The Secretary of Security of Medellin, Andrés Tobón highlights the importance of self-care: "in places of partying and liquor consumption, it is preferable to be accompanied by trusted people, so that the state of alcoholism does not make us vulnerable. We must bear in mind that on the street not everyone who treats us well is a friend."

The few first hand accounts of victims which I have found online have all been foreign men meeting non-pros who were consenting to have sex for free on the first meeting.

My perception is that being drugged and robbed in Medellin is possible, it's statistically very unlikely and if something is too good to be true (free sex on the first date with a hot young Paisa) then it isn't true. Walk away.

It's a lot easier to get a girl to stay longer or come back than it is to convince her to leave without all the money she's expecting.

Yes, in my experience Medellin is the best place for outside the club or casa. I was with a 19 yo at a casa with an amazing natural bod. I got her what's app and she said 8 pm. She was right on time and she told me how bored she was at work with few customers. She said she couldn't wait to come to my hotel. Another one was a Deepthroat artist. Medellin is the lowest hanging fruit with value and quality- which I took a worldly sophisticated guy such as yourself would understand as a priori to the declarative statement. Many apartments have tighter entry security than some hotels. Some hotels you're able to bypass security with a girl. Each person should consider the level of security which they feel is necessary. There are advantages to both apartments and hotels, depending on each person's situation.

Any girl is a potential risk. The biggest risk appears to be Tinder, but it's a bad idea to assume a girl is safe because of where you found her. Total agreement here. The high number of posts in the Medellin thread indicates only that proximal to the United States, it is the closest and lowest hanging fruit. As for size-for all intents and purposes the entire city of Pattaya in Thailand is a red-light district. In the Western Hemisphere, Rio de Janeiro has far more P2 P options. Columbia is cheap and close- and some mongers prefer Latinas to Asians and don't mind covered sex. The lower Forum activity in the Bangkok and Pattaya thread indicate to me that the logistics are so easy relative to MDE and others such that intel / recon is less necessary. Also the place is flooded with mongers, so there's not as much need to search for camaraderie online.

I think that there is something about Latinas which other women just haven't got. That's my personal, although limited, experience so far.

These are the only statistics which seem at all relevant which I can find.

There were 42,915 motor vehicle deaths in the US in 2021. Approximately 4. 8 million people were seriously injured in automobile collisions in the US in 2020. The US has about six and a half times the population of Colombia.

Is anyone avoiding traveling in a motor vehicle in the United States because of traffic accidents? It's definitely possible to be killed or severely injured when driving in the United States. It happens many times each day. However the odds of it happening to you aren't really very high.

I would say, if you drive in the US wear a seatbelt, follow traffic regulations, don't drink and drive. In Medellin if a girl offers free sex on the first date politely but quickly walk away. I don't think that more anxiety than that is rational.

I've been to Medellin 3 times. I can tell you for a fact the best way to not get scoped is avoid bringing girls from parque Llleras, gusto, and online. Especially if it's an apartment. If it's a hotel where they give I'the, it's lower risk. Street girls are your highest risk. Lowest risk is getting a girl from a casa or la isla for later. I have never had an issue if I had a good session with a girl. The best part about Medellin is the flake rate for hotel after work is much lower than Mexico or Brazil. Mexico flake rate from hk is 90%, Brazil is 50%, Medellin is a surprisingly 20% in my experiences. If you are renting an apartment be very careful bringing those types home.

The high number of posts for Medellin and Colombia in general are because this board has been the go to board for these places from a way back. Other boards cover Thailand for example. I don't think you can read anything more into it than that. It's just a history.
