Fun Luvr is right. Unless you have some Credit Union or something really strange, almost all banks use the Visa Exchange Rate to settle ATM transactions in different currencies.

The rest of his point was exactly true too. Davienda allows a 2 million withdrawal (per transaction) and there is no fee. As long as you decline the bank's offered rate you will get the Visa Exchange Rate which is always much higher.

If you had tried the Davivienda ATM and declined their conversion rate, you would not have paid any ATM fee. You could have taken out 2,000,000 pesos with one transaction. From the information you posted, you received 4415/1 exchange rate. That is close to the Visa exchange rate last Thursday, which is what you should receive today.

I tried every ATM unicentro Laureles on Calle 66 has to offer. The Red Aval Cajero has the best transaction fee 18.500 cop at 1. 000.000 pesos. This ATM allows you to take up to 1. 500.000 milland pesos out at a time. Capital one does not charge transaction fees so all I pay is the trasaction fee of 18.500 cop = $4. 19 USD. I don't know the transaction fee for 1. 5000.000 cop as I haven't took that much out yet but gather its not more than $6 usd. The ATM is located on the right side of unicentro if entering from the first entrance coming from Calle 66 where Daviendaivada bank is located on your left.

Casas are managed and customers are monitored by big guys. Popular casas girls and mamasans have ties with them. You are inviting trouble if you ask them date and meet them outside. It happened to friend of mine. He was banned from casa later to avoid any trouble from him.

I have seen security guys at a place with several girls working there that I found on one of the online sites but never at a real casa. Either your buddy openly asked for her number in front of others working there or he did it quietly but she really did not like him so she told the manager so he could not return. There are many guys that act like smooth operators in public but in private are complete jerks. He could have been one of those and paid the price for doing so. Maybe he had a habit of asking every single girl every time he went there for their numbers and they had had there fill of it.

Guys asking for the girls numbers happens all day every day is normal and expected. The girl simply says no or yes if she finds a connection. Casas would be out of business quick if they banned all the guys seeking numbers which leads me to believe your buddy messed up somehow.

Guys who party it up and parade hookers in and out of apartment buildings and hotels used by the locals are well outside the norms. All are free to do as they will but don't complain when there are consequences. And you are very right, Colombia doesn't need that kind of tourism.

Guys like Ostersnot and bachelor party guys will ruin it for everyone. Stroking Ostersnots ego from his posts in the past and helping the weekends partiers only shoots yourself in the foot. Getting attention from people around you (the locals) will ruin what we currently have. SO many complete idiots out there that think what happens in Parque Lleras, Laureles, and Centro do not effect the other locations. People just can not seem to be able to connect the dots on how they are all connected. If the mayor or future mayor cracks down on one location he / she will most likely crack down on ALL locations. If Medellin does it then maybe Cali or Bogota will follow suite. Dominoes.

Davivienda charges no transaction fee. Any fees you encounter when using their ATMs are charged by the bank that issued your card. Always decline any conversion offers. It is no more complicated than that. There is no need to post photos. They will only confuse guys further.

It is easy to talk about the princesses and no doubt that is where we spent most of our time, but like this guy Davv posted, you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you get one. Still, the excuses guys make up for not spending $100 to have access to the women we do are nuts. You imagine what the women are like? You know what ALL their motives are? And the funny part is guys using IG and Facebook to engage in P4 P. Were IG and FB set up for that? But if a woman is on Seeking, she has to be X. Truth is you get diamonds and coal there and everything in between.

Don, I wish I could tell you being with one woman was part of some plan. Truth is we are at the airport and Cancun and the gal is balling her eyes out saying, "I am never going to see you again. " My definition of a 10 is someone who drives both sexes crazy and this girl did just that. But then I was like, "Holy shit, this girl is in love with me. " I really did not know her all that well. I had sworn off oneitis and had created this list of boxes that I was sure no one would ever check, and at the time, I was not sure even she could check them. There were just no red marks.

Yeah, there is less materialism, less entitlement, less complaining, less playing the victim, less emasculating behavior in Colombia than the USA, but it is still there. Then there are the druggings and petty theft we see, so anyone with stars in their eyes about finding "the one" in Colombia is likely going to be in for a swift reality check.

And there is no doubt that seeing multiple women is more of a rush; there are the oh so high highs and the lows no one wishes to mention. Meeting so many different women was fun. I miss my Cancun trips with multiple women. They were a fucking ball.

And you are making trade offs. Fun for security. Deeper more lasting family type relationships versus exciting more numerous superficial ones. A relationship you can share with the world versus the fun multiple ones you kind of have to hide. More intimate sex versus more fun sex. Forget the society bullshit. Those are the real tradeoffs you have to make if you are with just one woman, and it damned well better be the right woman. The cost of multiple women in the USA is sky high but it is doable for many in Colombia.

And how many women are really worth that tradeoff of forsaking all others? Giving up your monogamy? Very few in Colombia and even fewer in the USA. In fact, I think if you are looking for that one special woman you are way more likely to convince yourself said girl is "the one" than actually find her. And there are the objective traits all guys want and the subjective ones that vary woman to woman. "The one" woman has to have both the objective and subjective. I have listed the objective but not the subjective. For example, my gal is an idealist which might put off many guys who want a more real type woman not one that could be called nave.

I guess what I am saying is that if you force yourself into believing there is "the one" as society wants you to I am not so sure it works. With me, it just fell in my lap, and I took it slow so as to prevent getting hurt.

As with me, it might not even be your choice. Some old movie said the most attractive feature in a woman was a woman in love with her man. I am sure that has happened with you and will again. The question is if you grab onto it or let it go when that window is open.

I am hanging with my friends, and two gripe that their wives do not pick up when they call. Meanwhile, my gal calls me looking good and is all smiles and bubbly happy to speak with me. They want that. Who does not want that? But the thing is there is the tradeoff. I know a guy like you is banging a ton of beauties having a ball, and I do not get to do that anymore. It is that reality, that tradeoff those guys and hell some of the guys here do not get, but you do.

If you move from the many to the one, chances are that your happiness is more likely to go down than up. In my case, it is up but not that much, and it is more about the unhappiness being down if you know what I mean. I mean I do not have to deal with the no-shows, ripoffs, unrealistic crazy witches ETC. In general, threesomes were disappointing but there is no question that my having two or three women on a trip all at once was as fun as it gets. And there is nothing like that great rush with an amazing first or second encounter when you have that crazy great sexual find that you are getting and I am not.

So yeah, maybe the grass in my world is a little greener than yours, but Don, if so, it is not by much.
