There is a number of very common nasty diseases, which are transmitted via BBFS way more easily than HIV. The list includes, among the others, syphilis (spreading again worldwide, not only in the 3rd World), hepatitis B (I am vaccinated, but there are also C, D, E, F, ... for which there is no vaccine neither an effective therapy), herpes, and of course the classic gonorrhea, various fungal infections, etc.

The Medellin thread is almost becoming the FB thread with so many FB posts. Nothing wrong with the posts, but Medellin has gotten so popular over the years with thousands of posts that it's about time they broke it up a little bit, like how threads are broken up as an example for Tijuana, Mexico or say Bangkok, Thailand. They did recently add a stupid shit thread to Medellin so what would be the big deal in doing this?

I see a benefit to all members by doing this, but most posters don't appear to think it's necessary. Anyone else agree?

I am not the Spanish expert here, but "Dale" is from the verb Dar which is to give. So what "Dale" means is basically, "bring it on or give it to me" if that makes sense. Perhaps somebody else on this board can better explain this than me.

I appreciate you having posted all these chicas links. I haven't really gone down the Facebook route, but I had a good look at a lot of their pages. Firstly, many of them aren't showing friends, and many of those that do have a typical list of friends (ie it's their genuine account), ie family, male and female friends etc. So if you start messaging to random decent looking women you may well be barking up the wrong tree! "Dale" or for pronunciation purposes "the LE" literally means "give it. " It's commonly used in place of "okay."

"Listo" means "I'm ready" and is also used to say "okay."

"Mor", which may confuse some guys is the Medellin chica version of "amor. " The prepagos use "mor" like it's Frank's Red Hot sauce. They put that shit in everything.

So I have been researching the forum and read as much as I can before go to Colombia. I have about 2 and half weeks vacation so I am thinking hitting all 3 popular cities, Medellin, Bogota, and Cartagena. I was wondering if our veteran members can give me a few pointers as to where I should go first, med or bog, and if Cartegena is worth a visit or just med and bog for now. Also, is it worth it to prebook Airbnb or just get hotel when I land? I will be traveling in early Jan.
