Your options for limiting commute time are web sites and agencies that do outcall if you are going to be in Poblado. If you are going to stay Centro or Laureles, you will be closer to where many providers live and work so you have the option of walking to them or having them come to you via rapid transit. A lot of guys pay taxi fares. I consider that optional but stand by for other opinions.

Very first in Medellin next month. I have no idea what I'm doing and way too much information out there. Can someone suggest few places to stay at (the mansion is out of my price range) or just general areas of town to stay at. I'm looking into hotels and airbnb.
