Gosh, if you want hot water stay in a nice hotel or apartment in a nice neighborhood. Don't expect all the bells and whistles paying under 3 bucks for a room. This topic should be moved to the stupid shit in MDE thread, no wonder mongers can't find useful info in all the clutter here.

Yep, the shower head variety of water heating is by far the most common in any mid to lower income settings, establishments. The casas downtown may have these in some of the shower in some of the rooms and they work only some of the time. I don't bother fiddling with the controls if I'm in one as I often see bare wires and 220 volt connections.

For one thing, it would be out-of-date the moment it was posted.

Except for the higher end tourist areas where you could reasonably expect hot water, you would more or less assume your short-time love motels will not have hot water, and be happy when they do. Otherwise, ask before your longer reservations and don't freak out if and when you have to do without hot water at times.

I get it. Guys bring their own shower heads and want hot water. My Numero Uno Novia Catgirl loves extra hot showers when she came to my hotel, hotter than I like. Believe it or not, a surprising number of chicas shun the hot water and would laugh and try to hit me with cold water when we are in the shower together.

I am not trying to get anyone to change their personal preferences but sometimes a little adaptation goes a long way. There are many parallel examples when visiting a foreign country. Remember, that it is much more realistic and effective for the individual mongerer to adapt to their surroundings than it is to expect an entire country to adapt to your individual preferences. I see guys expend a lot of energy on the latter. They often get the desired results but time and energy, like money, is a finite resource for most of us. I try to expend as much energy as I can in Medellin on fucking, licking and getting sucked, jajajaja, and otherwise maintain a relaxed state.

A bizarrely, quixotic request to be sure, albeit one that I can personally relate to--as someone who religiously starts each day with a 10-15 minute hot shower (my substitute for meditation, yoga, and psychotherapy) and relishes a hot water dousing after sessioning with a chica. As Zeos1 suggests, tourist-oriented hotels reliably have hot water. Another simple (if clichéd) screening criteria--you generally get what you pay for. Any Medellin hotel / AirBnB over some minimal price (say $30 per night) can be counted on to have heated agua flowing from the taps. This criteria also (albeit a little less reliably) applies to clubs, casas, spas etc.

More practically, perhaps one of the long-term El Centro Rats among the board members can provide a short list of which among the more popular, bargain-basement mongering venues, (e.g. casas such as Zandalay? Amigas Sexy?; clubs--Barre Ejecutiva? Conejitos?; short term hotels--Premium Plaza? Hotel de Grieff?) dependably offer hot showers. Like AdamWl, whose post initiated this chain of comments, I've been pleasantly surprised on rare occasions by finding hot water in the most improbable of El Centro joints, but don't recall where. Such a list would be practical to compile and no doubt welcome by some (if not most) of us--with the exception of Osteo and the other advocates of paleo-hygiene.

Generally speaking most overnight accommodations, something that you can book online in Medellin, like on booking, or another platform will have hot water in Medellin.

However, in other Cities, such as along the coast, or in the hotter areas of the Country they might not, and you need to inquire with the establishment. I recently rented an apartment in San Geronimo about an hour away from Medellin, and the place had three showers and only one of them had an electric heated shower head. And on Booking from where I rented it thru, there was no mention about hot water.

As far as Love Motels in Centro having hot water, well I have found that if your paying around 12,000 Pesos or more for a room that has a shower, it will probably have hot water. But again you need to ask. And then there is the issue of towels. Lot's of places will only give you one, so you need to ask for another one if you want one.

In and around the Veracruz Church area there are several Love Motels that consistently have hot water, albeit it may at times be very hot or lukewarm, and if you go on the backside, where all bars are, and your not paying much, don't count on there being any hot water, let alone a bathroom in lot's of the rooms.

As far as Casa's, Strip Clubs, etc, I'm sure the higher end ones do, but again you should just ask if that is a requirement for you.

When I was there two weeks ago, they required masks coming off the plane and were handing them out to those who did not have them. When returning home, there were plenty of folks in the check-in area without masks, but when you got to the international terminal security check-point, they required the mask (although lots of folks later took them off or were not wearing them fully in the waiting areas). So, yes, just have a mask handy so it does not impede your dash to the immigration line!

In El Centro, I'd agree those are your best bets. But for a much pricier alternative (fancier reception area and rooms, nicer neighborhood) there's Spa Fantasias Energy Cra. 74 #101 49, in Laureles, and somewhat in between in price and amenity, Eros spa, Cra. 81 A #34 a 15. Both in Laureles. With perhaps two hot-looking exceptions at Spa Fantasias over the course of 10 or so visits, I've never found much difference in the quality of chica lineups at either of these casas when compared with the best of the El Centro venues. Of course, there's also the famous (former Escobar manse and quite expensive) Loutrons--but in my two (pre-pandemic) visits there were never more than a handful of ladies (3 to 5) available and none that would provide the (for me) essential extras (DFK, BBBJ) even for a generous propina. I took a pass. But, that said, as I vaguely recall, the few chicas in the Loutron lineup were definitely better looking than you'd find elsewhere.

I was on Atlantic Beach, Florida two days ago, see foto of view from my room. I was on the sand when a little cutie in a bikini stood up as I approached, and started shaking her ass as if she were dancing. She seemed to be saying, "come and get it". She got cuter as I got closer which is always nice. She was accompanied by some Jabba the Hut type of female who could've been friend, mother or sister, impossible to tell.

Anywho, never been the shy type and we were on the beach right in front of my hotel room at the Seahorse, so of course I immediately thought of the nasty things I could do to her in my room. Fuck, I'd plow the fat ugly one if it would get me to this one, you know how I am. If it is female and has two out of three wet holes available, I will fuck it.

I got within about five yards, close enough to say "Hi" to the lump, when the cute one turned and ran away down the beach, about a hundred meters, then continued to dance at the water's edge.

I wasn't certain if I had been soundly rejected or if I was supposed to literally follow in pursuit, but I didn't have the patience for the latter. Plus, my gut was telling me "rejected" so following her would have been an exercise in futility.

This is a good example of what I mean when I wrote many times before that Medellin has "ruined" me for dating and chicas here in the US of A or Pussy Prison. I would have been half-way to ruining this chica back in my motel room while her friend watched if I were in MDE. Such a difference.

I didn't take more than two-steps out of my way and continued across the sand back to my motel room, no regrets, but no patience for these types of encounters any more.
