A very interesting perspective and read was for me your report. Thanks for sharing. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I always see beauty when I go to those casas you visited. I find it hard to believe that you checked the line ups of new life, zandale, balcones de Cuba and the high end spa all in one day and the girl's quality suck everywhere you went. No beauty in sight. Probably Medellin is not for you. You probably don't like Medellin women in general or you must be the most picky monger in ISG. From reading your post and no offense to you I'm glad I'm not that picky. I think I can fuck a broom if you put a wig and a hole and will find that broom pretty LOL. Posting for the first time on Medellin thread.

About Me. Mongering worldwide since the early 90's and live full time in South America. However, this is my first visit to Medellin and my first report ever here. If this matters, I have posted before on Cali and Barranquilla threads.

Today, I did a survey of 5 famed casas of Medellin. Here are my views:

Casa 1 - Newlife. Location - Calle 56 , No. 43-39 - Blue colored gate.

Arrived around 12 noon on Monday afternoon - 22 June. Sat on the sofa. About 10-12 girls were presented. I tried very hard to like at least one of them. But did not like even one of them. I saw the presentations at least three times. And each time, I did not feel attraction to any of the girls. None of them were above 6/10. One or two did have sexy bodies but the expression on their faces was unwelcoming that I shuddered to think, with how much disdain they will treat me, once inside the room.

However, the presenter, a old man was friendly. He never pressurized me to buy a drink or take a chica or hassled me. Full marks to him for that. While I was there, I saw a group of mongers (possibly from here) and take chicas immediately, as they were presented. Apparently, not everyone has same idea of beauty or attraction (Beauty does indeed lie in the eyes of the beholder)...

And you better be careful paying those prices because when the rate swings back the other way do you think they are going to lower the prices? No. You will just be fucked in a way that you did not intend to be.

I've been an active poster on Tijuana threads and this has always been a topic. What started out as $40 went to $60 to $80 as a norm as of today. I started going to Tijuana back about 6 yrs on a frequent basis and it was 40/50 now, easy $80. Yes, there are still some $60's like Adilitas but HK the standard is $80. Once guys agree and start paying this much the girls in demand will feel that they deserve the higher amount. Yes, totally apples and oranges based on many factors but, in time, MDE will be a haven for new mongers and it will keep growing. And the new will pay the increase fees as they do not know how to get around and don't have the time to invest. Just a matter of time. The one big factor keeping this in check right now for those new waves of mongers is the logistics. But who knows how long that will be. There are already new Airlines creating new routes to MDE as of now. If MDE was a border town, prices would keep going up and soon the Demand will out weigh the supply. I'm just glad it hasn't happened yet. Another good example is Costa Rica. Look how that has changed in the past decade.

In my opinion, when mongering in any country that does not use the dollar, do not use the dollar, mention the dollar, talk about the dollar, or think about the dollar when dealing with hookers. Have an idea of the salaries and prices being paid in the local currency and base your transactions on that.

The relevant factor is not the exchange rate between the peso and the dollar, because chicas aren't spending dollars. The relevant factor is, or at least should be, the rate of peso inflation.

Edited to say that Tall Man posted while I was composing my post. We are saying the same thing, I think.

The OP did state that he has not responded, and seemed serious. BTW I concur with the British guy that the private apartments / casas leave a lot to be desired compared to other parts of the world.

I don't really get the concept of "extras" with a chica that one has been seeing for a long time. Often, this is code for BBFS. But the ones I stay with for a long time do what I want, and that's why they stick around, and I don't view it as "extras. " If I am interested in a long term thing, I tell them what they need to do to stick around, and they either do it or they don't stick around. They do get raises commensurate with inflation, seniority, and consistent performance, but I decide when to give them. If they ask for an increase, that is one thing (although they never do), but if they "inform" me of an increase, they are gone like a cool breeze.

Agreed. Is the OP serious? If one was ballsy enough to "inform" me of 100 k increase, I wouldn't even give her the courtesy of a response. The seller doesn't unilaterally dictate price. There are hot girls all over Colombia and South America who aren't even aware of the exchange rate. The only thing that matters to them is what their food and clothes and transportation cost and that hasn't changed significantly.

As recently as April of this year I had one of the better Mansion girls (IMO) stay TLN for 150 K plus taxi and breakfast in the Morning. And gave me excellent service and wanted to come back again. And no I don't look like George Clooney.

Do you guys think the girls will ask for less (in pesos) if the exchange rate goes back down to 1800-2000?

No wonder the veterans are resistant to reporting on new venues.

Sounds like you've already made up your mind. If you thought she was worth 200-300% more than the going rate in Medellin over the last few years, what's an extra 33% now? To each his own. No doubt there is price inflation in everything, then again, she hasn't somehow had less kids over the last few years or gotten any tighter, so there is the depreciation aspect to consider. On top of that, the fact she's addressing price before you get here means you're not much more than a ticket. Nothing wrong with that because we all want something, just as long as you're seeing straight.

Personally, I have never met a girl I wanted to fuck more after 4 years than I did when I lusted for her in the beginning, so for me the decision is easy, wouldn't even do her for half price after all this time. It's not like she is the only one that does a special service, perhaps you're just taking the easy way out? Again, nothing wrong with taking the easy way but then price has to be a secondary issue not to worry about.

When you go thru all the pain in the butt of the airports, and the expense of the airfare I guess then your main concern should be on making yourself happy on your trip. A lot of the extras you like is always a good thing.

I remember when in the past it went from 2000 pesos per dollar to 1800,and no one lowered their prices to make up for the more money the tourist had to spend for the same service.

I see another poster says the inflation rate is around 4% in Colombia. Myself I would look for greener pastures. Don't be surprised if your Favorita sees the light when you decide to look else where for your sleep in partner.

I've been going to MDE since 2009. For Mansion and former Mansion girls, I have accepted the 150 k COP for ST, and 300 k COP price for TLN. I have been doing TLN with a certain favorita of mine for 300 COP for 3-4 years now. However, as I started to communicate with her in preparation for my trip next week, she told me the TLN price is now 400 COP.

I haven't acknowledged or reacted to that bit of news, yet. But my initial reaction was "what gives?

But then I started thinking, the peso is a lot weaker than it used to be. I recall trips were I got as little as 1,780 to the dollar, and others were I felt lucky that I came down when it was 2,240 to the dollar. I generally figured it was easier to keep things square in my head thinking 2,000 = $1, and was disappointed when it was less, elated when it was a little more.

If I go down there next week and get more than 2,500 cop, I guess it is keeping with the 25% devaluation.

Do you mean a chiropractor who will also provide you with a happy ending? I don't think such a thing is available, even in Medellin.

Inflation appears to be running around 4% on an annualized basis and looks to be heating up a bit. But overall, it's been pretty moderate by Latin American standards. Might be time to find some new favoritas.
