BTW following forum advice, I got a CS ATM card. It was easy to sign up and open a checking account that comes with the Debit card. One lesson I just learned is after you open the account you have to make any sized deposit into the account *before* they will send you the card. It didn't say that anywhere in the sign-up process. I found out when it didn't show up in a week after I opened the account and a called in to find out why.

The average price is 150,000 Colombian Pesos (currently equivalent to $37.50 USD) up to 200,000 Colombian Pesos for a real pretty one. Then occasionally there are more gorgeous ones who have a repuation for excellent service that charge more than that but they are the exception.

Negotiate Negotiate Negotiate. And be prepared to move on to another chica if they keep trying to bullshit you. They either want to work or they are trying hustle you. If she is already trying to hustle you I would just about guarantee the service is going to be crap anyway. She is going to do the least she can to get that money.

I never discuss pricing until I'm in town and ready to make a date. Whatever price you're quoted is subject to change. I also won't discuss anything in dollars. If some girl in Medellin quoted me $600 I would tell her to call when she's in the US and I might consider that price.

I do something others will tell you not to do. I ask them how much. Cuanto quieres por un rato? How much do you want for a little while? If they respond with a price higher than I want to pay, I respond siempre pago along with my price. In most cases they either accept or might ask for a bit more for taxi. If she won't commit to a price I'll say the same thing with my price. Siempre pago 200 mil. Está bien? I always pay 200 k. Is that okay?

Many people have already posted that the normal FB price is 150/200 K COP for one or two hours. If any chica wants more than 250 K, you should forget her because almost surely you will be disappointed in her performance.

I have had very good success not discussing what I want before meeting in person. I only discuss price before meeting. I think most of the chicas decide what they will do after meeting you. If you're a dick, that's probably how they will treat you and do the minimum necessary to get your money and go. If you treat her well, and she still doesn't do what you want, you've only spent about $60.

Maybe Philly Steaks Medellin (Cra. 43B #8-51). I have never been there but on Facebook a couple of months ago they said they have American football on TV.

Make sure you have something good to do during the day. It's a big city and feels like it.

I live in New York for a long time so the last thing I want to do is go to a big ioty.

But the night scene by the park is excellent, and there are a lot of restaurants. Coffee shops it's a great little area actually.
