You're dealing with 2 different issues, which combined are creating the problem.

The first issue is Parque Lleras reputation. If you do minimal research, Parque Lleras sounds like another Sosua or Walking Street in Pattaya, free range pussy, fighting over who will work the cheapest for the gringo dollars. So the hordes all converge on Parque Lleras because they are looking at reports that are 8 years old. Most have no idea how to operate if the chicas aren't walking up and begging them. They never venture more than 3 blocks from their hotel and have no clue about the rest of the city.

The other issue is the city's response to Parque Lleras' reputation. They want a better image for the area. Rather than a big crackdown, which would also affect the crowd they want to keep, they practice low key harassment. The too obvious, too aggressive, get pushed out, the obvious sex tourist gets harassed. This means less women working the parque.

The result is lots more clueless gringos, milling around like lost sheep and lots less chicas, who are much more low key.

The solution? Don't go to Parque Lleras to get laid. It's a big city. Just 30 minutes of research will give you several other options. Options where there are more choices, no police harassment and much lower prices.

Believe it or not, Thailand, Philippines, DR, Brazil, Colombia, etc. Don't solely exist to provide low cost pussy to gringos. If the only benefit you see in a country is cheap sex, that country will soon be ruined for you. If you are coming for the cheap sex, so is everyone else. That means the price will go up. That means the service will go down. That means the locals will be less accepting. Eventually it means you'll no longer be happy with it.

I have been using Colombia cupid for about a month in preparation for my trip to Medellin next month. I seem to be getting a fair amount of positive responses. I plan on using tinder as well when I get there. Anyone have any luck with setting up some girls in advance using CC. Any advise would be helpful.

IMHO, and as a person who put in much effort and planning using dozens of connections I cultivated on Colombian Cupid a few months before each of my past 3 trips to Medellin, well fact is the practicality of meeting one one or two or three of these girls over a course of a 2 week visit takes so much effort and planning that the end just never justifies the time and effort.

Let me tell you I worked it but because of the girls schedule, my schedule, their geographic location in the city, limited Spanish skills, it just is too much work. I will not attempt again unless I am in Medellin for a month or better. Trust me things come up that you can not plan for.

Just my experience over the past 2 years and 3 or 4 visits.

What is up with Colombian women and the stench? Anyone who has been here, I am sure knows what I am talking about! At FKK's in Europe, no girl smells down there (at least none I've had). In Colombia, it is rare to find a girl that smells fresh down there. What is the problem? Are they not good at hygiene? Again I must have been going to a different Colombia all these years than you guys. I have never had one with a stinky pussy and I hang out in places such as Santa Fe and de Greiff. I would also say Colombia is the place where 8 out of 10 nonpros that I have dealt with DON'T have kids. It is the exact inverse of Dominican Republic, Philippines, and Thailand. As far as lying and not honoring commitments, I have found the nonpros in Colombia to be some of the most reliable women on the planet. However this has not reduced the amount of women available that appears to be the premise of your post.

I second this. This weekend in Lleras was a total sausage fest. Very few hot girls and hordes of desperate Brits, Americans, and Euros. The women are now spoiled and expect 200 k for short time and they are also very lazy and glued to their phones. Even if you are offering to pay well, they may not show depending on what TV show they are watching. Top tip: If you have some Spanish you can find girls in the barrios that will take less and don't look like Micheal Jackson with breast implants. But good luck with that, because soon enough she'll learn to go trolling in Lleras and her prices will go up. I may also add that you should not, under any circumstances buy anything illegal in Lleras as there is an extra police presence and the "gum kids" are extra aggressive as if they are trying to nail you in some sorta sting. I have a friend that was robbed by the cops the other night because he had a joint on him. According to these cops, weed is legal for Colombians but not for gringos. This place is a sausage fest filled with lazy bitches and desperate dudes, and it ain't getting any better. I will be partying elsewhere from now on. The only question I have is if they wipe out the dreaded "gringo sex tourist" who the F is going to pay for all the illegitimate kids these young girls have? This town is played out, and if you have an IQ above room temp you'll get bored quickly with the 6th grade education, and the uber stuck up ***** attitude, with none of the talent, smarts, or success to back up any of it.

Jdit, Eszpresszo, and CeeJay, thanks for the advise. Definitely sounds like a place you don't want to be in while making that realization. I'll likely stick to Centro during the day but if I decide to venture out at night I'll stick with cabs and keep my head on a swivel. I'm just intrigued to see what the talent looks like during the night. Could only image it's better than the daytime.

Just wrapped up a few days in Medellin, the land of wondrous lusty beauties.

Stayed in Centro for my first time, renting an AirBnB. No issues with bringing back guests and walking distance from Parque Bolivar, Barra Ejecutiva, Chicas Punto Com, etc. To one side and New Life, Aleja S. A. S and other casas the other way.

It was nice meeting up with KainNYC and two other gents. Hope you guys had a good time.

My first night I picked up a 25 yo from Barre Ejecutiva around 11 p. I believe the multa was 70 kCOP and 200 k to her. She was great did everything. Stayed the entire night. Next morning she really wanted me to see her neighborhood in Belen so I went along. The event came off very well. 94 girls and 55 guys. A couple more girls than the Halloween party, but about 15 less guys. It cleared it's expenses, and that's all we were really interested in. I spent most of the proceeds sending dateless chicas home in taxis. What did happen was a lot of guys made like-minded friends, got chica contact info, and most got laid. Good review. Would you suggest that a newbie to Medellin not venture out to Centro Clubs at night even using a taxi to and from the club? Is it that dangerous?

Sage advice given by Eszpresszo and Jdit. The whole atmosphere changes once the sun goes down, especially when your outside Laureles or Poblado. I usually stay in the centro area around el parque centro and I've heard guns shots, seen police chases, and saw machete fights all from my hotel. After 9 pm I use a cab directly to and from where I'm going. Gringo or not doesn't really make a difference to them, their rob anyone of anything.
