Glad to see this topic come up again. I have read here that the exchange rate at the casas de cambio in Medellin is terrible: That you lose as much as 15%. Is that so, or is the rate more or less what one sees quoted on the internet?

I was in both Medellin and CTG between 19 and 29 August. Rates the same. In Medellin, cambios where passport not required to change were giving 10 centavos less. In Centro, in the tall, gigantic white building with the sloping roof is Western Union and cambios. Ground level in building next door are better cambios. Sorry about vague directions, can get street address if anyone interested. (have also changed at the casino there too, in a pinch)

You are charged a fee just like Travelex and is high 5-8 percent - use ATM and you get real rate.

You can easily exchange currency in Oviedo Mall. I think they have two or more casas that change money.

I just wanted to ask how do LDV and the Pley clubs in Cartagena compare to the Fase Dos and Loutron in Medellin. Lately , I have noticed that the joints in Medellin have experienced quite a drop off in talent. So I was wondering about the talent in Cartagena.

I would also like to comment that believe it or not there are some *****s that once you fuck them that you will come back for more. So yes, there can be some drama among *****s that think you are dying to fuck them a second time.

All of the places you mentioned all have Stunners. For my money forget those four and just wait for 3AM and go to electra in CTG for a place loaded with fine woman who at that point of the night are hungry and will give you a good deal if you know how to operate.

Still raining but the good news is the last few nights have been good on the Mayorista strip. My newbe crew is hooking up with some cute girls and I have been sticking with my old concacts so everyone is happy. I checked out Club Inter and the beers were 7 K and mostly Chicas with fat ass's were working. I counted only 2 good ones and my Wing took one. 70K was the cost for 30 min. Place was kind of run down. I will not return. We went to Centro next and Las Americas was good. Two of my crew hooked up with some Spinners who I rated as 9's. For logistical reasons I can't use ATMs on this trip. I searched all the way through 2008 posts in the "peso exchange thread" but I did not find where to exchange foreign currency into Pesos in MDE for best rates and is safe. Please direct me for the first day or two and then I can find my own way around town. Gracias

To those in the know, is weed legal in Colombia? Even if not really "legal", is it tolerated? I ran into quite a few Colombianas (outside Colombia) seem to always have a small stash on them and they are very casual about it.
