It's been 2 weeks since my trip to Medellin. When I got back to the USA I was on a little bender, back in the usual strip clubs and seeing the regular below average chicks in my area. Kind of depressing. Is it wrong of me to be missing Colombia and these 2 chicas? God they were so amazing.
It is definitely a different experience and you find yourself missing it as soon as you are on that plane. I am still here on vacation and I just had a wonderful experience with a sexy 19 year old girl. I would miss her except that I have another girl coming in 4 hours.

I would say it's not wrong but you should probably get your priorities in check and focus more on your goals. I just got back from Colombia about a week ago as well and to be honest ever since I've started the hobby during my travels I really have no interest in it when I'm back in the states. I mostly just focus on work and goals and only go out when I'm out of town. It's worked out great for me but yes I miss Colombia too already, should of stayed longer but I'm already planning to go back in a couple months.

Dudes have to look out for themselves. What are guys doing walking in a park on the outskirts of Poblado at 9 pm? You'd barely walk through central park at that time.

Well, when I live in some other countries, I can go anywhere I want. What's wrong with that? It's just a reminder so people can stay safe.
I personally went to that area over the river many times on both bridges. One has a large skate park with some street food until late night. The other also has several street food stalls under the bridge but they are mostly for dinner. I like to walk to explore, and I know I am not the only one. Sex is not my first priority.

... then you are getting close to 250 mil which was what you paid.
Unless the bar has pivoted to serve only gringos. It is hard to image that most their local clients can pay that price. This bar is like this since several years ago but it was always in 100 mil range. This is the first time that I heard of over 200 mil.
You can have a part time maid for a full day for 80 mil and that is already not a bad pay. That implies a local man will need to work 3 days to afford to have a session.
JustTK, PigSavinBoy, Mr. Enternational, SteelDH: Three of you report having paid 80 k at Barra last year (presumably for half an hour) which seems more or less consistent with the 150 k for a full hour that I recall paying last August at Conejitos. One thing that surprises me in a couple of your responses: the implication (if I read you correctly) that at all, or most, strip clubs one has to be prepared to negotiate with the chica for the price of heading to a room together. My experience during visits over the past 4 years to strip clubs here (from the high end ones to the El Centro low), has always been that, one gets a consistent quote (be it for a half hour or an hour) when questioning say a doorman and then double checking his answer with a waiter or cashier--and also that one gets consistent quotes from different chicas as well. And exactly the same rates are quoted if one returns a week or two later. My experience at Barra (of having to negotiate with the chica on the basic "go-to-the-room" rate, as opposed to the BBBJ / DFK extras) was, hopefully, an exception to the rule.
The rate of the guys reported here probably in half hour range. If your rate is 1 HR plus BBBJ and sometime BBFS, then maybe it is justified for 250 mil at barra. Most / majority of girl wants 50 mil and up for BBBJ and other additional services. So assuming 150 mil for an HR at Barra plus 50 mil for BBBJ, besos, etc. , then you are getting close to 250 mil which was what you paid.

I guess depends on the club but I think there is kind of price fixing between the chicas, the minimum below which they all agree not to quote, of which number waiters and doormen are aware as well. If she takes less she might be accused of 'ruining the market for all of us' and end up scratched across the face. Also I found a bit strange when several different chicas in Nueva quoted me exactly 150 mil for 1 h in a hotel (not for takeout at that moment but at some unspecified date in the future outside of working hours), they must've all talked and arrive at this price as the standard, no club involved here. Not sure if the club enforces the session price floor but I don't think so, some $ is better then 0 after all (well, at least in centro).
There isn't definitely a cap on the max price hah. Often on busy nights when they have a lot of potential customers to pick from they do try to quote a bit higher too.
In my experience, other than drink prices and room cost (which club charges chica) it's all up for negotiation though.
The difficult trick is not to appear too thirsty when negotiating, which can be difficult with smoking hot chica, limited time and a hardon (they do often mouse around down there to check the customer' real interest level LOL). Knowing the standard market price helps of course as well.
Jjbee, I just want to thank you for sharing. I admire the courage it took to make that leap. Interesting story. And while you might not be more wealthy after it, you are richer from the experience.
Thanks for the vote of confidence. On the financial ladder I had to start back at the bottom rung again. I'm where I was before I made the leap, or a bit higher, but I'm climbing at a faster rate.
Long ago I took a look back at all the mistakes I'd made, the opportunities I missed, the bad decisions and the unlucky breaks. Then I looked at where I was and decided I had no regrets and still have none. Besides, who sits around daydreaming about the year they spent working the same job they've worked for half of their life?

For myself, I am not sure its a total free for all when kit comes to prices. Its just that I get the impression the bar man will let the girls gouge the clients for extra money if she can get away with it. When it comes to negotiating the price, I don't think it takes much work. Just a simple: "no! Its 70 mil" usually does the trick.
On another note, I recently met the nephew of the owner / manager of Barra Ejec. I will ask him about the pricing policy next time I see him.
About 2 weeks ago I was was offered 130 mil, then 100, then 80 mil (same chica). ...
JustTK, PigSavinBoy, Mr. Enternational, SteelDH: Thanks one and all for the feedback on pricing at Barra Ejecutiva and other El Centro strip joints, your LOLs notwithstanding. Clearly I was gouged at 250 k, though, as I reported, the chica was a true Diamond-in-the Rough, equivalent to the hottest ladies that I've ever seen at La Isla and Fase II, and it's sometimes hard to argue with Penis Erectus--I was too turned on to easily take a walk, not to mention that the 4 hour viagra meter was due to run out in an hour or so by the time a had arrived there (a mongering hazard for us at the more ancient end of the geezer spectrum). Can't let that major investment in a blue pill go to waste.

Bara Ejec is always the most expenive in Centro. Mostly for drinks though, not for the girls. I think I paid 80.000 when I was last there, but TBH if your asking for 1 hour it would be more. The girls also will try to charge you what they can, even if there is a standard rate. The mesero's response tells you that. I don't go there often enough to help you more. I avoid the place due to the prices. I also avoid Conejitos due to the staff attitude. I like to stand at the bar and have a beer and chat with the girls and the staff. I don't like to be processed like a farm animal.
I like Nueva grill for cheap price, girls and atmosphere. Barra drinks are expensive, I was there two years ago and I believe it was like 18 mil or20 mil for a beer, I don't know what it is now, I haven't been back since I found my favorite spot Nueva.
I go to Conejita too but the girls are lacking, mostly too thick for my liking jaja and BarriorSpinner got charged 150 mil for half for a thin spinner. He also was quoted 150 mil from another spinner a day earlier too. I got similar thin spinner next door beautiful face (her sister wasn't bad either) at Nueva for 70 mil. I'll post report once I am back and got time.
if you stay 90 days then leave then come back agn within the same year they give you a brand new 90 days again without having to pay for the extension.
There's a lot of little caveats that migracion Colombia is not really clear about on their website and you just have to learn them thru experience.
Yes, plus they can make mistakes. Last year I was here for about 1 month, then left for 5-6 weeks, then came back again on same passport. I extended online and I thought they would have reduced my 90 day extension by the amount of time I had already spent in Colombia on the first visit. Both entry stamps are on the same page of my passport. But no, they extended another 90 days anyway, as if my first visit wasn't included in the total 180 days. And who am I to argue with an immigration official if he / she grants me permission to stay for 210 days in one year? I can only assume they were following the law. They gave my permission to do it anyway.
