I've been there. The food was OK. I think the attraction is more about the view and location than anything else. There are plenty of other restaurants that are more convenient with food that is as good or better. After all, panoramic views of the valley are not hard to find. Check any of slapshots jacuzzi photos.

We had two appetizers, four entrees, one dessert, and drinks. The ladies had two pitchers of sangria and I had a bottle of water. The water was 17,000 and the sangria was 120,000 per pitcher (small). Each of us had a different type of entre - pork, salmon, steak, and crab triangles. I wanted chicken, but the waiter said it would take two hours to prepare. Salmon was the only fish on the menu at that time. The crab triangles were like ravioli except three sided and no sauce, and the taste was very bland. The salmon was good, the pork was just okay, and the steak (ribeye) had a large gristle in it. A band was playing and our table was next to the band. They were so loud that we could not have a conversation. Lucky for us, they took a few breaks during our meal..

If you go definitely recommend reserving a table where you have a good view and check out sunset and avoid a time when it rains and clouds block the view. Tip is included but its a nice place so we always gave the waiter an extra tip.

Ordered the Tomahawk also, big mistake, mostly fat, bone and other inedible material.

Would be a great place for a non puta wedding, I'm guessing the puta sitting across from us was a major distraction, she looked like a 25 yo Donatella Versace.

Swollen lips and face, but that's the kind of people those places typically attract, the food was not very good, not unlike the Signature room in Chicago.

https://www.signatureroom.com/ great ambiance but that's about it just another "empty suit" don't expect Michelin starred haute cuisine.

You're paying for the view, superficial crap, for mostly superficial people.

If you want a great meal go to Lucio Carbon y Vino, and order the Ribeye and the strawberry and blackberry soda wowwww, killer meal, great people, if you get a chance to chat with Fillipe the mgr sooper cool guy!

BTW we drove around Bello looking for new high rise bldgs, Bello looks cool I didn't see any nightlife.

But much too hilly for me, I want to walk or ride a bicycle to the store.

I guess a bldg with good security would be OK.

We saw several high rise, most looked kinda old, 1 new construction, but didn't look like it had 80 k usd condos.

I'm guessing we drove around 90% of Bello including all the way to the dead end at the top, did we miss your place?

I could live there, but I would want some place flatter, maybe Envigado?

Any place but El Poblado LOL.

    Evigado is my favorite.

    Quite analogous to mongering

Transportation from there late at night was a problem. One of the employees knew someone who had his own transportation service. The cost was 45,000 from the restaurant to Laureles.

Tripadvisor's rating for Colosal is 4.0 out of 5. It is rated #15 of 183 restaurants in Envigado.
I was hoping to "trigger" a convo comparing the 2, but I guess that won't happen LOL.

Some mongers will seek out the purely superficial and others will only except service with tangible substance!!

Post-script to Colosal one of the worst steaks I've ever had (shitty cut poorly cooked).

However, on a good night you can find a better selection at Barra Ejecutiva for a lot less. The short time rooms at Fase Dos are better than La Isla.
I really appreciate for the intel! Barra Ejecutiva was in my notes from my last visit prep, but never made it there.

You do need quite a bit of local intel to navigate the perilous, scam filled mongering scene. Also, the high end indies that I seek are rather expensive.

My favorite mongering spot is Kolkata (after St. Petersburg, Rus) mostly because of some good brothels in a red light area called Sonagauchi where you can indulge your Bollywood induced fantasies.

Hold off for at least 6 months though. They still have not come out of the second wave and they expect a bad third wave this fall.

Hit me up on PM if I can answer any other questions. I'm planning to visit early next year if you need a wingman.
There is Sonagashi and there is the rest of the mongering world. Two different entities. It is a spectacle that after you have been there you wonder whether you were dreaming or were on another planet. I remember banging a chick doggy with her on the bed and me standing (only position I did there) and a rat passed by my feet that would chase any domestic cat. I had problems maintaining my erection after that. Other memorable locations were the Catacombs in Chang Ping China (no longer in existence) where I had my most memorable session of all time for all the wrong reasons and Geylang, Singapore before the crackdown.

