I signed up for a 7-day trial of Seeking Arrangement yesterday. My blurb is not working there. I have had zero response in 12 hours. I sent it to about 20 chicas.

I had to work and experiment with my profile several times before I started to get lots of responses. I still get responses now even though I'm back home and even though I removed all the Spanish language stuff. However, I do list Medellin as a secondary location. The main thing I learned was to be subtle. Think of the site as a dating site. Most chicas know what the deal is but they need to be finessed more so than in the US, though the same thing applies in the US. Some guys / most guys don't want to play this game and it can be time consuming. But I found it to be worth it, though not financially. Normandia is hella noisy. Think about the daytime car traffic and the nightime foot traffic plus music from the stip clubs. I'd rather sacrifice the $20/ day, even though it's not much fun listening to the wannabe bus dispatcher yelling aeropuerto! 12 hours a day.

Yeah I learned my lesson my 1st time at the Botero, tell them you want the highest floor available (preferably 14) and the West side of the building which is cooler in the morning and away from the bus yelling idiot. On Tinder you are competing against several other matches. So they will take the best offer. So I was just seeing if my little blurb would work and stupidly didn't stop. The blurb is working. Since I wrote the previous post 4 more sent their whatsapp. I think it is Friday and the girls want to party and make a little money on the side. And this idiot is sitting in California playing with computer apps. All the new ones accepted 180 k. 8 out of 10. I think 180 k is a very good price point in Medellin. And I imagine when I start asking for availability next Wednesday 2 or 3 will be around. So maybe all is not lost but not best use of time.

One thing that I forgot to mention is that I am matching with very average chicas playing this Tinder game. The kind of girls that you could find in any of the 50 casas that I know about in the city. The only thing about the casas is that from my limited experience it is hit or miss whether you get GFE. Hopefully the blurb is screening the non-GFE girls out.

I am not matching with any of the really top looking girls on Tinder. If you are seeking optics, Tinder is not really a good solution for fat guys in their late sixties. Yes I know lookers are sometimes not the best in bed. I plan to experiment with an agency to find lookers. I had a friend who did well at La Isla but that was a 600 k peso night for take out.

I don't know, seems like a more then 50% increase is a lot to me with out a remodel. I'd be happier if it was 10-20%.

The only difference I can tell is they now throw in a free breakfast which isn't much for a 44,000 peso increase.

It puts you a bit further from the action, but you might look into Hotel Paradise Center. It's half a block away from the Bicentenario Tranvia metro station and right around the corner from Mercado del Tranvia, which is a smaller version of Mercado del Rio, a collection of trendy restaurants. The Tranvia line drops you at the San Antonio station. The area the hotel is in is one of the best in El Centro and the rates go from $15 for a single bed to $20 for 2 doubles and a Jacuzzi tub. It's cash only, so you can probably get it for less in person.

Never been to the hotel, but walked and rode past it several times. A few blocks up the hill is a collection of discos and there are lots of small restaurants nearby.

Gentlemen,

Your collective inputs have been so helpful but I really need some more guidance before heading out. Believe me, I have read the forum for the past two years preparing for this trip. Now it looks like I'm finally going. I know the Medellin forum in and out but some clarification from you veterans is needed.

1. It appears that condos will all have front desk staff. Are they cool about girls coming in? I mean, one girl a day is a bare minimum. Will I get a visit from the owner of the apt telling me to slow down, or worse, get out? I know that security is there for my safety but I'd rather not have those long stares and daily reports to the owner.

2. It appears from your reports that the scene is primarily a 'casa' one, in that you enter a place, get shown a line up and so on. Basically it is similar to Europe (Prague, Budapest) and massage scene in North America. Please note that I'm not whining, but as a matter of choice it is not my favorite scene. Just like some of my preferred methods would not be to your liking. I don't like to stand in line with other punters in a small apartment, holding our wieners. I like brothel strip joints like in Tijuana, I would choose brothel strip joints in Prague over apartments if I go there. Therefore that White Mansion (in MDE will be just fine and I don't mind heading to centro to check out the SWs.

3. This is basically a continuation of #2. This might be where I'm totally wrong. From your reports there appears to be a clear delineation between working girls and others. What I mean is that I should not approach every female like I do in Cuba or like guys do in Sosua and around Copacabana? So virtually there's no semi pro scene (Sosua semi pro haha) unless you dig them up on social media?

