Since you've been there before you are probably already familiar with it, but just in case -- Zaaika is an excellent Indian Restaurant in the Parque Lleras area. The back-balcony sitting area can be a nice place for a date, overlooking the park. We never skip it when we visit.

Hands down this is the best Indian place to eat in Poblado, and they don't fool around on the spiciness, on a scale of 1-5, I can barely handle 2 so it's the real deal when it comes to cooking up and serving spicy Indian food. And it's actually located very close to Parque Poblado about 1/2 block up from the "miracle mile", Avenida Poblado. And Parque LLeras is about three blocks further up the hill from the Indian Place. And a few doors up from the Indian place is Zorba's a vegetarian place with Pizza's and salads. A very young crowd there, "twenty somethings" and usually packed as it's very popular.

You got 3,300? You must be using a Canadian bank to withdraw your money. Even so, the Canadian $ should be slighly above $3,500 Colombian Pesos. You might want to review your methodology.

There is lots of punter / provider activity in Parque Bolivar. It's somewhat of a niche market sometimes referred to as "alternative lifestyle. " You are spot on about the danger and it's not only after dark. It's astonishing how many violent crimes happen in such a small parcel that actually contains a police station.

Interesting choice as it's not really a mongering spot which I know your aware of for guys on this board, albeit there are other types of mongering there for locals. And not the safest place to be at late in the evening, no different than Plaza Botero.

Periodista Park, better known as "Stoner's Park" can be fun in the evenings, and many years ago Parque Lleras was a bit similar in that people would openly be smoking dope sitting inside the park.

So many people are using drugs in Medellin. As an example today while leaving the Parque Berrio Station I headed down the main drag to the backside of the Museum and I saw people smoking weed, snorting coke, sniffing glue, and people shooting up. All in walking no more than about 500 meters.

There's so many tourists now, and without the barricades at Botero Plaza, a lot of the drug use I mentioned used to occur there as well.

I think the barricades are going to be permanent.

Did it ever occur to you that some mongers don't frequent CENTRO because the pussy is cheap, yet because they like the atmosphere, albeit dangerous at times, sometimes like a circus, yet enjoy lurking around looking for new women to take upstairs, and at times finding hidden gems which requires a lot of time and patience.

More or less sums up why I stay / monger in el centro. My friends don't get it because I will stay at Energy Living with them if they come around but solo I'll just stay at the Nutti.

Without being able to see profile photos, or reviews / comments, also they took away the option to view recently updated profiles, it's pretty much useless now.

Looks like they created a new site called ChicaChat. Co which shows profile photos. Kinda feels like a dating app.
