I used to use this place many years ago before I was "schooled" They used to not even offer C. O. P's in the drop down menu and I had to call ahead. Now I'm happy to announce that they have added Colombia as a choice. They give pretty good rates and they delivered right to my door the next day at no cost. http://www.us.travelex.com/US/Home/?utm_medium=cpc

Of course a NO FEE atm card is the way to go. I don't know why this member doesn't just get one. There are so many now and its so easy. Regardless that's his business.

Wilt why would he need to wait in line at the bank and not just go to a casa de cambio? Their in every major mall?

Thanks Matt. You're right, I had the wrong Tatiana. I did ask about the girl Rina (Rena) you had mentioned at SF2, but she wasn't there that day.

This guy got killed the day after I got here. Apparently he was wearing a gold chain and tried to resist when being robbed at a stoplight. He had been here for 9 months so he should have known better. Leave the gold and expensive watches at home guys. Remember, even if you're a door greeter at Walmart, to the thugs here you're a rich gringo and an easy target. They will smoke your ass muy pronto. I've been here for six months straight now and knock on wood have avoided any serious issues. Be smart about what you do, when you do it and how you do it and live to fuck another day.

Regarding the five people killed in a taxi a while back, iirc the 2 guys were gang members that had just been released from jail, the 3 women were girlfriends of the guys. The gang they belonged to was suspected in a police officers death the year prior. Not too hard to put two and two together.

Thanks EZ! Your report was one of the reasons why I put SF2 on my list. Oh well, there is always next time.

The papasan there was very nice and produced 6 chicas. All in all, I'd say that they were 5s on average and I wasn't swayed by any of them.

Casa reports: Sexy Fantasias 2, Masajes de Sexi, New Life

    Hola Gents,

I made another casa run on Friday, and I thought I'd share my observations with you all.

    Sexy Fantasias 2

Despite my best attempts, I wasn't able to leave my place early enough and as a result, I got to El Centro around noon. As usual, I rode the metro to the Prado station and walked from there. My first stop was Sexy Fantasias 2. The papasan there was very nice and produced 6 chicas. All in all, I'd say that they were 5s on average and I wasn't swayed by any of them. I saw the girl Tatiana that Matt Psyche referred to, and I was briefly tempted, especially given her enthusiastic smile and attitude, but I decided to check out other casas. The papasan was understanding and didn't try to push me at all, so maybe I'll go back there.

    Masajes de Sexi

I walked a few blocks over to Masajes de Sexi and found it pretty easily. I got there around 12:15pm and was welcomed by a papasan. I saw about 8 chicas, some better looking than others, and they covered the whole spectrum of shape and size (from the petites to the thick and curvy). I chose a chica named Andrea and paid the papasan 30k for the 1/2 hour. We went into a room and got down to business with the usual: covered BJ, DATY. 69, etc. I had brought my trusted Trojan condom, and she said she preferred to perform the covered BJ with her condom, because she doesn't like the taste of the Trojan condom. So, we did just that and she switched condoms when I was good and ready for the main act. Andrea was cool and eager to please, which I liked a lot. When I finished, we were doing it doggie style, and she did this thing where she basically pumped everything out of me with her internal muscles (I guess it was like she was doing Kegel exercises with me inside her). It was awesome, and that alone pushed the performance to a 9 (hey, I am not that hard to please jajaja). Anyways, I told her I liked it and we chitchatted a bit before I left, after giving her a 5k propina (I know, I am cheap). One thing to note is that the room we were in was right off the hallway, about 20 feet from where the chicas hang out in between sessions, so I could hear them talking while I was in the room. There are other rooms further down the hall, but the setup there is definitely different from the other casas I've been to, where the rooms are on different floors (though Geisha is similar to Masajes de Sexi).

So overall, I'd give Masajes de Sexi a 6 for the girls. 7 for the chica Andrea, and 9 for the experience. I'd probably go back there to session with her. Thanks for the plug, Matt Psyche!

