Hay guys. I am suppose to go to Cartagena this jan but, my friends are telling me that I should go to Medellin instead. I have been to Cartagena but, I wanted to know if Medellin is better. Give me your opinion. Oh, and tell me about the prices and action too. I know there is alot of action in Cartagena but the prices are higher than I expected.

Posts: 46They sell sim cards downtown on Carabobo everyday of the week, cheap.
The least expensive service is Tigo.
Most girls use TIGO, but lots of people use Comcel.
Popular now, are dual sim card phones, that way you can have both, because when you call accress carriers it gets expensive. ( burns up your minutes).

There are also unlock quad ban cell phones that you can buy in the states. You can also buy phones that can handle two sim cards.

Hey guys,
Looking to get a sim card to have a local number. Who's card do I want? I think it's Comcel. Columbian sims seem to be getting hard to find online. I noticed that Telestial had some explanation that Comcel is requiring that the cards be registered. Also read on another forum that in Colombia one needs to show their credula or passport to sign up for service is this true? If so then I'm guessing this might be why Comcel sim cards are out of stock at my usual online vendors. If the cards are supposed to be registered what happens if I buy and it's not registered properly with Comcel? Should I just wait and pick one up in Medellin? Is their a Comcel vendor at the airport? Sorry too many question marks in this post.

Posts: 1694I guess I'm different, every time I've been solo I've picked up and as I live here thats quiet a few times, even guests who carnt speak spanish and have a go at dancing pick up at Mango's, I guess if your willing to have a go then you can have sweet rewards.
If you think its to hard, go to the street action at Mayoista!

Well, you know where to come, you've been there. I'm sure she would love to be your personal trainer. Small, but tight boobs. She's the only girl in Medellin I know that is happy with herself and doesn't want silicone boobs. I've discussed with her about going to the airport with my drivers if it is requested!

Mangoes is a lot of fun in small doses. Definitely, IMHO, NOT the place to pick anybody up, if for no other reason then if the chica is there with the cover charge they have, she is either with someone, who can afford to go on her own, so, ipso facto, does not need any old gringo as she is plenty well off on her own. For anybody who is good at salsa, or with a chica that likes that, it is really a great place to go, and the stage dance shows are a lot of fun, and the dancers are gorgeous. They never have had a problem (with me anyway), having their pictures taken, but that's about all one could every expect.
I've only gone there in a group, but just a look around would indicate it would be very difficult. Also the music volume there makes it virtually impossible to have a normal conversation.
