Bara Ejec is always the most expenive in Centro. Mostly for drinks though, not for the girls. I think I paid 80.000 when I was last there, but TBH if your asking for 1 hour it would be more. The girls also will try to charge you what they can, even if there is a standard rate. The mesero's response tells you that. I don't go there often enough to help you more. I avoid the place due to the prices. I also avoid Conejitos due to the staff attitude. I like to stand at the bar and have a beer and chat with the girls and the staff. I don't like to be processed like a farm animal.

I like Nueva grill for cheap price, girls and atmosphere. Barra drinks are expensive, I was there two years ago and I believe it was like 18 mil or20 mil for a beer, I don't know what it is now, I haven't been back since I found my favorite spot Nueva.

I go to Conejita too but the girls are lacking, mostly too thick for my liking jaja and BarriorSpinner got charged 150 mil for half for a thin spinner. He also was quoted 150 mil from another spinner a day earlier too. I got similar thin spinner next door beautiful face (her sister wasn't bad either) at Nueva for 70 mil. I'll post report once I am back and got time.

There's a lot of little caveats that migracion Colombia is not really clear about on their website and you just have to learn them thru experience.

Yes, plus they can make mistakes. Last year I was here for about 1 month, then left for 5-6 weeks, then came back again on same passport. I extended online and I thought they would have reduced my 90 day extension by the amount of time I had already spent in Colombia on the first visit. Both entry stamps are on the same page of my passport. But no, they extended another 90 days anyway, as if my first visit wasn't included in the total 180 days. And who am I to argue with an immigration official if he / she grants me permission to stay for 210 days in one year? I can only assume they were following the law. They gave my permission to do it anyway.

For guys bringing girls back to the hotel, the cedula requirement can be an issue. Most hotels require the physical identification card or password. Some girls have lost it and only have a photocopy or only have the online version on the government website. Last night I had dinner for a girl and everything was going well and I had asked her before coming if she had her cedula and she said yes. Well, we go to my hotel and it turns out she only has a photocopy that is not good enough. There was the option of going to a short-term hotel but it was late and I was uncomfortable about it.

And then tomorrow's girl which is today also has a problem. After last night, I've been more thorough in asking if a girl has her physical identification card. The girl said she only had the online government version with a password. There are a few hotels that take it, like on my last trip, but this hotel did not.

When I get back home, I will mention what hotel I am staying in.

There are plenty of other girls to see when one girl does not have her physical identification but it is always a bummer when the girl you want has issues with her identification card. In the daytime, I am more comfortable with short-term hotels and I would be willing to use one if necessary.

There are some guys who advise men not to bring girls back to the hotel due to security concerns. They feel that the short-term hotels are safer when you want to see girls that you really don't know.

I'd be interested in hearing from an El Centro regular who can perhaps clarify if my experience at Barra Ejecutiva was most likely a one-off (a chica trying to rip me off, rather than a sea change in strip club chica pricing).

On my return to Medellin early this month, I've twice had great luck finding a "hidden-gem"/"diamond-in-the-rough" beauty of a chica at Barra Ejecutiva. During many prior visits to the El Centro Clubs (most often Conejitos), I usually have walked out after finding only 3 or 4 marginally "doable" chicas at work, and the rest of the available ladies I wouldn't take to bed even if they paid me. and with the exception of my two "finds" the same proved true at Barra Ejecutiva.

I had great sessions with both of these hot chicas on the premises (good energy, DFK, BBBJ, and with one of them, to my surprise, slipping me in bareback). The 1 hour payment to the club was 250,000 (which seemed a bit steep for an El Centro club compared with what I vaguely recalled from my visit last August / September, but for me acceptable in the context of overall inflation here. I also gave them each a propina for the GFE extras).

About 2 weeks ago I was was offered 130 mil, then 100, then 80 mil (same chica). Though it was her that was offering to sell not me asking to buy. Never had a session for 1 h there although I'd actually expect to pay less and get some kind of discount for longer time, like in casas. AFAIK chicas set their own prices so don't buy the BS of 'papi, I would, but it's not allowed here for less than X'.

Hah, yes that walk thorough toilet can be a mood killer. Rooms are quite alright for Centro standards though. I think they hide those backroom entrances a bit since they aren't officially allowed to offer rooms. I remember when one time me and the chica weren't allowed to get out of the backstage at Nueva Avenida because the police was in the club (well we waited back in the prison room and had some unscheduled additional free fun so no complaints really).