Where's The Beef A Steak Advisory

Recently we passed by the place and he said they slaughter 1200 heads per day. The good stuff they pack up and send to USA and Europe. The shitty meat they keep in Brazil. I knew I wasn't damn crazy all these years. Fuck that picanha BS!
Getting a good steak in Colombia is a challenge.

As far as Colombian beef, I've purchased various cuts of what is labeled as "prime" at Jumbo and Carullia to BBQ and they all have one thing in common, literally no fat whatsoever. So for guys wanting a nice fat juicy steak, if it's Colombian beef, forget it. This is why a lot of places offer imported steaks on their menu.

Unfortunately though, the beef from the USA which a lot of places offer is a choice cut, and nothing to write home about. Be warned that the Certified Angus Beef from the USA sold in all the markets, and offered in lots of restaurants is terrible, great advertising though, but in terms of taste and quality, like Jose Cuervo tequila.

The best option for getting a good steak, like a nice juicy New York, which was my first dinner upon returning to the USA (and a reminder of sweet juicy pussy), is to go to a place that has imported meats from either Argentina or Uruaguay. These meats are available in Carullia and Jumbo if your grilling at home.

Best bet at restaurants for this of course are the Argentina restaurants like Cambalache in Patio Bonito.

    And don't forget the Malbec!

During the week sometimes the place can be overwhelming with so many Chicas available, hordes of them, and some in packs, like hyenas, yet so many hidden gems to be discovered.

Sounds like your having a great time!
    You summed it up perfectly.

I like the pack of hyenas analogy you used, I saw several of those packs today, LOL.

And yes, I found a sweet hidden gem this trip already.

I gave her 50 k today to get her hair and nails done.

She's gone above and beyond the call of duty for me, without one complaint.

There's a kind of crazy looking gringo, they tell me he's French, but I don't know, anyway, he walks about Botero and Veracruz with his google translate, shows the girls his phone, offering 30 k pesos for bare sex, and the girl pays the room, LOL.

It's funny to watch the girls' reactions, and he picks the hot young girls.

I saw him doing the same thing at Parque Lleras.

    Funny.

I found, however, that the escorts are eager to upsell from prices as low as $30/ HR and if you dangle the prospect of repeats, they are likely to turn in a good performance.

I'm an old fart and all about repeats. Works for me.
    Repeats LOL.

I recently did a sooper pornstar one day in MDE, she was incredible, the next day against "my better judgement" (jajaja) I was trying to get anal LOL.

I did her again, even tho she ratcheted up the PSE it was very mehhh.

So what do I do, I have her a third day in a row, she's trying hard, but I felt like throwing up LOL.

Anyone ever see the movie OldBoy? LOL.

Eating the same fucking food everyday, no gracias, just put a bullet in me.

Post-script, SP is one of the most incredibly beautiful cities on the planet, and definitely the worst city I've ever mongered in.

    Another scenic trip day

Went to Laureles to have lunch with Villiany today. Add that to having a beer with Balboa Saturday night. Both were enjoyable encounters. Always happy to meet good people.

Afterwards, picked up 3 girls I know and drove out to Salto de Tequendamita outside of La Ceja. It's not a bad drive, although hit some bad traffic getting back into Envigado. It's a nice waterfall with a little park area and a restaurant. There's a second restaurant, or an expanded menu on the weekends. Prices are fairly reasonable and it's a good place to take photos for when people ask "what did you do in Colombia?

I'm still in recovery mode so no excitement to report today.

I have seen Nutibara in Booking.com and it looks nice from the exterior that's all. But any reasonable hotel would be great. I just don't fancy staying in a shorttime room or a hotel that feels like a "Carcel".
I have a friend who usually stays at Hotel 47 in El Centro. It's not as close to the action but is chica friendly. They offer cheaper rates if you contact them directly, rather than use a booking site. I think he said he got a room for either $13 or $17 a night last November.
