Here are a few pix from the aquarium. The dolphin finished his moonwalk dance right in front of me, with a humongous bellyflop, which soaked me (but that's ok, it's freakin' hot there). So camera bearers, beware of those nefarious dolphins. Unfortunately, I can't show a pic of my chica, she made me promise, no internet fotos.

I agree this is a great excursion to take with a non-pro. Back in 2005, I took a regular girl from Sucre there, and we had a great time. Price was COP 50,000, if I remember correctly, plus a COP 9000 or so National Park entrance fee (since Islas del Rosario is a Natural Coral sanctuary). The total price includes a free lunch on one of the islands. Entrance to the aquarium was extra, COP 12,000 or so, I think. Definitely worth it: especially the shark-feeding show was eery. Of course, nothing to rival Marine World, but pretty nice, anyway, with giant sea turtles, sting rays, dolphins, of course, and all types of tropical fish. Overall, at a cost of roughly USD 35.00, an inexpensive way to spend a day away from Cartagena. The views of Cartagena from the water are very nice, too.

I took a cute Bogotona to the Rosario Islands and had a great time - so did she. Being an landlubber, she was pretty excited about being on the 'Miami Vice' fast-boat to the islands - she was thrilled, but when the boat took some serious air, the look on her face was priceless.

So I agree, find a chica who has not 'been there and done that'.

BTW, speaking of fast-boats, if you or your chica happen to have back problems, you may want to consider the larger, slow boat to the islands if the seas are choppy that day. When the boat take air, they come down in the water like hitting cement, and it can be pretty nasty on one's lower back.

Some girls seem to have a thing for dolphins, but my impression is a lot of the more popular girls in Cartagena have already been there. So, if you can find a girl(s) who has not been there, you are better off. You'll get better value if it's her first time there or, maybe, if her eyes really light up at the idea.

I took a regular non-working girl (professional chemist). She loved the ride, and was absolutely blown away by the aquarium. I don't believe that she had ever seen any of these animals before.

The aquarium is obviously a big thing in Colombia, but it is extremely rinky dink by our standards, as you can see from these photos. I can't imagine her reaction if she ever gets to visit Sea World!

We spent the rest of the day sucking down drinks at the beach.

Funny thing. Once when I went to the bathroom, I came back to find her looking at the photos on my camera. She accused me of being with putas.

I admitted that is the very reason I came to Colombia. She threw a tantrum, screaming and crying and telling me that I was just like the Colombian men. Then she stormed out of the apartment, vowing never to see me again.

Fifteen minutes later, there was a knock at the door. She wanted back inside. It was never mentioned again.

That was two years ago, and she still emails and even calls sometimes...

When the chica says she is a paisa, ask her if she has ever worked at Mayorista or knows about Mayorista.The chicas there charge 20,000 (twenty thousand) pesos for 1/2 hour. If she does not know about Mayorista, ask her if she knows where Mangos is and tell her Mayorista is 10 minutes from there.

So the "paisa" at LDV wants 200,000 pesos for short time and you tell her that you pay the paisas at Mayorista 20,000. You can bargain from there. :-)

Also just because you can not reach an agreement one night, does not mean that you can not work sometime out another. I was at a casa in Cartagena and the chica asked for 150,000 pesos for a hour at the casa plus the room fee. I thanked her for the kind offer, said no, and walked out and went to another casa. The next time I returned to that casa, she told me 30,000 pesos for a hour.

Remember that it is a game. Play the game.

The thing about this kind of trip is, in my opinion, you have two goals that are in a small conflict. That is, a trip to the islands is a great thing if you are trying to get more of a GFE experience out of a single girl, but if you take two (or more) girls it's hard to pull off the GFE. There's no illusion that you are a couple. From reading Zidaho's reports, it's sounds like there was some difficulty managing a couple of girls for a few days i.e. they spent time on thier phones, working other opportunities.

Still, I've heard stories about a guy who was juggling three chicks in Cartagena for a number of days. It sounds like one of the best ways to work three girls is to spend a good chunk of time shopping.

Me and my buddy took a chica each to the Islands for a day cruise. It was cool and the chicas seemed to like it.

Correction:

Her husband, many of you know. He was extremely upset that she continued to work at LDV when he was away. He did not want her working at LDV. It was a lie. I received a phone call from him a month ago and he is in the US trying to find out about an annulment or a divorce.

She wanted him to support her and her sister and her sister's 4 kids. When he refused to support her sister and her sister's 4 kids, she got angry at him and he finally gave up on her.

She is lying to say that he wanted her to work at LDV.

Another case of captain-save-a-ho gone bad. These putas take kindness for weakness. The more you do for them, the more they ask for, and the less they appreciate it. These putas have no concept of common sense. The only thing they understand is money and creative ways to separate you from it.

Some of these mongers have forgotten the golden rule which is: HE WHO HAS THE GOLD MAKES THE RULES. Dont import these putas, dont marry these putas, that gives them too much power. Rent em and forget em
