Well, in all my visits here this was my first trip here. So this is where a good selection of hot women can be found. Nice. Entry was 10 COP. 1 beer 18 COP (may have been 2 COP added but I didn't debate it). Several hot dancers and about 30 women sitting around on the prowl. I stayed about 2 hours, enjoyed the strip show. I would say 75-80% of the women sitting did not get picked up. Could it be pricing (170 COP +-)? Most were content with having a good time and customers buying them drinks. Most of the locals as I, had a few cold ones and watched the show. For me I could not justify what they were asking for when I know you can always find a jewel in far less pricey places.

If your on a budget, your hotel stays or going to be costly at CB1 or CB2. I now you want to fuck upon arrival so maybe for the first you might want to stay at cb. I recommend stayin at hotel Villa Real. CRA 70. Its right on a nice strip of bars and clubs. Its close to the metro el estadio and its really safe. Great staff, free wifi on every floor, free coffee, chica friendly for a couple of hrs. The best is on the weekends, some freelancer walk around this street. Just some young nenas that want to make some weekend money. (semipro).

All for $50, 000 p a night.

10min cab ride from downtown casas or just take the metro to Pablado which is the center of all the casas.

Since your budget is $1100 for 8 nights in Medellin, you better (have to?) stay in cheap hotels. Stay at hotels in Mayorista or El Centro. Hotel Crystal is close to casas in Centro, and I believe they charge around $25. Hotels in Mayorista cost between $15-25. I recommend staying in Mayorista first. After you get up and eat breakfast and / or lunch, you take metro and go to casas in Centro. You can go to strip clubs later. In the evening, you go back to mayorista and you can bring girls to your hotel. If you find that you do not like Mayorista in the 1st night, you can move to a hotel in El centro next day.
As for Spanish, just get a book and start learning "now". If you really try, you can learn basics in one week.

My spanish is almost non-existent. I was pretty decent in spanish about 5 years ago. I know some basic verbs but If I do go on this trip, I am going to grab rosetta stone to try and brush up.

I have found a round trip ticket departing on March 1st and returning on March 9th for $380 (from Washington DC). I am highly considering this because I will have an 8 night stay in MDE, which is longer than what I expected. My budget is currently at $1500 max (including airfare and stay). I have been told that hotels in Mayorista can be $25 / night which would be very ideal for me so I can be somewhat picky on the girls. My main worry right now is my lack of spanish, and a place to stay after CB2. Thoughts?

I think I may actually follow this plan. I need to do more research on the hostels and places to stay after CB2.

Spent a couple of hours yesterday at Atena. It is my favorite place. Choo choo has put in a 36 inch high def next to the bar. An easy way to pass a couple of hours between sessions. The bummer he only had 5 girls when I was there but three were doable. And I did. Around 7pm I went to New Life and pulled Katarina. A good session plus the house guy comped my beer.
