 1 or 2 short term ones but they were all charging 200 K for an hour.

The ones in JFK kills me every time. Straight loud mouths with "all eyes on me" attention seeking syndrome. I'm starting to think allot of them have hearing problems because the whole terminal can hear their conversations and they won't shut up.

It's quite entertaining to watch but get annoying when I have to constantly tell locals that I am not with them.

a day trips (pasadas) to Punta Arenas, Baru, or Islas del Rosario. They include round trip boat rides from Muelle de Bodeguita. Some are high end, but most are very affordable and include lunch. I've done this a few times and the chicas get really impressed.

Touts know exactly what time the day boat trips arrive and touts and vendors are there in flocks to annoy, sell you stuff you do not want or need, because the "are working" and "its not your country" and disturb you.

Been there done that, will never do that again!

Elevators still messed up?

I was there in March and was not a good stay as me usual, I was on the 16th floor and only 1 elevator worked, 1 was under renovation and the other was out of service. There was always a line no matter what time we came in. Then the roach problem because there was construction happening all day.

Roaches were coming out the electrical sockets and always in the bathroom. My chicas loved the view of the lake so we mostly just stayed on the balcony and drank and played games most of the night and had good sunsets.

Yup for Poseidon- elevators still a huge problem, even though two of the 3 were working this time. But that's the only problem we ever have there and just suck it up. We stay on the 21st top floor 5 br penthouse with panoramic balcony- it's so sick. No roach issues and never ever had visitor issues in 5 years, always signing in 4-5 different chicas each and every night.
