70 mil or 70 k is 70,000 pesos. Right now that's a little more than $14. The current exchange rate is 4990 Colombian pesos per dollar. Round up to 5000 and it's easy. Remove 4 zeros, double the number that's left and you have dollars. 50 mil is $10,100 mil is $20.

Do not pay in dollars. For most people tge best rate comes from bo fee ATMs. Depending on their bank some people can get a better rate from a money exchange, but not ine at the airport.

Many Colombians will omit the mil when talking price. It's always a good idea to confirm she's talking mil pesos and not dollars. Paying $200 when you think you'll only be paying $40 is a headache you don't want.

I'm excited to visit Medellin. The prices I seee are ridiculously cheap for everything.

I agree that the exchange rate with the US dollar is not something that chicas follow. It is irrelevant to them other than those who give you quotes in US dollars.

I agree that 200-250 k is a good starting point. My point is that if you are on a short trip, don't let an extra 50 k or $10 be the deciding factor in whether you want to see a particular girl. Each girl is unique and if you want to see that particular girl, that is what you want need to pay to see her. When you go back home, don't be the guy who let $10 stop him from seeing a girl that he really wanted to see and say that it was the principle of the matter.
