Do the touristy stuffs first, Go to gym, chill in the park, take a chica out to the mall, try different restaurants, try coffee shops, ride the cable car, take a day trip with a chica to outside towns of Medelln, walk around in El Centro, try the Casas, get a legit massage from spas, invite your favorite chica to hangout at your place during the day.

And the list goes on just have to plan better.

There really isn't much to in terms of mongering during the day. From 12 to 9 pm I was bored as hell.

Did you end up going to the 5 dollars place by Pelourinho? You can go to El Centro to do the same during daytime. The quantity and quality are better with much smaller ass. Then you can go to the Centro strip clubs in the evening. That should occupy some of your time. It can be boring if you are just here on vacation. Have you tried asking the girl you met at night to come during daytime?

Energy Spa is only about one Metro stop away from the one you get off for Comuna 13. I would combine these for a single trip. Going to do the same thing with New Life spa and back on the Metro to do the cable cars up to Parqe Arvi. Add on stops to eat, why wouldn't that help fill a day? Back to hotel by mid to late afternoon for a nap before dinner time. Just have to plan things out in order not to get bored, that's all.

I'm spending only three nights in Medellin for my first trip since I'm also enroute to Peru and Panama as well. That's really only two full days in town which I intend to spend in addition to a casa visit each day, a visit to Comuna 13 and take the cable car up to Parque Arvi. I also like to sample local food so will be spending time at local restos too. If I had more time, I would take day trips out of town too. I think there seems to be quite a lot to do during the daytime there, not just mongering.

And the constant harassment for money, to buy things and to patronize a busines is too much for me. My ftiend and i was walking toward parque llares and a girl and i guess her bother harassed us for a block. They try to push us to stop and pretty much demanded money. Mind you they where with there mother or other relatives. The kids were native indians and about 7 and8. I looked at my homeboy saying to him do you see this. It was crazy. He said it worst in Cartagena.

You will see the same messaging in every metro and tranvia car as well as on the public address monitors and audio announcements. I think you are projecting a bit.

I saw this sign in one of the public transportation buses in Medellin today. It basically says that it's not acceptable to be ogling the ladies. It doesn't say ladies, but I think that is implied. It doesn't say anything about minors or foreigners, and there aren't a lot of foreigners riding the buses. I don't think the authorities are only picking on foreigners.

I have friends who have met many girls who live normal lives now with well paying jobs by Colombian standards.

Many of them are married and make a good living. But if we call them up for a good time most likely they won't be turning it down.

So you just reinforce what I have observed in Medellin. I assume you are talking about sex for money. There are things that I just don't want to know from people I know, especially that they have been selling sex. It's not my business, telling me does nothing.

Theres also a list of A list Colombian women (newscasters, models, telenova actresses etc) that are available companions as well. They start at 2 k usd.

Maybe they don't give a rats ass about hood rats but they care that your main objective of being there is to bang their women.

I even know a female cop with a BF that use to be a fb girl. And I'm sure for the right price she'll come out. Lots of things you're not seeing and simply don't know. There's a much bigger side to it.

These are very discrete. I doubt regular citizens would know. I don't think it is the problem. I think the problem is what Lleras has become if you compare it to before pandemic. Also so many foreigners concentrate in one area created a non level playing field.

I also find MDE quite boring by large city standards. But afternoon and early evening is my PEAK time period. I either go casa, Centro streets, message a regular, or go early evening to a street club. Usually home and bored by 8 or 9 pm.

There are amazing lunch places to visit, breweries, a number of rather impressive malls for shopping, movie theaters, bicycle rentals / tours, gyms, moto rentals, a dozen tourist sites to check out, or go get a super inexpensive teeth whitening / cleaning and explore other possible medical options, etc. Same or more options as any big city in the USA. Plus many of those same ladies you've been frequenting at night would gladly be a tour guide / company for exploring the city. I've never been bored there.

