However, I think the original poster is just trying to be humorous, there is no way this can happen to him or anyone, the chance that the sun does not rise tomorrow is better than the chance that this story is real. Who spends 50 k USD on ONE working girl, does he has any idea how much money that is in Medellin. I read the last few hundred forum pages. Thanks to all the posters, especially PolloNegro, JjBee62, Tasss, and TheCarlAnthony. I specifically bookmarked and studied their content which helped me plan and visualize the details of my adventure.

I don't speak Spanish conversationally. I only know basic words and relied heavily on Google translate.

Day 1 - Landed, customs line was long due to two planes arriving at the same time. Afterwards, I immediately got a Claro sim at a small shop in the airport. 16 k for 1 GB data, working number, and 7 service days. I paid a little more at the airport but I wanted to get this crucial step out of the way. I ended up using 265 MB with Google maps, Chrome, WhatsApp, and Uber. My Airbnb (San Peter) had excellent WiFi for backing up touristy photos and videos online.

I hopped on the 10 k bus to Centro which does go through the new tunnel. Sit on the right side for the best views. Arriving in Centro, I walked off the bus and was hit with the grittiness of the environment. I wasn't used to it. But, one week later, I left on that same bus back to the airport, and the area felt normal to me. As another poster pointed out, these are just normal people living their daily lives.

I walked through Plaza Botero and down Carrera 52 towards the San Antonio station. I saw several working girls but I just wanted to check-in and get settled. The metro to Estadio was packed but efficient...

I am planning a short trip back to Medellin next month and I was wondering if anyone could offer their thoughts on purchasing and taking tussi with a working girl? Hotel Loyd is awesome. Average room is $60 a night comes with breakfast, just far enough away for no noise. It's a girl leaves a room without you they will call you to make sure everything is okay. No fee. Disclaimer last time I stayed there was March 2019.

One room they have has a steam room and jacuzzi but there is no window.

I visited Medellin the first time in March 2017. Hotel Loyd was recommended to me by a super knowledgeable person. There was no chica fee and they took down her cedula info at the reception. I stayed there two weeks. After the 3rd girl (I was bringing someone every other day) no-one said a word BUT I got the stink-eye from the reception person. Afterwards, I sat down to breakfast in the morning. I was the only one there at 6:30. No one came to serve me and soon thereafter 3 other people came down and they were seated, orders taken and served before someone came to take my order. So, I can't know if it has changed or not but I'm throwing in this information for consideration.

If you have even a passing ability at Spanish, I would stay in Laureles or Belen. Easier for the girls to get there (I. E. Less likely to be waiting) things are a lot less expensive and you'll get to know something about how real Colombians live.

Why 3 different accommodations? Why not just stay in one place?

Two massage places I've tried were Jade Palace and Om Spa for Men. Neither have a particularly diverse selection--Jade only had 3 masseuses when I went in the afternoon. I went with the prettiest and got a perfunctory amateurish massage, followed by a bbj and cowgirl. Cost was around 150 k plus 30 k for the uncovered BJ. Not bad service but not great either. Far better deals to be had elsewhere. I went to Om spa a few more times as it was near my rental and it kind of was my fallback place for when my FB date stood me up and I couldn't find anything else. They were way better at massages and knew how to tease, but would never offer anything more than a happy ending, and only if you tipped like 50 k. I'd love to have a proper tantric massage followed by mind-blowing sex but so far that unicorn has remained elusive.

If you get bored of sex and want to do something more touristy take a day trip to Guatape and check out La Piedra. A bus leaves the north terminal every hour, takes around 2 hours and costs 10 k each way. Be warned that climbing La Piedra is no easy undertaking but the view is absolutely killer.
