Doing some research for my trip next year. I know the asking price for a female isn't the final price as you can always negotiate. I'm on the process in mastering Spanish in speaking and writing / reading aspects so I'm not too concerned with that. It's possible to do the same things the non-Spanish speakers are doing. What changes is it's easier to do them.

The girls are unlikely to approach you whether you're an obvious gringo or whether you look like you were born and raised in Manrique. Colombian girls don't generally do that. They'll smile at you. Of course that doesn't necessarily mean anything. They might be smiling at you because they like your shirt, or they might be smiling at you because they want you to fuck them.

Your going to have to read this thread going back at least a few months to understand how things work here. Medellin is not like Sosua, nor Pattya, nor Angeles City. In those places, you will be pursued, in Medellin, hardly at all.

Being an obvious gringo in Medellin has it's drawbacks, primarily you are a target.

Looking like a local, and speaking the language is huge in my opinion.

It could happen. I posted about my remarkably similar experiences not too long ago. I might as well give an update.

First, there's the nympho. She's not in Medellin and really just an average looking Venezuelan.