That is what I was going to say. If you are bored and say there is nothing to do, what do you do when you're not working? Just do what you would normally do. If you're surfing the Internet, surf the Internet. If you just watch all day watching porn, just watch porn. If you drink all day, go to a bar and drink. If you watch sports on tv, just watch sports on tv. Pretty much everything that you would do in your home country when you're not working, you can do in Medellin.

Generally guys who are bored in Medellin are also bored in their home countries.

Now, for some guys, nothing to do means they want to have sex in the daytime along with sex at night. And if that is what you want, plenty of options there. Casas, streetwalkers in El Centro and online girls.

I get this part and I currently use gli router with vpn. But challenge with phone is you can't carry it outside room (if you want to bang in lunch break) and to check email or attend teams. Looking for solution to it.

Setup your personal phone to VPN to US then set it up to be a WIFI hot spot. Connect work phone (with cellular and GPS turned off) via WIFI to personal phone.

Uh, there was no agent in the foreigner's line, and she knew it. If it was a question of being in the wrong line, she would have said that up front. It was leafing through the passport and seeing how many Colombia stamps I had that pissed her off. I was there. You were not. You are making shit up to make yourself feel better.

That is great. It reminds me of when in the USA the police left guys seeing hookers alone until they did not. Everyone was convinced that the cops were going after people seeing trafficked women The police said otherwise and said that if you were seeing pros, you were supporting trafficking and few believed the police were serious. Then they did stings arresting thousands including billionaire Robert Kraft. That was a huge reason I gave up the hobby in the USA.

And guys were in denial until they were not. They had no issues with LE until they did.

Does that say that if the mayor says you are fucking women 18 and over you are fine? Hell no. Is the USA government going to support you if you are in trouble? Hell no. The USA ambassador has said he is coming after you if you get in trouble.

You are seeing what you want not what is being said and written and attacking anyone who does not cow tow to your POV. You need to get over yourself. So now besides the druggings and the theft and the killings, you have two governments condemning what you are doing, but that is okay. I can understand the stand against predators (pedis). That has always been illegal, but now being enforced more strongly, which I support.
According to you, they (the government, US and Colombia) are after you if you engage in any type of prostitution.

I appreciate that you shared this information in a responsible way. Too often I see people on expat social media describing what works for them as "this is the way to do it." You added the very important caveat that there are organizations that don't allow even your expert configuration. Usually it's payroll tax concerns that cause companies to ban off shore work; other companies don't have multinational operations, and still others have defense or other government contracts that prohibit offshore access by employees. When I doubt I usually recommend getting permission to work "remotely from time to time" to prevent summary dismissal if you are discovered. With that in hand, you can finesse extended time away. I agree with you that your setup is going to get it done in all but extreme situations.

I could write a long post about this, but to keep it simple. I use a portable mini-router that is VPN connected to a reliable VPN provider (exiting in the US). It allows no traffic if VPN is down. I connect that mini-router to the place I am staying local wifi. Then my work laptop is connected to it. My work phone (I keep that separate from a personal one) has GPS / location and cellular turned off BEFORE I leave the US. I connect it to the router too, wifi calls allowed. This would not work with highly secure equipment (which can have additional GPS capabilities inside phone or laptop), but for 90% of all corporate setups this works perfect. This gets you to appear as if still in the US. I also use the same VPN at home, so corporate security sees my traffic ALWAYS originating from the same place when I am home or not. There are other methods to increase stealth level (wireguard to a home network, etc.) - but this general setup works great for my corporate setup.

......And I saw a customs lady in Medellin show me a really nasty attitude...... the customs agent looked with absolute disgust at all the Colombia stamps on my passport.......

Reminds me of the immigration officer at Bangkok international airport many years ago in the days when I used to visit Thailand frequently. He looked at my passport and said to me "You like Thailand girls, eh" with a big smile on his face. He further said "Thailand girls very beautiful, eh".
