Been to Gustos close to a dozen times on several different trips. For most dudes, the guys are going to get quoted 150 USD for an hour and 200 USD for all night. You can talk them down and get lucky if you wait around for closing and maybe knock a few bucks off, but that's the general rate. The girls aren't there to fuck hot guys for fun, they would go to normal clubs for that. They are there to make money first and if they have fun along the way its a bonus. I did pull a 3 some out of there a year ago for around 600-700 mil and the one girl wanted to stay the night and I had to kick her out. My last trip I was quoted 200 USD for the night and the girl wouldn't budge and neither would I. I also approached a few girls and they didn't seem too interested so I definitely did not make an offer. Ended up taking a very decent girl out of the park for 300,000 and I know I should have haggled to 200,00 but I was in the moment having fun, my fault. I would be very surprised to hear a girl leaving gustos for 100,000. Maybe 200,000 but with the pesos so low right now that's less than 30 $, might as well be free at that point.

If anyone has stories of getting a cheap gustos girl for 200 mil or less, please share the tale and let us know it is possible for some.

Just a stupid question here, but how do the other girls know what the guys are paying a girl, how is it controlled.

If the club is only making the entrance fee and drink sales, who's monitoring and enforcing this as I find this hard to believe that the girls who work there would enforce this unless the club was involved.

I don't know about all the girls, but some girls, they are on WhatsApp groups, and I think they decide on the rates, at least what they hope to get. I know a girl for a few years, I try to see her when in town, and she is available. She has a regular office job, so sometimes hard to get hold of her. We don't talk prices anymore, she comes, we eat, drink, music, dance, she might have party favors. She might stay anywhere from 2 to 5 hours, I pay her anywhere from 200 mil to 300 mil and usually give 20 mil for taxi. She never asked for a specific amount, and never counted it before me. I am pretty close to her, so she even let me see her phone. She is on some WhatsApp groups where they discuss money. There was one group where the name was 300 mil una hora mas taxi. They exchange info about bad dudes who stiff them or hurt them, and even post pictures of do not see guys. Girls post messages asking for date referrals if in cash crunch. Also, some girls hook up guys with other girls, I think they charge 50 mil for referrals. Not sure if the guy pays or the girl pays. There is some organization of the girls, but I am not sure how effective and efficient it is. According to my girl, she is not hooking anymore, but sees me because we are friends. Once, she said the girls decided to change 300 mil per hour, and said would I pay that amount. I laughed and said, no I wouldn't pay that amount, and if they are able to get that from someone, more power to them. I told her, I doubt they would get that price, as it was in the middle of the pandemic in December 2020. I messaged another girl one time on short notice and asked her to come. I think she is more of a pro. She said, she came from Parque Lleras. She stayed for 2 or 3 hours, I think she made me nut 2 times. I think I gave her 250 mil. She didn't complain or say anything. I think she charges 200 USD in Parque Lleras or Gustos, but was saying that business was down. Again, this was December 2020. She can suck the life out of you, and has a stacked body. She said she had worked in some English speaking Caribbean countries and was able to speak some English.

So there are a whole range of price points and situations in various locations and platforms. You need to figure out what works for you.

I know Medellin's great for mongering and that'll bring me there, but is it realistic for an American to be able to get regular girls there too? If so, that may be keep there LOL.

Is it realistic for you to get regular girls where you live? If you have no trouble getting the kinds of girls you want at home, you should have no trouble getting the kind of girls you want in Medellin.

Thanks, Price up to 200 usd is not an issue. Maybe at la Isla are more girls, I have heard some times there are even some models there. I think taking a girl outside of la isla is expensive like 600 K + 180 K to take it out.

