I could see from many earlier post, El Poblado, seems to be the recommended location to stay.

My aim is to check all action in Medellin, and I speak only English. Is that the place I should look for accommodation?

Planned dates are from 14th June to 22nd June.

They invite women over daily (4-8 daily) to hang out on the property. There is an outdoor pool area where they hang out during the day and then in the indoor bar after dark. The price is pretty much set at 150,000 pesos (52). Some will ask for 200 k ( 70). This is for a short-time session. If you want a woman stay all night, it'll be 300,000-400,000.

You won't need Spanish as the staff speaks English. The women don't, but you don't need to speak Spanish to have a good time there, or anywhere in Colombia for that matter. You can use google translate. Speaking at least some Spanish helps you have a better time but plenty of guys don't speak more than 3 words and do ok.

The other guests may put together trip to the downtown massage places, maybe you can tag along. Ask the receptionist, she may be able to help coordinate it.

You're going to check all the action in Medellin in 8 days and you only speak English? I admire your optimism. You're going to need to hit 11 or 12 different casas, massages and clubs each day, work in 15 to 20 escorts and street walkers each day and find time for another 10 or so from the various ads and social media options.

With that schedule it doesn't matter where you stay because you have no time to sleep, shower or eat.

However, if you come up with a better plan, Poblado is probably the best place to stay. At least you will probably be safe there and should be able to find people speaking English.

Your best option is to stay at the Mansion. Barring that, do lots and lots of research and start studying Spanish.

Yes, I have done the trip and it is well worth it. I can't recall the lines I took, but it's on the metro map. You do have to get off the train and take one of the Metrocables to Santo Domingo at the terminus of Line K. You pay another fee to catch this metrocable to the park. The ride up is worth the price, as it is rather long and you get a nice view as you ascend up the mountain and over its crest. There are minimal facilities up at the top, and I don't recall any souvenirs of note. I think there is a restaurant nearby and I saw a food stand on the side on the road, going down the hill.

Note, If you take a girl with you and you are in the car alone you will have enough time, maybe 20 minutes for a quickie. I tried to do that on way back with the Canadian tourist woman I met, but a Chinese tourist popped into our car at the last minute as we departed and we rode back down in silence. Prior to that, a young, local couple declined to share the ride down with us, possibly hoping to get a car alone and do the same thing I had in mind.

Not to incite any fear, but I would be reluctant to wander around the Santo Domingo stop. I read an account of tourists being robbed while exploring the very poor neighborhood. We stopped and got some slices of fruit from a street vendor near the Santo Domingo stop, but didn't stray far. We stood out like sore thumbs in an impoverished area. After that, we went back to La 70. I told Miss Canada I needed to take a nap because I didn't sleep well the previous night, and we could meet up later in the evening. I pretended to head back to my hotel, but actually, I went to Centro to check out the street action at dusk.

Yes, it's worth the trip. Monday is closed and Tuesdays before major holidays is also closed for maintenance. There are few souvenirs and food is available. Looked safe to me. Since you are in good shape, you can take longer walks there, and don't forget about elevation.

Just returned from Medellin. Beautiful city and beautiful women.

We had a nice airbnb around Calle 10 a that I'd highly recommend (you can pm me for info on that) and both brought girls back for a decent price (their 200 k asking price dropped quickly with negotiation).

It's good to have two or three maps if you are new to the area. With a few googlemaps screencaps you can locate your way quickly. There's a kmz file too but jpgs travel well.
