Posts: 3801Dress and Attire Guidelines For El Centro- No Water Bottles or Sunglasses

Sunday's are an exception and you will see more people wearing shorts all over town, but again hardly in El Centro.
In regards to man bags and fanny packs, I haven't ever seen Colombians with these. However, backpacks are worn by just about everyone.
So a dead ringer that you are foreigner in El Centro is if you have a bottle of water in your hand. Seems odd perhaps, but the water is potable in Medellin, and the locals are not going to pay 2,000 Pesos for a bottle of water. The alternative are the plastic bags of water, 500 Pesos and that's what keep's me hydrated when I am there.
The next item that will give you away in El Centro besides jewelry etc, is if you are wearing sunglasses. May seem odd, but the locals in El Centro don't wear them.
So if you have dark hair, a darker complexion, not blue eyes, wear old jeans and a T-shirt and a backpack you will not stick out like a sore thumb in El Centro and may be able to pass as a Colombian.

Posts: 4040A short sleeve shirt gives me all the ventilation I've ever needed in Medellin, even in midsummer. I don't personally care what anyone wears. Look at a few street views of the city and decide for yourself what to wear.

Besides having a few supplies, it's handy to carry things if I stop by the store.
The backpack stays home if I'm going to a strip club, or planning on walking in El Centro after dark.

From most reports she sends out photos to people in the WhatsApp group on a regular basis. Also from most reports, it always seems the girl you want is never available when you want her.

Posts: 99First, thank you for all the good works with the list and map. I'm sure it helps a bunch of us, its sure help me a lot.
And I know about that list. I wasnt sure he was talking about that list or some hot girls contact list that I don't know about. I'm a sucker for hot girls but most of them just have bad attitude.

Posts: 99Different folks different stroke I guess. Some of us just stand out like a sore thumb. But I definitely not recommend wearing short and slipper, might as well scream "gringo" as you walk around town LOL.

Posts: 99Just got a little confused. I thought you posted a list that I didn't see. Are you talking Chica list in Map & List, or a actual list of hot fb chica profile?