I have read several reviews, this is my last night at Medellin, I have been here for a couple of days but only with one friend. Where would you think would be the best option to take the hottest girl, Gustos, parque lleras or la Isla. From what I have read Gustos is not the best option in terms of price, but from what I have read at la Isla you may pay similar. This week I have walked and seen some girls in the Lleras park but may have had no luck and haven't found any nice looking girl there, where do you think I would have a better chance of getting the most beautiful girls looking closest to a 10 rated girl? Maybe a nonpro place but the truth is I am old so would be difficult to get a nice girl on o nonpro place.

As I said, I'm not a Gusto's expert by any means. But logic would tell you this dynamic applies in any freelancer type venue. It's laughable to think that another girl can verify how much a guy gives a girl in these types of places. Guys can pay what they want and girls can accept what they want.

The whole Gustos discussion is silly I think. I've been there. The chicas pay a lot to get in, they also know the story of who is there and why, and my bet is that in 30 seconds after getting in they decide what they are going to charge, and what their bottom line is. And on the street below it might be 200 k, and once they are up the elevator it might be 200 dollars. It's not a rip-off, it's not a scam, it's just the free market at it's best. Whether it's 30 k downtown, 200 k on the street in parque Lleras, or 150 k on facebook, it's all a free market. When buyer and seller agree no one is being ripped off or extorted. And often, not always, you get what you pay for. The fantasy of picking up a hot chica in a place like Gustos is far different than picking up the same chica even, in a cockroach infested short term hotel in centro. If centro works for you then don't bother going into Gusto's, and feel good that you're not paying those prices. But for many their experience at Gustos may be a highlight of their lives. Great. They may not have known the alternatives, but they had a great time and some chica is happy that her gamble to go there paid off. Lots of happiness generated. A good thing.

Exactly, but there are guys here that seem to think Gusto's is "unionized" somehow and the girls control the prices, and have control over girls that don't adhere to established pricing.

I believe Knowledge articulated Gusto's as being a place guys patronize who know nothing about mongering in Colombia.

And he's correct, however Gustos has it's place in Medellin, no different than the Mansion, in the sense that both places are a perfect fit for some guys.

As an example, a guy is in town for a few days, is well off, and staying at the Charlee Hotel.

He doesn't have to go far to get a companion at Gusto's, yet doesn't realize the girls working outside of the entrance to Gusto's around the Park go for 1/2 or less.

I find it amusing when I read posts about guys that have gone with girls from there and think it's the best place since sliced bread.

If they only knew how hosed they were getting, but at the end of the day, if the guys had a good time, and it's work for them, that's what matters.

Yes, it's crazy. This craziness was caused by the gringos, mainly Americans, there who accepted to pay 1,000-4000 % of normal prices. That's why locals always say that gringos fuck up everything.

I've been going to Santa Fe in Bogotá since 2018 and I just started exploring Medellin this year. I did notice a lot more gringos in Medellin than I did in Bogotá. I myself prefer places with less tourist attention, Cúcuta was actually a nice place for mongering and with really good prices. And Santa Fe in Bogota and centro in Medellin but I have to check out Poblado.

Yes, Gustos is a classic clip joint. The key clip join attributes are there: the majority of its clientele has little to no knowledge of market rates, it is in a location frequented by tourists, its price points are unique to a small group of other local clip joints.

Gustos is a damn clip joint. Go down the block to Parque Lleras Bar and you will see similar quality for less, albeit there may be a few more hotter ones at Gustos. Not one of the girls in Gustos quoted us less than 150-200 us dollars and they never quote in pesos. I am fluent in Spanish and above average looking as well but they are all business there. To me, this is why Medellin is not the Holy Grail for mongering for freelancers at bars or discos. There are just not enough venues or one single great venue where prices are reasonable and quality is good. The Cocal bar in Jaco Beach, Habanos / Don Julios in Panama blow Gustos out of the water for quality, and selection. Girls can be had for 100-120 max in either of these venues while the better girls at Gustos want 150-200. I certainly did not see any 9s or 10s in Gustos so I don't see the justification for high prices. Many average girls in these places, while the hottest girls are online (FB, escort services, online etc.).
