Hotel Du parc caught my eye on a trip to Medellin a few years ago and I actually took a chica to dinner there one night. The food was decent and I was impressed by the overall look of the lobby etc. To me its got that old school kind of charm but if you look at the building as a whole it looks modern. Did you look into the visitor policy to see if they allow or charge extra to bring chicas in? Below are some photos I took that night.

Nice place, I've stayed now a few times very girl friendly (1 a day) I think with no charge if booking directly through hotel room for 2 , if book through 3 Road party they charge you a girl fee, I recommend the balcony rooms very nice! I am also planning my first trip to MDE in few weeks. I plan to stay in Parque Lleras, hotel Du Parc. I know its a little expensive but I want to be near the action. I do not want to spend too much time traveling. I am working on lining up some SA chicks who will come to me. Would you agree that this is a good start for my first trip and get familiar with the things?

Just to be clear, to those saying I'm a "scaredy cat" and that Medellin is not for me (albeit you are well-intentioned), my major issue is finding information and planning. I know Medellin is nothing like other mongering places I've been to which is why I'm trying to understand as much as possible, but the information out there is largely either outdated, contradictory or non-existent..

I guess I am perplexed by what I am reading. If someone where to go back say three months in time on this thread and start reading the reports they would know just about every thing you would need to now from where to stay, how to get to your lodging, where to get tested prior to departure, where to find girls, how much they cost, where to eat, safety precautions to take, how to get around the City, and all kinds of other valuable information.

There has been more activity on this board then ever before, and albeit some of the information may sound contradictory at times, a lot of it is correct. F your not coming for a long period of time, I would suggest you stay at the Mansion for a first timer.

Medellin can be like a maze of mongering venues compared to other mongering destinations, with the biggest obstacle compared to Asia which seems to be your experience base, will be a language issue. More and more of the newbie Colombian mongers as evidenced in their reports struggle with this.

I'm glad to hear your not pulling the plug on coming here, although I suggested you not to.

With that being said, and if you haven't gone back three months on this thread, and I know there's probably at least a couple of thousand posts, you should find all the information you need.

I'm sure your posts as a newbie first timer Colombian monger will be interesting and / or amusing to say the least.

I've decided not to cancel my trip, but I'm now accepting that I'll pretty much have to turn up and find places to visit when I'm there (which takes me out of my comfort. And enjoyment. Zone because I plan everything to the nth degree (including mongering which so far has worked out great in every other country I've visited). Recommendations for places like La Isla, New Life, etc have been noted and researched. I really appreciate those recommendations.

And I have some good FB potentials now, thanks to lots of helpful DMs.

Who knows. MDE may just turn out to be awesome exactly because it takes me out of my comfort zone and is completely contrary to how I plan mongering trips! Haha.

Thanks all for the advice and responses. I've accepted the situation for what it is and will largely just roll with the punches (hopefully not literally) when I arrive.

And based on information I received I avoided Medellin for a long ass time. Getting Boots on Ground I can understand why it's a popular destination.

Being in Medellin is almost like being in the states in certain areas Compared to Cali there's more money flowing through here and more things to do.

At the end of the day it's hard for someone to really tell you the information that you want to hear because they don't know what you care about.

I have a buddy planning a trip and even though I'm a fan of Cali I told him that Meddy is more "lit" he's leaning toward Cali because of the abundance of cheap casas.

I'm more of a freelance / semipro / non pro fan I've gotten "the look" in Laureles and in Santa Fe Mall from "nonpros".

I agree, but the girls that I choose to fuck don't charge 150 k mas taxi. They charge 300-350 k mas taxi. No matter how hard I negotiate. I would be happy to pay less, but they won't budge. Sometimes the service is good, sometimes it is shitty, you never know. But the girls that charge 150 k mas taxi are not attractive enough for me to even consider giving them a chance. And if you ask me, what is better, a 6 providing great service and a 9 providing shitty service, I would say I would rather jerk off or will keep looking for a better opportunity.

Well said MiamiBoy. I feel the same way as you do. I am not going to travel all the way to Medellin to bang a 6, no matter how good the service is. I can get that easily in Tijuana for a reasonable price. I want to pay only for eye candy, I. E. 7 and above. Many folks state that one tends to get shitty service from a hottie. That is true, however, that can easily be fixed with appropriate tips. That has not failed me so far. The few times that has not worked, the girl became history.

I PM'd you but I got my answer from your previous posts. You're in the SA market which is different from FB. SA is more convenient for the buyer (every girl is prefiltered for accepting money for sex), and self-selection makes it so that the the blandest girls know they're not going to succeed on SA. SA also prefilters for guys who can at least pay the membership fee. These two things means that SA is always going to be more expensive than FB on average. In terms of chica hotness, my personal view is that the top of SA is the same as the top of FB but there's a greater number of 8+ on SA for sure. Building an FB roster of just 8+ takes way more work and depends on FB giving you good suggestions.

I am going to MDE in few weeks and wondering how do you guys approach working girls in public spots like Plaza Botero with no Spanish speaking skills? Do the girls talk in English or do I need to use a phone translator app?

They don't speak English. You have to either use translator or get out a notepad. LoveItHere likes do use paper and pen, he prewrites down phrases to ask for price, age, time, and what he wants the girl to do. You can do the same if you're not comfortable of pulling out cellphone and use translator.

Just reading on that report about the OF girl asking for 500 mil. I live in a local market where black girls charge $500/ HR and white girls charge $1000/ HR. As tempting as it is to convert her 500 mil to USD and call it affordable, the chances are she'll treat you worse than a cheaper and equally hot girl who has less exposure than she does.

From my personal experience, within a market, more money only gets you hotter girls and not necessarily better service. Service and hotness are often (but not always) inversely correlated, not because a girl is hot, but because a hotter girl usually gets more exposure. Average girls with a lot of exposure can command more than a hot girl with low exposure. By having an OF account, that girl probably gets offers left and right.

Even if 500 k vs 150 k means nothing to you, you're still better off looking elsewhere unless service quality is also equally meaningless. 150 k mas taxi is enough to get you very good looking girls with great service.

As you can tell from my number of posts I'm pretty new down here in South America. To the one monger that's even newer than me don't worry too much. Sure it can get confusing at times and nothing will be perfect but if you've been mongering in the US you'll understand that you've landed in a gold mine, and I haven't even been in Medellin yet. Use the hotel safe for your documents, don't wear any jewelry, don't carry huge wads of cash that bulge out from your pockets. Spending money on a learning experience will be far cheaper than in the US and still better than many of your best times on the far side of your hometown hoping you don't get busted by a sting.

On the other hand my boss has finally realized that it would be better to have a hotel in downtown Medellin rather than Rionegro. That's great for spreading some pitch around a new city for me. (Get it? Pinetree. Pitch?) I hope our new hotel in Poblado doesn't mind the odd chica stopping in for an hour or so. I love Bogota and hope Medellin competes well.

Sounds like you have very limited time. I would just stick to the casas. Thenyou have no risk of no shows and can male best use of your time. Also no need to waste time in 'chatting' with girls.

But if you do feel the need, simply tell that "quiero conocerte". They understand well enough what that means, especially if you tell them you are in town only for a few days. .