He probably stayed from June to June. 180 days in one year, and 180 days the next calendar year (Jan 1st is when 180 days rule re-sets).

I'm loving all the speculation, but it was simply done by taking the first 90 on the tourist visa, extending for the 2nd 90 days and then a 6 month student visa.

June to June won't work because you are still required to leave the country to reset the tourist visa.

They changed quite a bit with the different visas a few years ago, so if you're going to be pushing the 180 days, or using the student visa like I did, do some research.

Also, with any of the formal visas (unless this was changed), you're required to submit a letter, in Spanish. I spent a long time searching, because the Migracion website didn't mention anything about what was supposed to be in the letter. It's basically just a statement of financial responsibility stating you'll be responsible for paying your way out of Colombia when your visa expires.

A brief synopsis:

2017 I liquidated everything in the US and moved to Medellin, the plan was to be part of a new webcam studio. The studio provided me with a room in a nice apartment, where I only paid for internet and half the utilities. While waiting for the studio to get going I was introduced to Juan Bustos and did some work for him. Juan is a huge deal in the Colombian webcam industry....

However, I'm thrilled to be where I am now, so I consider the experience to be to my benefit.

One of my favorite restaurants there is Crepes why Wafles, the Chicken and Broccoli crepe is my all time favorite. It pretty popular so you will probably encounter a waiting line. Caduff Pasta Fresca is also a great place with home made pasta. This place is owned by a English speaking European guy, I forgot his name though. Parmessano close to Parque Segundo is also good, usually a wait there too. Ammazza Gin Garden is also really good. La Pampa is an Argentinian steak house that I have been a few times the Baby Beef is really good. Anyway there are hundreds of restaurants there all within walking distance and there is also the food court at the UniCentro mall that has lots of places to eat too.

For those who don't know, Crepes and Waffles can be found all over, including in many of the malls. If you have no interest in Colombian food, don't want a diet of just hamburgers and pizza, it's a good option. Most people should be able to find something to their liking on the menu.

For $25 k I took 1 year off from work. I spent 1 year in Colombia. I met a lot of new friends in Colombia. I got a very nice new laptop. I took classes to greatly improve my Spanish. I fucked a lot of Colombian women. I lost 60 pounds and got into good shape. And I got to start over.

Ending up in a big hole sucks. Climbing out of the hole feels great. Filling the hole and then climbing back up the ladder feels fantastic. If I hadn't blindly jumped at the deal I don't know where I would be today. However, I'm thrilled to be where I am now, so I consider the experience to be to my benefit.

No matter where you are, you should be aware.

Agreed. Close to the river, for example along Avenida Las Vegas near Poblado Station, is much more dangerous than around, say Provenza.

Not to quibble with you but there are some tricky situations. That reset word can be problematical.

So, for example, a monger who no longer posts on ISG spent a lot of time in Medellin. He was at 170 days and decided to come on Christmas Eve and planned on staying a month.

Afterall there were only 7 days left in 2021 and January 1 would reset right?? Wrong! He had 8 days which only took him to 178 BUT he had not left the country so his reset didn't start.

Until he exited and reentered the country. In other words, if he had stayed over into 2022 he would have run over the 180 days because the reset didn't occur until his existing entry stamp was matched with an exit stamp. He checked on this and made a two day trip to Panama City to accomplish his exit and then his reentry started the new year and the 180 days limitation.

Yes I remember when Osteoknot posted this. The 180 days per calendar year does reset on Jan 1 but not if you are already here before January 1st. You need to leave and then come back in that case. I have also noticed that the 90 day extension (permanencia para prorrogar or whatever it's called) is only required if you stay past 90 days on any one trip such as a whole 180 day block, but if you stay 90 days then leave then come back agn within the same year they give you a brand new 90 days again without having to pay for the extension.

When I asked her to a room, she told me that, since my visit 2 weeks ago, the club manager had raised the 1 hour price to 330,000 (including 30k for the room). While she went to the ladies room, I tried to double-check this pricing with one of the waiters, but he replied that I had to speak to the chica.

250? LOL. Like JTK, the last I was in there I paid 80 k. The waiter told you correctly. You have to ask the girl because each girl makes her own price. That is why I have? When people come reporting that the price is a particular thing. You negotiate the price with each individual girl. There is no set price. One thing I can bet is that Colombians are not paying 250 and 330.

Can one of you El Centro hands chime in and let us know whether I was being ripped off, or if prices at Barra Ejecutiva (and perhaps elsewhere in El Centro) have really escalated that dramatically since late last year?