I'll elaborate on Havana: I know that many veterans of this site decry the state of that city but I respectfully disagree. You are able to have sex there 3 times a day with different ladies and you don't need to own a phone to arrange those dates. Perhaps what those senior members mean is that before they were able to do it 10 times a day and I might agree with that assessment but I just started the hobby and believe me what you are able to pull in HAV is enough for me. For instance, 2 Havana veterans going to MDE returned saying it's dead. Although they don't speak a word of Spanish and they do stick out as stereotypical gringos. They are also older and don't use online resources such as this one. But they were genuinely surprised at my assertion that all the good guys on this site said MDE was a motherload. Yes, the effort is required in Cuba but you could also just stand on a busy corner and start talking to everyone. The MDE monger I was with in Havana was amazed that I could do that. He said not to come at girls in Colombia this way. Of course I don't mind striking friendly conversations with rich paisas and buy them a dinner with no strings attached but is there any chance of "closing the P4P deal" with working class and middle class girls?

4. 180 K /$60 seems to be the going / median rate based on the info below or is it considered appropriate only for high end talent? My attentive reading tells me they are real germaphobes when it comes to BBBJ, so that is out of q? They are down for GFE but based on your reports I can tell that Cubans are much wilder. No one in Cuba lets you in the back door but most will take CIM and obviously BBBJ is non negotiable.

To close, I want to reiterate that my aversion to casas is not due to arrogance. Shyness is what it is. This is not me complaining about things I don't want to adjust to, I simply would like to know if MDE is flexible to my liking or very rigid (I. I'm willing to put in work and walk miles, hence my hunt for semis and long convos with cubanas and I also don't mind the fish in the barrel deal, hence the SWs and brothels. Apartments are just not my bag.

If the Botero keeps their price at $36 (was $26 the 4 times I stayed there in the last year) I will try the Normandia at $18 a night, it's like 2 doors down from Barra Ejectiva and Maricaibo strip clubs which is nice and convenient, I bet I can talk them into to free take out since it is so close. I will miss the mini-fridge at the Botero but I guess I can get a cooler and ice.

I have said it before but I will try to put it in layman's terms this time. Call down to the Toyota dealership and tell them you are looking for a new Camry and you want to buy it on the 18th of next month. They will tell you $25000. Tell them that you want the premium sound system, rustproof package, and extended warranty included. They will tell you no way.

Tomorrow go down to the Toyota dealership with a cashier's check for $23000. Tell them you want the new Camry with the premium sound system, rustproof package, and extended warranty. Then drive away in a new car.

You hammer out deals when you are on the spot ready to make the purchase, not the month before you are expecting to win the lottery. (As you already know from doing it in the FKK.).

In 2 days I have accumulated 5 phone numbers. 2 of the 5 will not do accept 180 k. One asked for 250 k and the other 300 K. It is the BBBJ and 69 to which they object. I would try to find a better deal or get girls to show up earlier in the day. I can't remember how much it is but Botero hotel collects a fee for overnight guests. It isn't much. I think it is probably the difference between the single (sencillo) rate and the double occupancy rate.

Well if you book a room for 2 they don't. One night guy did try to put the squeeze on me for some extra but I told him talk to the day manager, I paid for a room for two.

I did tip him once cause the door is locked after like midnight I think and he has to come let you in and I didn't want him dragging his feet, Centro is nowhere to loiter at 2 am on the street. LOL.

$119k isn't a crazy big increase but we would be better off without it. LOL! The dollar is creeping back above 3 K so that should help a bit. Let's blame it on Duque.

Medellin. Pretty much the same all year, although less rain this time of year. Highs in the 80's. Lows in the 60's. Sun is hot, because of proximity to the equator. Low humidity.

Cartagena. Hot. Highs in the upper 80's, but the humidity makes it feel hotter. Reminds me of home here in Florida. A little more likely to have some rain during the day, but it rarely lasts.

San Andres. Hot and humid, but there is almost always a good breeze, since it's an island. It can be very rainy there, but this time of year I have found the rain to be less frequent (or at least not lasting as long).

I'm new on this forum and I'm from Europe, I plan to visit Colombia (Medellin, Cartahena, San Andres), please help with information about weather at the moment, I'm not found so much trust information. Mongering is one of main wishes for this holiday. Sorry if I write in wrong place.

So is there a hotel that is relatively cheap (less than $60 a night), that is clean / comfortable, is in a safe area, and doesn't have a chica fee or a low chica fee? Hotel botero hits 3/4 with the exception being that its in not such a great area. I know its perfectly safe if your cautious but I still feel a bit uncomfortable with the area especially with my rudimentary spanish.

Well what's nice about the Botero out of hotels in Centro is you have to make it 150 ft from the airport bus with your luggage to the hotel, 650 ft to the strip club brothels Maracaibo and Barra Ejectiva and 700 ft to Conejitas, not a lot of exposure.

And in the daytime it's 1,400 ft to the VeraCruz redlight block and 1,415 ft to the Raudal redlight block. (I don't recommend cruising those at night, the Raudal block is a little rough looking even in the day) Also only 180 ft to a indoor ATM (Nutribara has a back entrance and 2 24 HR ATMs) and 290 ft to 24 HR food at BrasePan and 400 ft to a grocery store. (Tiendas D1).
