Not comparing apples to apples. Park Lleras girls would be considered high end street girls and not FB girls. The taxi driver can get a good ideal based on where he is picking them up at and time of night. Just put one and one together. Latino guys are more aggressive towards the girls than most the foreigners visiting. The girls will not tell you if she paid for the taxi ride plus a little money with sex. Just like most foreigners will not brag about being robbed.

FB girls, Lleras girls, casa, and Centro girls are different animals. They cross at boundaries at times but mostly stay in their lane. Same as the FB hunters, two week millionaires in Poblado, casa lovers, and street rats cross segments at times but mostly stay in their lane.

Funny about needing to make categories and get worked up over it. I think the gals are basically the same, the gals on FB use that, other social media, hang out at Gustos sometimes, work the street sometimes, and may even work centro sometimes. The few I know all do at least 2 or 3 of these options.

The Parque Lleras ones can be really low end, don't kid yourself. Or high end perhaps, but I've never met one I would consider high end. Basically I assume them to be more dangerous by far than street gals anywhere else, because Lleras is where you go if you want to find an easy target with money. So LoveItHere might consider them high end, I certainly don't. I just consider them something to avoid. Mostly.

Street gals in centro can be anything. They are probably not there to target gringos, so if they do it will only be because they get the opportunity. But again, not my cup of tea.

As for mongers and providers staying in their lanes. They all just do what they find works. And that can change by the day. FB gals that have large followings and work it hard probably do best with their facebook customer base, but they may stop in at Gustos on the way home after a date, or walk through Lleras, or have a drink at a bar somewhere. Always working it.

There may be a somewhat different ethnic mix among those from the area around Medellin compared to the areas around Bogota. There was a lot of isolation over the period of a couple of hundred years, and the Europeans that originally settled the area of Antioquia are from different parts of Europe than those in the Bogota area. So the "average" appearance may be slightly different, but only slightly I think. And of the few thousand people that lived in the area say 400 years ago it is not likely that a significant portion of the 1. 5 million or so now descended from those original settlers and native people that lived there.

He got laughed off the Medellin board before, he will do it again without an extra help from us. He is a font of misinformation and misdirection. For some strange reason, he has a bone to pick about Medellin and he feels like it's his mission in life to let everyone know about it. For many people it is black and white. One city is Nirvana, the next is hell on earth. In my opinion that makes their reviews almost worthless. I'll explain.

The only part of a review which is of any value to others is the objective part. For example, "high temperature today was 83° and it was partly cloudy with a slight breeze. " That's objective. You can read that and decide how the weather was. However, "it was unbearably hot" is subjective. If the person lives in Nome, Alaska, his idea of unbearably hot is different than the guy who lives in Phoenix.

Bogota is a much larger city than Medellin and Santa Fe is different from El Centro. Santa Fe has more options than El Centro, especially late night. Bogota has a lot of museums located in a small area, whereas Medellin has the culture spread over a much larger area.

Each city has it's own flavor and each should be appreciated for itself, not in comparison with another city.

There are literally over a hundred street girls hanging out in that area behind the Vera Cruz church. You must have liked her looks a lot to remember her from Youtube and were able to find he among thousands people milling around in that area. She's chunky and not all that pretty. There are hundreds street girls in Medellin, almost 95% are chunky, fat, short or skanky. I would never fly 15 hours just for that level of beauty, but I did find a couple hot young girls behind the church.

Santa Fe in Bogota is crowded and lively with street and club scenes all night, lots of hot girls, some even look stunning. The area may appear sketchy but a lot of taxis drive around those few small blocks and you can always hop in one to go back to your hotel. Only about half a mile East of Santa Fe is the Candelria district with a major shopping street where thousands people walk, shop, eat at night. It's about 3 mile long, ending at the huge Central government plaza with the national cathedral. Candeleria also has the old town with old houses, cobble stones streets and the small church plaza where Indian peasants proclaim Colombia's independence from Spain. Lots of hot back packing girls stay in hostels in this area.

Bogota is good for immersing in Colombia's culture, history, food, drinks, sights. Next time I would stay in the Cadeleria district and arrange dates with SBs or Tinder. I can always walk to Santa Fe and find hot girls all night, not possible in Medellin.

That last paragraph is the absolute truth. It's not possible to stay in Medellin and walk to Santa Fe in Bogota in the same night.

Any city in Colombia is good for immersing yourself in Colombian culture. However, most travelers only have time to immerse themselves in Colombian cooter.
