Maybe I'm missing something. What prevents anyone keying in an address on google maps street view to see what is in those photos?

I'm not sure if that's a backhanded compliment but your one of the few people to post photo's of the area, let alone photo's of the really grimy stuff that exists down there. And just to let you know, I have been advised by a friend that he saw a Midget down in El Centro the day before yesterday so perhaps if you have your stealth camera with you can get a shot of her for me, not that it would be hard to miss something out of the circus down there.

You can uber to and from Maracaibo and Barra Ejecutiva no problem. Action picks up beginning 7 pm. It's a 15 minute or so walk from Plaza Botero / Veracruz if you want to check that out from 3 pm to 6 pm or so. After 3 the sun is low enough that girls aren't hiding in the shady spots and it gets dark around 6 pm, which makes it a good time to make your way to the strip bars. Grab a beer at one of the cafeterias on Maracaibo (53St) and watch the civilian girls until 7 or so. You can also watch the strip club employees arriving.

What time did you go to Barra & would a tourist feel safe using uber to & from the strip club at night even though it's in El Centro? I'm really a night owl & love strip clubs but those Luna beer prices sound ridiculous.

I have lived in Medellin for some time and should have posted this a while ago but better late than never.

Last Friday I went to two strip bars Barra Ejecutiva and Luna Lunera. Barra Ejecutiva is in el centro and is pretty cheap compared to clubs like fase dos. You don't pay to get in and half a bottle of rum is 80 k, not sure how much other drinks are but a small beer (called a costenita, just google it for an idea of what it looks like) and a double baileys are 15 k and 25 k when you buy them for the chicas. By comparison fase dos is 20 k to enter and 25 k for a beer for you and bottles start at around 150 k. Girls will come and talk to you in Barra Ejecutiva if you have a bottle and you can talk to a few and enjoy the girls dancing on the catwalk. Last year it was 80 k to go upstairs for half an hour but this seems to have increased to 90 k minimum with a couple of girls asking 100 k to 120 k. I like this place, its cheap and you can find a couple of really nice girls for decent prices, although it does get pretty busy and there aren't many gringos so it could be intimidating, but I like the vibe. If you want to see one outside they are all too keen to give you their whatsapp but they usually don't finish work until 4 am.

Luna Lunera is very different. It's 10 k to get in and the half bottles start at 100 k. Generally more girls will come over and talk to you hear but they are always asking for 25 k cocktails which is a bit annoying. Prices start at around 160 k for half an hour but the rooms are really clean and spacious. In general LunaLunera has a more intimate vibe and is a more relaxed place to hang out but it's not cheap. I know it's expensive but I have gringo friends who love the place for whatever reason, if it was up to me I would be happy hanging out in ejecutive.

I've lived here for just under a year so will add more reports just thought I would start with my most recent experience while it's fresh.

There's an up-charge associated with bringing your own condom's that varies between 3,000 and 5,000 Pesos at the Casa's and even higher at the Strip Clubs. Don't know why but there just is at the Strip Clubs for some reason. I typically to delay ejaculation I wear two condoms, I typically can't feel much but can pop in less than two minutes flat. When I want to prematurely ejaculate, I go bare-back. Maybe five pumps and I squirt, kind like Speedy Gonzales. I hope this helps.

Thought I would try a new place today so I went to Barcelona the viewing fee is now 5000 pesos it is 50,000 for half an hour 70,000 an hour. There were 5 or 6 chicks half were ok looking. I have never ever been charged an entry fee at Luna Lunera. There are two sides to every story. The catch in my case is I don't go there to hang out or to drink. When they ask if I want a drink I say no, let me see the girls (presentation). If I see one I like, I go with her. If I don't see one I like, I kick rocks.

There is no wrong or right way to do this. This is a great report because it lays out the costs factually. But it left out the option to avoid overpriced drinks and pointless entry fees.
