They say to the gringos that they live in Bello to get more taxi money. Yes, this is one trick the girls do to get more money out of you. I wouldn't even try to figure out if they're lying or not. Bello is a big area so lots of them are legitimately from there. And who cares if they're not. Tell them you'll give them X amount for taxi (if you feel like being generous) and that's the deal, regardless of where they say they're from. Best strategy is to try not to let them girl run the transaction for you. You tell her what you'll give her, including taxi if you choose, and that's the deal, period.

Here are some comments that came to mind as I read your report:

- A girl you meet on FaceBook often will be flaky about showing up, especially if she is under-30. It's a Paisa thing. They are like butterflies. They flit around and rarely know what they are doing tomorrow. She may accept a date for a few days from now, but she's merely being polite. A key to minimizing the missed connections is to contact her regularly in the days / hours before your date. I like Whatsapp for that -- almost all have it. Sometimes you may even double-book and, if both girls appear to be available, cancel one at the last minute. They do it all the time.

- Medellin is all about the day of the week. Fridays and Saturdays are the big nights, both in strip clubs and in clubs / bars. Also Sunday nights if the next day, Monday, is a festival day -- which happens about once a month. Last time I was at Fase II, it was a Thursday night. The place was filled with 80 or so girls and maybe only 25 guys. The girls were like sharks swimming by, hoping to catch your eye for a drink, a chat, and maybe more. As to girl quality, I've not been to FKKs, but to my eye there were at least ten girls of 9 or higher quality. I once saw a 10 at La Isla, and she was like the Belle of the Ball. Every guy wanted her, so she was very very picky about who she gave her attention to...

I find almost all Paisas to be flaky. All countries have their "Paisa Thing" excuse but IMO this is just the disorganized functioning of poor, uneducated people trying to do things combined with the special inability to concentrate by these, attention deficit Paisa women.

I agree 110% about staying in contact in the hours leading up to the date. IMO this does not come across as desperate. They view you just like everyone else in their life that is pushing them to do something. Also, I always stress to the girls to call or text me when they enter the taxi. Many guys think that their date is on the way when this is easily avoidable. This call triggers my brain to start getting ready.

Here is an idea for those who are learning or have some Spanish. Make a list with 5 obscure items. Go to El Centro and, one at a time, look for them. It is great practice with Spanish and gives one a reason to interact while being yourself. I haven't done this to meet girls but have done this many times before out of need and can definitely see how this could be a relaxed approach to meeting girls.

Unfortunately I don't know much about the internet. I only know what I see around me. If I am walking around El Centro I will give my opinions regarding the girls that I know but other than that I am not interested in trading info on girls. All I have seen is complications and frustration around me for those who do this. I would rather provide info that might help one fish instead of providing a fish. In addition our MO's couldn't be more different in that I like thin girls with flat stomachs, narrow waists, no English, breast size irrelevant, etc.

Reach out to some of the board members who visit Medellin often and they should be able to point you in the right direction. On that note some advice to all board members, if you want to receive responses to your girl inquires ask your questions close to your trip date. Too many guys are asking about some girl's status when their trip isn't for another few months. These crazy bitches jump in and out of things so often. Who knows where some of them will be a month from now. Next time you are traveling somewhere post something like, "Going to be in Medellin next week. Looking for a date with a girl who has big breasts, speaks some English preferably, and has good hygiene. " Post another question once you arrive. Just an idea.

Continuing with your hygiene issue. There are some things you can't control such as vaginal infections or what they ate last night. As far as what you can control is making them take a shower and using a vaginal cleaner, not soap! Soap can intensify the situation. Guys, showers are a must for room dates. Showers are not only for cleanliness but a decompression between the natural stress of interacting and a transition into sex. This also gives one time to organize things before sex. It is certainly nice to see a relaxed girl wrapped in a towel walking in the room from the shower. If a girl tells you that they just took a shower, tell them that it is a mental issue and ask them nicely to take one for you. Same can apply for you getting them to clean themselves down there also.

When I first joined this board I read a post saying something like, "you will walk upon a fork in the road. When everyone goes right, go left. Keep an eye on what others are doing but walk your own road. " I leave you and others with this thought that stuck with me.

This was my first time to Medellin but I am an experienced hobbyist typically visiting Germany FKKs and other places. Forgive me for the late report but I have been too busy. Medellin was interesting and fun in a different way. I definitely agree that Spanish makes a difference here as most people are not well equipped with English.

