Here's a safety note. This is something that I use, I always bring my girl back to my room. I set my room up, I know what's in my room. I know what I put in my room and where I placed things within my room. Many members have asked me the location to Casas and I just don't know where the casa's are and I never have sex in the Casa's. I hear too many mishaps in the Casa, the girl took too long to shower, the manager knocked before 30 minutes, the girl wouldn't allow me to fully penetrate her. Even worse, don't tell me about how horrible a girl was and you have no pics, but you continue to recommend the Casa where she works, WTF? I receive so many contradictory messages that I can't begin to start with what I believe and what I don't. I will not recommend a girl and not have a pic, and not the girl's facebook pic, That's funny to me. I am a die hard monger, I ask for what I want and make a offer, all the girl can say is yes or no, but I do not go into a situation where I am paying someone for service and afraid to ask for what I desire.

Let me tell you something I have noticed from messages that I have received and photo's that I have received from several members. If you want a girl next door and one who doesn't look like a hooker you should specifically say that this is the kind of girl that you desire. I see many facebook photo's of girls that want your money, but don't want the exposure of taking personal pics. If you think that you are getting a upscale girl who denies photos then have at it. Its your money, spend it how you desire, but I am getting pics and videos for my money, I keep a log, that's just my preference. Personally I have always stayed away from closet hookers, either you are or you're not. Maybe this is why I like Centro so much, Veracruz is full of hookers. They are there to earn money regardless, that's the spirit of a street girl that I like.

Each monger has his own desires and his own wants, but what I can tell you is this, if you are not keeping a log and you are asking for help then you are just leeching off of the members who monger and retrieve information and numbers and photo's. Biggest safety tip is take the girls to an environment that you can control. Otherwise you are at the mercy of the casa and the girl who has lured you to that location. At the worst event, you can give the girl 20 mil ask her to leave your room and not have the frustration of having to get dressed and walk to a taxi and fester over a poor performance that you had to pay for, that's just my 2 cents as I have recently communicated with several members who have had very poor service at the Casa's. Your money, your choice, just some friendly advice from a monger's point of view who has made a habit of documenting my encounters via photo's and video. Pollo Negro is out!

Thanks man. Well regarding the drug addicts, cocaine is sniffed and not injected like heroin. Among drug users, HIV transmission comes from shared needles. So that girl I saw who's super thin, I felt she was possibly on heroin, meth or something similar so I didn't partake. A lot of heroin users also have skin issues, which is another warning sign. It wasn't severe but it was enough for me to be wary. If they're only doing coke or other sniffed drugs they're not that high risk.

Not exactly true. While most user do sniff it coke is injected by some.

On Sunday, I was riding my bike past La Macarena on my way downtown. As I was approaching the venue, I saw a bunch of white balloons being released into the sky. It was a beautiful site. As I got closer, I saw a crowd of mostly girls holding more white balloons and even more girls were converging at the location. Some of the girls also had signs of a young guy. Probably the murder victim. I didn't realize the significance of the balloons and just thought another artist was coming to perform at the venue.

I thought about going over there and talking to some of the chicas or at least taking a pic of the view but decided instead to keep it moving.

Even more crazy, I think this guy and his crew were on the same flight as me a couple of weeks ago when I went to La Feria de Manizales.

Yes. The one friend I referred to on Day 12 is Judd, who's a regular poster here in the MDE forums. We hung out quite a few times. The English speaking girl from Day 4 was also good company and I met her twice. Almost a third time but she had a scheduling issue. Some other girls are also cool with just hanging out at my place, drinking, getting food, and watching TV with a bit of Google Translate here and there. Not everyone is so patient though, I can feel some girls have a schedule and they need to be somewhere else, and if I see that I limit my small talk and get on with the session.

What are the odds of one stray bullet finding a gringo in Poblado. Not very high but much higher than any other part of Medellin.

Wow. . . If I'm reading the Spanish news article correctly, this kid was killed by a stray bullet after a security guy got involved trying to stop the robbery.

One of the robbers was shot and killed on location and the other was shot and injured and fled, but was captured a short while later. It's not clear to me from the article if the stray bullet that killed Legarda was fired from the robbers or the security guy.

If the latter, that's even more messed up, but typically Colombian!

Also, I would not be surprised if the local MDE authorities are trying to suppress some of the facts in this incident (like if it was the security guy's bullet that killed this kid).

Maybe I'm too cynical, I hope I'm wrong. But it's an important reminder: should you ever get mugged in MDE or BOG by an armed guy, just give him the money you have and get out of the situation / area as quickly as possible. The longer the situation lasts, the greater the chance something will go horribly wrong.

I have found the SW's to be less coke heads then the strippers, out of a dozen or so not one had any habits other then weed. I had a stripper leave some in my room and I couldn't give it away to the SW's. Many of the Fase II and some of the Centro strippers were doing and offering me coke though. I don't think most the SW make enough money for that. The druggies there hang in front of the church and huff glue. I don't think they are welcome on the main strip.

Both very valid points but I think the main one is: who cares if the girls are "addicted" to coke? I personally found a lot more annoying and irritating the need that some of them have to smoke a joint every five minutes. Last time I was there quite a few of the really young girls were into Tusi (or pink cocaine - https://www.worldcrunch.com/culture-...res-club-scene) which they were saying is great if you're on a night out or at a music festival. I was never bothered by much of it especially seen how it seemed to make them hornier and eager to fuck than usual.

Needless to say I took their word for it as I wasn't going to do bumps of a mysterious substance with some random person. Mind you my girl was saying that it was quite popular with the rich kids (or wannabe rich) as it was COP 50 k /70 k a gram (v 20 k for the normal stuff and I assume even less for weed). Once again maybe she was just trying to get me to buy some but from what I've read it sounds plausible. Either way I told her my party days were over so she dropped it pretty fast.

I saw it first in my local news that a singer from my city and fellow alumni from my grad school died in Colombia. I did a search to see where it had happened and it was not in Centro Meddelin!
