I would also suppose it depends on your definition of getting "clipped" - the prices of the drinks alone in Gustos is highway robbery. A person can walk down the street and get a beer at a different bar for half and a cheap person like myself will just visit the liquor store Mercalleras next door and pay a fraction of the price and then go drink it in the park. Just as much eye candy and if there is a hottie SW walking around the park its about a third of the price to take her home.

I was in Gusto last Saturday. There were more girls than guys. Asked average looking girl who was sitting next to me if she could go for an hour. She said she would for $150 and $250 for whole night.

Didn't even bother to continue conversation. Even SW in that area, asking price is min 250 pesos.

In my experience the best places are casas. If you make couple trips casas, definitively you would find better looking girls as I did.

Fantasasia Energy is a tourist trap. Went there 3 times knowing that it was bad but hoping to see better service and good attitude / looking girl. Three times got disappointed.

I believe the price was 160 k for 1 hour last November at Energy. I've usually had good luck there, but I pick about 85% based on the girls attitude and personality. Picking the hottest girl is a sucker's bet. She's the one who gets all the customers, so she doesn't have to worry about performance and attitude.

The mistake some make is to send a message and expect the girl to show up on short notice. I normally will hit up the girl I want sometime late afternoon. I'll find out if she's available and when she can get to my place. If she says 7 pm, I'll expect her around 7:30.

If you're planning on returning regularly to Medellin I don't recommend booking multiple girls for the same time. If more than 1 shows up, you can have problems. If 1 or more is already in a taxi when you start cancelling, the word will spread about you and you'll have trouble getting anyone to come over.

I'm glad you liked my post bro. I was there over the last cpl months in September and October. Unfortunately I won't be there while your there because I have work obligations, but I plan on coming back in December or January. Best times to go to Centro are between 4 pm to 8 pm. And Saturdays tends to have the highest amount of chicas whereas Sundays were the slowest days. I stayed at Hotel Calle Real on calle 51 (near the church) while I was there this last time. Gusto is what it is, just as the Mansion is what it is. Each is great for some people and terrible for others. It's the same with El Centro. There are guys who shouldn't go there, others thrive on it.

Can someone explain to me the accessibility of La Isla? Google map searches place it on a curved street north of Avenida Las Palmas, and you cannot see it from the street view. The question I have is: you need taxis to and from due to its location?

Numero 1 - learn some freaking phrases, aka communications skills, to get you by. If you are in Medellin, Rio, Pattaya, CR, DR, who cares? It is all the same. The more you can communicate and read the chica, the easier it is on you and her. The GFE probability will increase with your communications skills.

Numero 2 - RTM. Forums, websites, ask other mongers, ask the chicas. There are thousands of ways to get information. Some guys do not listen, read or follow advice. They will always overpay and will never reach that true GFE. There is nothing that you or I can do about them. The chicas recognized them and played them. It is pure capitalism.

Too high for you, and it sours it, too low for her, and you will not get the full GFE. Continuously pursue the sweet spot where you are happy, and she is too.

Numero 4: Be a romantic, a poet. It does not cost anything, but the payoff is enormous. For example, cojer or chingar are good ways to ask girls to bed. For me, while I'm asking them for their number, I test the number by sending a "Te Deseo" to her number. It provides all the information she needs to let her know that you are taking her to bed. No matter how high priced (overpriced for most of us) their services may be, they cannot be said to be "clipping"their clients, unless they play games once they arrive in one's apartment or hotel--for example, the lady doesn't provide the services explicitly agreed to (DFK, BBBJ) or she jumps abriuptly out of bed after one pop and starts getting dressed, or demands extra money for no reason.

A bar is not a clip joint unless actually misleading and cheating its customers (e. G. Watering down its drinks). In my long-ago hitch-hiking youth I encountered some truly classic clip joints, especially in North Africa--places where a bar girl, if invited to your table, would order a champagne cocktail (in Arabic), and, if you didn't ask the price up front, on getting your bill would be presented with a humongous charge ($50, even $ 75 in 1965 dollars) with a comparably priced menu to defend the charge.

I think I can agree with you on that. It is actually an overpriced tourist joint. In the middle of tons of places that average Colombians go to, but there are none in there that are not hookers and no local males. Something is definitely amiss. Same as some venues in Santo Domingo and Rio. Look around and if there are no locals inside then you may not be getting clipped per se, but you definitely are not getting standard prices.

Main problem is scheduling time with them. They commit time but don't show up and change in last minute. Another issue is they don't respond to your messages right away and have to wait hours for their reply.

So best bet is to contact and schedule time with at least 3 and pick one who shows up and cancel others as they do.

Been to Gustos close to a dozen times on several different trips. For most dudes, the guys are going to get quoted 150 USD for an hour and 200 USD for all night. You can talk them down and get lucky if you wait around for closing and maybe knock a few bucks off, but that's the general rate. The girls aren't there to fuck hot guys for fun, they would go to normal clubs for that. They are there to make money first and if they have fun along the way its a bonus. I did pull a 3 some out of there a year ago for around 600-700 mil and the one girl wanted to stay the night and I had to kick her out. My last trip I was quoted 200 USD for the night and the girl wouldn't budge and neither would I. I also approached a few girls and they didn't seem too interested so I definitely did not make an offer. Ended up taking a very decent girl out of the park for 300,000 and I know I should have haggled to 200,00 but I was in the moment having fun, my fault. I would be very surprised to hear a girl leaving gustos for 100,000. Maybe 200,000 but with the pesos so low right now that's less than 30 $, might as well be free at that point.

If anyone has stories of getting a cheap gustos girl for 200 mil or less, please share the tale and let us know it is possible for some.

If the club is only making the entrance fee and drink sales, who's monitoring and enforcing this as I find this hard to believe that the girls who work there would enforce this unless the club was involved.

I don't know about all the girls, but some girls, they are on WhatsApp groups, and I think they decide on the rates, at least what they hope to get. I know a girl for a few years, I try to see her when in town, and she is available. She has a regular office job, so sometimes hard to get hold of her. We don't talk prices anymore, she comes, we eat, drink, music, dance, she might have party favors. She might stay anywhere from 2 to 5 hours, I pay her anywhere from 200 mil to 300 mil and usually give 20 mil for taxi. She never asked for a specific amount, and never counted it before me. I am pretty close to her, so she even let me see her phone. She is on some WhatsApp groups where they discuss money. There was one group where the name was 300 mil una hora mas taxi. They exchange info about bad dudes who stiff them or hurt them, and even post pictures of do not see guys. Girls post messages asking for date referrals if in cash crunch. Also, some girls hook up guys with other girls, I think they charge 50 mil for referrals. Not sure if the guy pays or the girl pays. There is some organization of the girls, but I am not sure how effective and efficient it is. According to my girl, she is not hooking anymore, but sees me because we are friends. Once, she said the girls decided to change 300 mil per hour, and said would I pay that amount. I laughed and said, no I wouldn't pay that amount, and if they are able to get that from someone, more power to them. So there are a whole range of price points and situations in various locations and platforms. You need to figure out what works for you.