    New Life

After the great session at Masajes de Sexi, I decided to take a chance on the chica (Nicole) that I previously saw at New Life. On my way there, I saw a girl delivering food at one the casas (it might have been Sexi Sala or Relax / Camilla, I don't remember) , which reminded me that this was probably a bad time to visit casas. Anyway, I continued on my way, and after a stop at my favorite panaderia, I made it to New Life a little after 1pm. Incidentally, the food delivery girl was just leaving the place as I was walking in. As was the case the last time I was there, New Life was packed (I counted at least 7 guys, all locals). I told the mamasan I was looking for Nicole and she called her over. I think she was surprised to see me because I had never even talked to her and she had never seen me before. As we were walking to the room downstairs, I explained that I saw her on a previous visit and wanted to spend time with her, which I think flattered her. Now the room that I had this time wasn't the greatest: twin-size bed, run-down bathroom. She asked me if I wanted to take a shower, so I did and she also took one after I was done (the cold water felt pretty good). She offered a light shoulder massage and after that, she started on the covered BJ. I suggested 69, which she agreed to, but she kept moving a lot (specifically moving away from my mouth) , as if she didn't want it at all. The covered BJ was kinda okay, nothing to write home about. After that, we got down to doing what I like to do, starting in mish style and then cowgirl. I switched to doggie after a while, and she complained about it, and we went back to mish style. Eventually, she stopped and got off me, and just started stroking me with her hand. I thought she was trying to take a break, but after a while, I was ready to cum and I left finish me off like that.

Overall, I'd say that she is very beautiful (light skin, taller, great smile) , has braces (might be a problem / preference for some people) , and her body is okay, at least compared to her face (small tits, a little stomach flab, but nice butt). I'd rate her as follows: face 9/10, body 6/10, service 5/10. I think she wanted to do the least possible to pass the 30mins. Exactly the opposite of what I would hope from a session. So I don't think I'd session with her again, but as usual, YMMV.

So, my success rate for the day was 50% (great with Andrea at Masajes de Sexi, disappointing with Nicole at New Life) , which I can live with. I am thinking that for my next casa run, I'll go back to Geisha to check out Angie, one of the morenas I saw there. I am also intrigued by Encuentros. Hopefully I'll have some good news to report soon here.

    Peace.

There is a Cambio right after the last luggage Xray when you pick up your bags on the way out right on the right hand side. Then you and buy a beer a little further past the exit on the way out.

"What kind of traveler goes on trips with no ATM card?" The kind who doesn't have one. He also posted elsewhere he has no credit card, so could not join the board to get PMs. Hope he doesn't have to show "proof of sufficient funds" when he gets to Colombia, because if his "sufficient funds" are all cash, he will probably get robbed on Day One.

Thats the best way to go with consistenly the best rates.

Taxi is a flat rate of 54k to or from the airport.

The rest of the time in city, they use meters. Make sure they turn it on. 95% of the time they do.

This was most likely a personal vendetta or robbery attempt this last April but always try to call a "SECURE" taxi when possible!

"Five people, including a pregnant woman, were assassinated in the city of Medellin Friday, local media reported.

The assassination of the two men and three women took place Friday evening in the north-western slum of Santander while the victims were driving through the neighborhood in a taxi.

According to witnesses, the taxi was attacked by men on two motorbikes.

According to local newspaper El Colombiano, the taxi driver survived the massacre.

The northwest of Medellin has seen several massacres this year already. In the city, local gangs, are involved in a territorial war between "Sebastian" and "Valenciano," both former members of the "Oficina de Envigado," a branch of demobilized paramilitary organization AUC."
I am traveling with a credit card (as a backup).

I don't have no fee card and I'm sure that my bank will also charge me for commission for the

Currency exchange therefor I prefer to use cash.

I was thinking changing a $100 in the airport and the rest in casa de cambio / bank close to my hotel.

Thanks for the warning regarding the Taxi.

We had a party planned at MM and a lot of girls were invited and it was a total flop.
    Mark,

This is generally the case and most all of the Paisitas are going to be home with the family for New Years.

Now many of them can and might break away from the family following midnight but it is not a given by any means.

One needs to have their ducks in a row and there plans in order or otherwise they might find themselves bringing in the new year sin chica!

If you are a regular to Medellin and have a fav maybe she will invite you over to celebrate with la familia.

Think about it? You call 2 sicarios on 2 motos, attack from both sides with automatic weapons. The taxista covered with blood most likely played dead and the sicarios did not sick around to check. He should hit the Iglesia every and light a candle. I don't think he was in on it because his safety would not be guaranteed with 5 people in a tiny taxi with everybody needing to be killed. It definitely sounds like a hit and these sicarios did their job and the taxista got away with his life. Sounds like it was personal, very personal and especially these days sicarios come cheap!