- As far as girl hygiene, you can avoid problems by inviting them to take a shower before. Sometimes I join them in the shower and wash them myself with an antibacterial soap. They get the idea that this is my way of preparing them for a pleasurable oral experience later. Which of course they look forward to. Same goes for you: never a threat of CBJ if they see you come out of the shower squeaky-clean.

- About Parque Lleras, picking up girls there is like working on an Alaskan fishing trawler. Dangerous and with a lengthy time investment, but potentially with a sizable payoff. Most experienced Medellin gringos try to find better uses of their time than trawling at Parque Lleras. The reason I say dangerous is that if there is a bad guy looking to target gringos, he knows to find them at Parque Lleras.

- Age and language are the two big variables for any Medellin visitor's experience. I wish I had come here 20 years ago. Now I can bang the under-25's I find on Facebook, but I know they are just doing it for the money. Lately I find myself with a string of 35+ freebies that are way more engaging and cost less (not nothing, just less). I speak Spanish decently. Without it freebies would be difficult, though not impossible.

- Regarding the girls you'll find at M1 or M2, think of them as training wheels for when you learned to ride a bike. Yes, they are readily available if you stay there. As you become more familiar with Medellin, you'll want to move up the food chain a bit. This is a generalization, of course. One of my favoritas still visits M1 occasionally. It's a way for her to meet new clients who might return and stay in apartments. I don't love it that she goes there, but I'm not willing to make it worth her while not to.

- When you return to Medellin, try to find a way to target the girls who are open to foreigners. I use a combination of the Latin Cupid dating site, Tinder and Facebook. In my experience, 80% of the girls in Medellin are NOT interested in dating a foreigner. The word is out that we are just looking for sex. So for the average girl you might try to pick up on the street, she thinks you are a creep until proven otherwise. I look for girls online because they have a predisposition to choose a foreigner. They will put up with my less-than-perfect Spanish and the stigma of being seen with me because they want either money, sex or a visa to the USA. I find the over-35's often just want sex. That I can do!

One last comment. I first got into this style of dating in China. I had a lot of fun there. However, now that I am up-to-speed on Medellin, the overall experience is a lot better. Colombianas are very passionate in bed. I've grown to love their curvy butts, though never surgically enhanced, and their natural eroticism. Stay away from the obviously-untrustworthy ones and you'll have a great time here!

Interesting to hear you bring up the hygiene issue with Paisas. I have had to the same experience. At least once every trip, I run into a chica with a smelly pussy. I don't think I've encountered this even once in many trips to Brasil, DR, etc. And it's a bit counterintuitive as the Paisas are so georgous and so concerned with their appearance. You'd think they'd be equally concerned with their hygiene.

I did a lot of research before my trip on this forum and other places. This really helped but things don't necessarily go the way you want them to. Still, managed to have fun but with twists and turns and, as always, the times I enjoyed were the most unexpected.

IMO what you are looking for is available in Medellin. You just have to get organized with the internet. As I have written in the past there are some advantages to making multiple trips yearly as well as staying for extended stays. You can't expect to be very efficient visiting a place like Medellin for a few days only every few years or so. If you made more trips you would become more familiar with the city and establish a base of girls. Just imagine after 1-2 average sessions you could call an all star that you knew as opposed to trying to locate a new girl.

There are plenty of silicone girls with English available in Medellin. In Medellin the girls that are getting somewhat harder to find are the newer semipro 8's, more or less, who don't have much experience but understand the basics of what is going on. These types of girls resemble silly putty not cement. I am not saying that all pros are cement as many experienced guys have pros in their roster and can make good connections with them, myself included. There are some advantages to dealing with pros also. Of the pros you may have to sift through the droids to find the girls with better attitudes that will let their guard down a little. Each girl can vary tremendously in her performance level from guy to guy, YMMV. I love this about Medellin. As a hobbyist this is all one can ask for is the ability to use some charm and make a connection.

My advice is the next time you are in Medellin go to Energy, Blue Room, and Abydos in the daytime. At night check out La Isla, Fasay Dos, Luna Lunera, and San Diego. Become more efficient with the internet and you can eliminate the night scene altogether as most of my friends down here have done. I empathize with newer guys trying to find good sexual experiences at night. Although I love Medellin IMO the night scene is overrated. The high end strip clubs, downtown strip clubs, The Mayo, The San Diego street scene, etc. I find these outlets to be very average for a city with so many beautiful women such as Medellin. Also, keep working on your Spanish. Increases in Spanish equals increases in connection.
